• Stephanie McGinty of Ives & Associates, Inc.

The Money:

Buckley and McGinty have made four split placements in the past four years, ALL of them with considerably high fees attached to them.  (Login to the Members’ Area and check out their Recruiter Profiles to see the exact dollar amounts of those fees.)

The Sizzle:

Mary Anne Buckley, CPC of Interstate Recruiters Corp

Mary Anne Buckley, CPC

“Stephanie is an excellent communicator and wonderful to deal with. She has a strong foundation in pharmaceutical recruiting and is always willing to tag team and brainstorm with me to improve how we deal with candidates and clients. Stephanie has become a go to resource when I have difficult to fill scientific positions. She spends the time with her candidates, the same as I would, and I know that anyone she puts forward to me, is vetted to the same degree as if I have done it myself. I look forward to doing many more split placements with her!”

—Buckley

Stephanie McGinty of Ives & Associates, Inc.

Stephanie McGinty

“Working with Mary Anne, albeit cross country is simply fun and smooth!  It’s as if she is in my office. She and I have an intuitive sense about what the other needs. Our thoughts and practices are simply on the same page and she makes my job more fun!  I love working with her and wish she were in Ohio.”

—McGinty

You think you’re ‘Hot Sheet’ material . . . don’t you?

Do you have a Trading Partner who you work particularly well with? Are you churning out the placements year after year? Well, then you just might be “Hot Sheet” material! We’re always looking to highlight the most successful Trading Partner relationships within the pages of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, and yours could be next.

Feel free to nominate yourself (and your Trading Partner) by sending an email to marketing@TopEchelon.com. We’ll take care of the rest. Well, most of the rest, anyway.

THE SPLIT PLACEMENTS:

This week’s installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments” includes split recruiting partners in Top Echelon Network who have made multiple split placements with each other.

In fact, in one instance, they’ve been making them so quickly that they’ve been “kicking some serious 2014 hiney!”  And when you get right down to it, that’s exactly what we want: Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiters who are hiney kickers (for lack of a better and less family-friendly word).

And it’s only June!  There’s plenty of hiney left to kick!

Congratulations to everybody who made split placements this week!

THE AWARDS:

At Top Echelon Network, we recognize recruiters for both monthly and quarterly performance in four categories—Recruiter of the Month, Recruiter of the Quarter, Largest Split Fee of the Month, and Largest Split Fee of the Quarter.

For more information about the recruiter awards listed below, login to the Members’ Area and view the profiles and placement details of the Network recruiters who won them.

— — —

RECRUITER OF THE MONTH:

Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group

Trey Cameron

Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group

The last few months, the race for Recruiter of the Month honors in Top Echelon Network has been close.  That was NOT the case for the month of May.

That’s because Trey Cameron made eight split placements in the Network during the month.  The next closest recruiter (and there were many of them) made two split placements in May.  Those recruiters included Joe Cotter of J.D. Cotter Search, Inc.; Jane H. Ko, CPC of DHG Search Advisors, LLC; Veronica Snyder of Career Professionals, Inc.; and Steve Kohn of Affinity Executive Search.

— — —

LARGEST SPLIT FEE OF THE MONTH:

Matt Scheihing of J. Miles Personnel Services and Joe Cotter of J.D. Cotter Search, Inc.

The position for this split placement was a Sr. Brand Manager.  Scheihing was the job order recruiter, and Cotter was the candidate recruiter.  The action that stimulated this split placement was listed as, “Regular communication with another Top Echelon Network recruiter.”

— — —

OUR CRITERIA FOR THESE RECRUITER AWARDS:

Top Echelon Network determines the monthly and quarterly award winners based upon two criteria, which are listed below in order of importance:

1.) The number of split placements made
2.) The amount of “cash-in” dollars earned as a result of those split placements

This explains why, when multiple recruiters are tied with the same number of split placements during a given month or quarter, the recruiter with the largest “cash-in” total for their placements is deemed the winner.

THE SPLIT PLACEMENTS:

Companies—and by extension—recruiters are ceaselessly looking for superstar candidates, those with rare skills and hard-to-find expertise.

And you can find those types of candidates in Top Echelon Network!

The proof can be found in this week’s installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments,” where a split placement was made and one Network recruiter lauded another for providing a “needle in a haystack” candidate.

In addition, another Network recruiter praised their Trading Partner for their fourth split placement.  This once again proves that when two recruiters make one split together, it increases the chances that they’ll make more.

And that they’ll fill their clients’ open positions with “needle in a haystack” candidates!

Congratulations to everybody who made split placements this week!

THE SPLIT PLACEMENTS:

Wait a minute . . . we thought Al Daum was “da bomb!”

Well, we apparently have a challenger in the form of longtime Preferred Member recruiter Joe Cotter of JD. Cotter Search, Inc.

Cotter started recruiting in 1970, and J.D. Cotter Search, Inc. joined Top Echelon Network in March of 2001. Since that time, Cotter has made 42 Network placements.

Daum, on the other hand, started recruiting in 1976. His firm, Alan N. Daum & Associates, joined Top Echelon Network in May of 1999. (Happy anniversary, Al!) In terms of production, Daum has made 61 Network placements during his Top Echelon career.

How about the state in which they live? They both live in Ohio? Darn, we can’t break the tie that way.

You know what? Joe Cotter and Al Daum are BOTH “the bomb” (or “da bomb”)! After all, who could possibly argue that they’re not?

Congratulations to everybody who made split placements this week!

SPLIT PLACEMENTS THIS WEEK:

Yes, we’ve been touting the benefits of a Hiring Hook website and the fact that a growing number of Network recruiters are making split placements through their Hiring Hook sites.

However, nothing beats good ‘ol fashioned recruiter networking!

Despite the growth of website placements in recent years, networking (communication between Trading Partners) is still the number-one way in which placements are made in Top Echelon Network.  It’s been that way for 25 years, and it’s likely to stay that way for a quite a few more.

Below are some highlights regarding this week’s split placements:

Will website placements ever knock networking out of the number-one spot in terms of Network placements?  I’ll guess you’ll have to stick around to find out . . .
