Well . . . it’s not really a “2-for-1 special” on split placements, but lightning definitely struck twice for two Preferred Member recruiters recently.

We reported the first bolt of lightning in last week’s issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Now, just a short time later, we’re reporting the second.  The Preferred Member recruiters involved are Cheryl Campbell Lang, CPC of Career Search Associates and Angela Jacobson of Capstone Sourcing Center, Inc.

Recent PlacementsCampbell and Jacobson filled not one, but two positions at Campbell’s client, and as we documented in our “‘Comments’ and Compliments” feature, it’s a client that prides itself on being highly selective.  That makes these two rapid-fire split fee recruiting placements all the more impressive, and it also underscores the value of the Network and of relying on your Trading Partners to help fill important positions.

It also proves, once again, that the only thing better than a split placement . . . is TWO split placements.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and what’s goes well with turkey, gravy, and pumpkin pie?

Stuffing?  Yes, I suppose stuffing does.  And green beans, too?  Yes, you got me there.

Recent PlacementsSplit placements!  The answer is split placements!  Because split placements taste at least as good as those other things, and there’s nothing better than making a split right before the holiday.

(And not only that, half a pie is better than no pie at all, although on most days, half a pie is better than half a loaf of bread.  But I digress . . .)

So while we’re in the giving mood, let’s give thanks for our family, our friends, and our Trading Partners.  Trading job orders and candidates with just one Trading Partner can produce plenty of split placements—and a relationship like that is something for which you should be thankful throughout the whole year.

Pass the rolls, please.

As we approach our 25th anniversary, we’ve been highlighting our more tenured recruiters in Top Echelon Network, those Preferred Members who have been with us for years and have been successful for years.

Sometimes, those recruiters make our job easy by making two split placements in one week!

Recent PlacementsSuch is the case with Cindy Andrew Cordell, CPC of Corporate Resources, LLC.  Cordell has made 34 split placements in the Network, including three this year.  She’s worked as both an importer and an exporter within the Network, providing the job order half of the time and the candidate half of the time in split placement situations.

In addition, Cordell has attended a number of Top Echelon Network events, such as the annual National Convention and Fall Conference.  She knows the importance of networking and of all Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network.

And that’s why she’s in the “Split Placement Spotlight”!

The numbers are in . . . they’ve been counted . . . and the winner is . . . YOU!  No, you’re not the President of the United States, despite what you may have told your mother about your political aspirations when you were six years old.

Recent PlacementsYou and other Preferred Member recruiters just like you are winners when you “elect” to make split placements in Top Echelon Network.  That’s because splits don’t just “happen.”  Magic split placement elves do not come out at night, qualify candidates and job orders, submit activity forms, and communicate with the magic split placement elves that work for other Network Members.

Instead of magic elves, we have Active Participation, one of the Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network.  You DO have to “elect” to make split placements, because you must choose to invest time and energy into your Network Membership for it to work the way you want it to work.

And what way is that?  With split placements raining down from the sky like so many Skittles: “Catch the rainbow of revenue!”

The recruiters below have heeded the call to actively participate in the Network.  I have no idea if they like Skittles, but the investment they’ve made has paid dividends in the form of completed split placements (no magic elves required).

One of the great things about the split placements section in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog each week is that you just never know whose face you’re going to see.

It could be a new face, or it could be a familiar face.  It could be somebody making their first split placement as a Preferred Member recruiter in Top Echelon Network, or it could be somebody making their 100th split placement.

Recent PlacementsAnd it just so happens that we have a combination of new names and familiar faces in this week’s issue.  Familiar faces like Maria Hemminger, Bob Small, Marc Tappis, and Sean Napoles are included, as well as new faces like Maja Munoz and John Moskonas.

This is what we strive for every week: we want to see those who have already made split placements in the Network continuing to do so and those who haven’t made any Network splits in the past to start making them.

So enjoy this week’s placements, and it doesn’t matter if you’re a new name or a familiar face, we hope that you’re included in this feature very soon.

