When it comes to split placements, it’s not just the third time that’s the charm.

So is the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, and so on and so on.  Such is the case with Top Echelon Network recruiters Catherine Bateman of Woods & Paolino Recruiting Solutions and Paul Johnson of Paul Johnson & Associates.

Recruitment NetworkingBateman and Johnson have made four split placements in the Network during the past six weeks, and they’ve made five split placements overall during the past 12 months.  Clearly, they’ve built a Trading Partner relationship that works and works WELL.

The secret to their success?  It can be summed up best by their comments, which are located below: “effective and timely communication” and “an excellent candidate.”

Bateman started recruiting in 2012.  Johnson started recruiting in 1998.  Once again, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in the game.  When it comes to split placements, you can make them with anybody at any time at any stage of your career.

All you need is a good Trading Partner who works well with you. Then you, too, can make four splits in six weeks!

There’s nothing better than two Trading Partners making a split placement together and enjoying the experience so much that they want to compliment one another for their work in making it happen . . . which led to the creation of the “‘Comments’ and Compliments Extra” feature!

Split Network RecruitingIn this installment of the feature, we have a long-time Network Member, as well as a recruiter who’s relatively new to both the industry and Top Echelon.

Pat McCombs, CPC of KB Search Team, LLC started recruiting in 1982.  She’s made 77 placements in Top Echelon Network since 1996.

Catherine Bateman, meanwhile, started recruiting in 2012 when she joined Network agency Woods & Paolino Recruiting Solutions.  Despite her overall lack of experience, Bateman has made eight split placements in Top Echelon Network in a little over a year.

Congratulations to these two outstanding Trading Partners!  Hopefully, this is the first of many split placements they’ll make together!

What’s the definition of being on a “split recruiting roll”?  Going from zero split placements to two split placements in just two months!

Split Network RecruitingThat’s what the Top Echelon Network recruiters in this installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments” have done, effectively setting themselves up to make even more split placements in the future.  (As opposed to the past, which would be, you know, impossible.)

You never know when “split placement lightning” will strike.  Unlike regular lightning, this type of lightning is likely to strike again . . . and again . . . and again.  And then maybe again.

The key, though, is to communicate with other Network recruiters, reach out to them, share your job orders and candidates, and keep networking.

Then YOU can be on a “split recruiting roll,” too!  (Yes, with a side of butter . . . and maybe throw in some mashed potatoes and gravy.  Mmmmm.)

Last week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, we highlighted Network recruiters Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc. and Mario Linale of Atlas Consulting Group, LLC.

Split Network RecruitingStuck and Linale have been on fire lately (not literally), to the tune of four Network placements in less than five months.  Well, this week we’re highlighting a pair of Network recruiters who have made four placements in a little more than FOUR months.

You might recognize them, since one of the recruiters, Robert Briones, CPC of R.A. Briones & Company, was also featured in last week’s issue of the newsletter.  In fact, his article generated quite a bit of interest, as well as comments by other Network recruiters, so check it out, if you haven’t already.

In the meantime, below are comments submitted by Briones regarding his split partner in these four placements: Sean Napoles, CPC of Career Brokers, Inc.

As for Napoles, he’s rather familiar with the concept of split placements.  After all, he’s made 182 of them in the Network . . .

In this week’s issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, we have irrefutable proof that you can enjoy tremendous success with a Top Echelon Network Trading Partner in a short amount of time.

Split RecruitingWe’ve highlighted the recruiters in this blog post before.  Those recruiters are Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc. and Mario Linale of Atlas Consulting Group, LLC.

They made three straight split placements earlier this year.  While one of those placements fell off, they responded by making two more!  (And that’s why we’re featuring them once again.)

That means they’ve made four split placements in less than five months.  Wouldn’t you like to enjoy that kind of production with ALL of your Trading Partners?

And Stuck and Linale are by no means finished.  There are still almost seven months remaining in 2013.  There’s a chance they could make 10 split placements total this year.

If you’d like to benefit from this type of Trading Partner relationship, call Top Echelon Network Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at (330) 455-1433, Ext. 156.

Michael StuckMario Linale“Mario and I hit another one together.  This is our third completed placement.  We have one more pending and one fell off, so that’s five all together since Mario contacted me only a few months ago to work together.  He is definitely a great Trading Partner.  Thanks for all your help, Mario.  Let’s keep this going!”

Michael StuckMario Linale“This is the fourth official split Mario and I have made together in the last four months, and it would have been number five if it weren’t for a fall-off.  I can’t say enough about what a great Trading Partner Mario is.  He is spectacular to work with.  Thanks again, Mario, for such outstanding candidates.”

(Editor’s note: This is the FOURTH split placement that Stuck and Linale have made together in Top Echelon Network.)

If you’re a new Preferred Member in Top Echelon Network and you want to find out how to enjoy quick success, then you would do well to read the story of Mario Linale of Atlas Consulting Group, LLC.

We recently chronicled how Linale made three split placements within six months of joining the Network, all three with fellow Preferred Member recruiter Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc.

'Comments' and Compliments ExtraIn that blog post, Stuck commented on those placements, and more specifically, about the various aspects of his Trading Partner relationship with Linale that work so well.  In this blog post, Linale describes those some aspects and also presents a blueprint for new Network recruiters to follow.

As for those recruiters who have been in the Network for quite some time, this story also serves as an example of how new Preferred Members can turn into great Trading Partners.  A year ago, you didn’t even know who they were, and now you’re making money with them.