A funny thing happens when Preferred Member recruiters in Top Echelon Network attend events like the National Convention, or more recently, the Fall Conference.

They make split placements.

Well, maybe that’s not a funny thing.  It is a profitable thing, though, to which the majority of the recruiters below can attest.

Recent PlacementsThose recruiters include Karen Akbal-Sturgeon of KLA Industries, who took her entire office to the Fall Conference.  She has not one, but TWO split placements listed in this week’s issue, and one of the two was with another recruiter who attended the conference.

In all, over half of the recruiters below attended the Fall Conference, and some of the ones that didn’t have attended other Top Echelon Network events in the past.

It’s a tried-and-true formula: Top Echelon recruiters + attendance at conferences and conventions = split placements. Even if you hate math, that’s one equation you just have to love.

This week’s placements in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog provide a blueprint of sorts.  Specifically, they provide a “Blueprint for Split Placement Success in the Network.”

Recent PlacementsAnd why is that?  Because they illustrate the many ways in which Preferred Member recruiters make split placements in Top Echelon Network.  (They indicate those ways on the Completed Placement Forms they submit with their brokerage fee.)

Using these placements as a guide, the blueprint consists of the following:

  1. Communicate with your Trading Partners as much as you can, on a daily basis, if possible.
  2. Search the Top Echelon Network split databases.
  3. Set up automated email alerts within the Network and check them daily.

Sounds easy enough, doesn’t it?  That’s what these recruiters are doing to make split placements in the Network, and you can do the same.

If you want information about how you can be more successful in the Network, contact Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at (330) 455-1433, Ext. 156.  He’ll be happy to discuss your Membership and what you can do to generate more activity and make split placements.

Just tell him that Matt sent you.

It’s one of the Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network.  It’s the number-one way in which split placements occur in Top Echelon Network.

Every week, it’s proven once again its importance to Preferred Member recruiters in the Network, and we’re proving it again with this week’s batch of placements.

What am I talking about?  Communication, of course.

Recent PlacementsIt’s a simple formula, really: the more that your communicate with your Trading Partners, the better your chances of making split placements.  Yes, you only have so much time in the day, but it doesn’t take much effort to communicate effectively.

In many cases, it just takes an effort, and the rest takes care of itself.  It’s not just quality communication, either, but consistent communication—before, during, and after the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process.

The best communicators in Top Echelon Network are also among the Top Producers in the Network, and that’s not a coincidence.  Congratulations to everybody who made splits this week, and we look forward to seeing YOUR face in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog soon.

We’ve highlighted Preferred Member recruiting firm MJ Recruiters, LLC before in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

But you know what?  We’re going to highlight them again.  You know why?  Because they keep making placements, that’s why!

Recent PlacementsAnd this week, MJ Recruiters has three split placements in The Pinnacle.  Not only that, but two of them are direct-hire placements, and other one is a contract placement, showing the firm’s versatility and the different ways in which it strives to meet the needs of its clients.

So if you want to stop seeing MJ Recruiters in the newsletter, tell those at the firm to stop making placements.  But I doubt they’ll listen.

In the meantime, it’s time for “MJ Recruiters-palooza”!

A great way to get our attention here at Top Echelon Network is to make a bunch of split placements.  You know, 100, 200 . . . maybe 300.

Recent PlacementsBut if you can’t reach those numbers quickly enough, then two or more placements a week will definitely do the trick, and that’s the case this week.  The Preferred Member recruiter who made multiple placements is Debra L. Stitt, CPC of Quality Source Inc. of Ohio.

Stitt made a pair of split placements (as you can see below) this week, and she’s been a consistent producer during her time in the Network.  She became a Preferred Member of the recruiter split fee network a little over 10 years ago, and she’s made 35 placements since then, which represents a hefty return on her Network investment.

But of coruse . . . Stitt wasn’t the only recruiter to make a split placement this week.  There were plenty of others, as well, and they’re also listed below.

Who will be the subject of our next “Split Placement Focus”?  Only time will tell . . . actually, only time AND split placements will tell . . .