And that’s the value that a split placement network like Top Echelon offers to recruiters.

— — —

Michael StuckMario Linale“My firm, Atlas Consulting Group, LLC is a new member of Top Echelon. We have really enjoyed our tenure so far and a large part of it is due to our interaction and successful partnership with Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group.

“This has been such a successful partnership primarily because of Michael’s professionalism and competency in managing his clients. We have functioned in a recruiting/sourcing capacity for positions with Michael’s clients. I can firmly state that when we work on a position for one of Michael’s clients, we know that we will always get feedback, usually an interview request and that the offers will come!  His positions are never the proverbial ‘black hole’ that unfortunately sometimes occurs in our industry, especially when partnering with other firms. We know that our work for Gables will never be a waste of time.

“Another factor in our success has been our constant communication. We are both on the same page when it comes to communicating the changing details of his positions and our candidates and we update each other in real time. I believe we are both truly passionate about our businesses, our reputations and getting deals done!

“Michael goes a step beyond also in his role of managing his clients and their positions, often he will also get involved in managing and communicating with our candidates. He always does what is appropriate in this regard and will not ‘step on our toes,’ but only help when necessary.

“We look forward to a long standing relationship with Michael Stuck, Gables Search Group and also working with other members of Top Echelon.”

At Top Echelon, we love it when recruiters enjoy quick success in the Network (usually defined by making a split placement with the first six to 12 months).

'Comments' and Compliments ExtraBut what if a recruiter made three split placements in their first six months?  And what if they made those three placements with the same Trading Partner, somebody with who they work extremely well?

That’s the case in this installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments Extra.”  Mario Linale of Atlas Consulting Group, LLC joined Top Echelon Network as a Preferred Member recruiter in October of 2012, and he promptly hit the ground running, with some help from Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc.

As a result, Linale has already received a tremendous return on this Network investment . . . and he’s only been a Preferred Member recruiter for six months.

That’s why there is no double that this is the beginning of a great split partner relationship!

(Below are Stuck’s thoughts regarding his Trading Partner relationship with Linale.  Click here for Linale’s comments.)

>Michael StuckMario Linale“This should have been my second placement with Mario.  Our first one was a fall-off three days before the guy was supposed to start.  It’s nice to get this second one so quickly to make up for losing the first one.  This is Mario’s first placement in TE, and he just joined the Network back in October.  What an ultimate pro you are, Mario, and a welcome addition to the Network.  We have a lot of other candidates in the works, so it’s only a matter of time before we get another one.  Great working with you!”

If you’re looking for two keys to enjoying success as a Preferred Member recruiter in Top Echelon Network, look no further.

'Comments' and Compliments ExtraThat’s because we have them!

Well, not us specifically, but the two recruiters we’re featuring in this installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments Extra.”  (We run “‘Comments’ and Compliments Extra” when two recruiters enjoyed a particular split placement experience so much that they both submit compliments about it.  In most cases, only one recruiter does so.)

In any event, as you can see by the comments below, “quick feedback” and “communication” throughout the process, but especially at the beginning, held the key to making this split placement happen.  Communication, of course, is one of the Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network.

That feedback and communication helped the process move more quickly, which means that the right candidate was found, presented, and hired more quickly . . . and that’s a happy ending for everybody!

If you’d like to compliment a Trading Partner in a more extensive manner regarding a split placement, email your comments and information to marketing@TopEchelon.com.

We’ve chronicled in the past how patience and persistence in recruiting can pay off.  And not just what could be considered a “normal” amount, either.  We’re talking about extraordinary levels of patience and persistence . . . like the levels involved in this story of Top Echelon Network split placement success.

The story, of course, involves two Preferred Member recruiters: Tom Heeney, CPC of Corporate Resources, LLC and Lloyd Shoemaker of Miami Professional Search, LLC.  All you really need to tell you about the split placement that Heeney and Shoemaker made is contained in the information listed below:

Job search: began one year and nine months ago in January of 2011
Job title: began as a Senior Design Engineer
Job title accepted: Lead Technical Support Engineer
Initial salary range: $50K-$60K + bonus, no relocation
Number of candidates interviewed: 34
Offer accepted: $84,500

'Comments' and Compliments ExtraEVERYTHING about this job order changed from the time that Heeney received it, from the job title to the initial salary range.  Not only that, but a total of 34 candidates were interviewed for the position.

However, because of the tenacity of the recruiters involved, they rode the ebb and flow of recruiting, hiring, and placement process, and now they’ve reaped the benefits of their seemingly endless patience and persistence.  The kicker is that this is the FIRST split placements that Heeney and Shoemaker have made together in Top Echelon Network . . . and what a memorable one it is.

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation, send your information to marketing@topechelon.com.  Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

Where to begin with this week’s installment of “Comments and Compliments“?  There’s just so much from which to choose.

First, we have two recruiters who have made four split placements together during the past two and a half years.

Second, we have two recruiters who have made five split placements during the past two and a half years.  (They’re not to be outdone, I suppose.)

'Comments' and ComplimentsObviously, they have Trading Partner relationships that are built for both speed AND endurance.  They believe in the process and they trust in each other’s abilities—as recruiters and as split partners.

The evidence is overwhelming, especially with references such as “phenomenal partner” and “a true search partner.”  These are the types of Trading Partners relationships that produce split placements year after year after year.

It’s been that way for the past 25 years, and it’s likely to be that way for the next 25 years, as well.

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation, send your information to marketing@topechelon.com.  Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Keep those “Comments”—and split placements—coming!
