Has Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiter Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group made it a goal to make a split placement with every single recruiter in Top Echelon Network?

Top-Producing RecruitersAt this rate, he might just do it.  Once again, Cameron is the Network’s “Recruiter of the Month” for the month, this time for July.  Of course, he also garnered “Recruiter of the Quarter” honors for his performance during the second quarter, when he made a total of nine split placements.

Cameron became a Preferred Member in January of 2003—almost 10 years ago—and so far, he’s made 133 Network placements and is rapidly approaching $1 million cash-in.  (In fact, it’s almost a foregone conclusion that he’ll reach that plateau by the end of this year.)

We recognize recruiters for both monthly and quarterly performance in three categories—“Recruiter of the Month,” “Recruiter of the Quarter,” and “Highest Split Placement Fee of the Month.”

Cameron was the only Preferred Member recruiter in the Network to make four split placements during the month of February.

In second place was Brenda Wylie-Biggs of KB Search Team, LLC with three split placements.  In third place was Stephanie McGinty of Ives & Associates, Inc. with two splits.  (Although other Members also had two splits, McGinty was third based on her total cash-in for those two splits.)

When you make nine placements in Top Echelon Network in the same quarter, there’s an excellent chance you’re going to be named “Recruiter of the Quarter.”

Top-Producing RecruitersWell, that happened during the second quarter.  The Preferred Member recruiter who accomplished the feat?  None other than Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group, the Network’s “Top-Producing Recruiter” in 2011.

Cameron, who’s currently atop the 2012 leader board, is well on his way to garnering the “Top-Producing” honors once again this year.

However, Cameron wasn’t part of the “Highest Split Placement Fee of the Quarter,” so he’s NOT involved in every award we announce . . . although sometimes it seems as though that’s the case.

Below are the winners of the recognition awards for the second quarter of this year.  We’d like to congratulate those recruiters who earned them and thank them for their efforts.

You’d think that Trey wouldn’t be able to top what he did during the first quarter (seven placements), but he did just that with a whopping nine placements during the second quarter.

Other recruiters enjoyed highly productive quarters, as well, including Maria Hemminger of MJ Recruiters, LLC (six placements) and Sean Napoles, CPC of Career Brokers, Inc. and Marc Tappis of Opportunity Search, Inc. (four placements apiece).

We have a new “Recruiter of the Month”!

Top-Producing RecruitersThat new recruiter is Juli Smith of The Smith Consulting Group, LLC.  Juli has been extremely productive in the Network since becoming a Preferred Member recruiter in 2006.  Since that time, she’s made 32 split placements.

In addition, Smith is a big proponent of Top Echelon Network conferences and conventions, and many of her splits have been the result of her attendance at these events.  We’d like to congratulate Julie, as well as the other recruiters mentioned in this month’s awards announcement!

And the “Recruiter of the Month” for the month of May is . . . Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group.

Kind of anti-climactic, isn’t it?  Trey has won this award more often than not for the better part of the past two years.

Top-Producing RecruitersIn fact, he’s won it so often, we should probably just re-name the award.  We’ll call it the “Trey Cameron Recruiter of the Month Award.”  Or maybe just the “Trey Cameron Award.”

Regardless, until somebody can dethrone Trey, he’ll continue to win “Recruiter of the Month” honors month after month after month.  While he’s not unbeatable, he’s certainly been on a roll as of late.

In fact, if you check the list of the Network’s Top Producers in the Members’ Area, you’ll notice that not only is Trey the number-one recruiter on the list, but his cash-in total for the past 12 months is nearly twice as much as the total for the second recruiter on the list.  Although no official records have been kept for verification purposes, there’s a good chance that’s never happened before in Top Echelon Network.

We’ll see what happens in June.  Maybe somebody will unseat Trey as “Recruiter of the Month” . . . but there’s always “Recruiter of the Quarter.”

Matt DeutschLast week, I presented the list of Preferred Member recruiters in Top Echelon Network who have made 100 placements or more.

This week, I’m presenting the list of Preferred Member recruiters who are “Million Dollar Producers” in Top Echelon Network.

Actually, you should pronounce it as follows: “Meeel-lion Dollar Producers,” much like Dr. Evil would do. You know, Dr. Evil . . . from the Austin Powers movies.  And why should you pronounce it that way?  Because it’s more fun, that’s why.

Besides, how many HR managers and gatekeepers would fit the “Dr. Evil” monikor?  The connection is there.  You just have to look closely.

Below is the list of the 11 recruiters who comprise “The Top Echelon Network Meeel-lion Dollar Producers Club.”  Some are no longer in the Network.  The names of those recruiters are in italics.

1. Bruce Ramstad of Bruce L. Ramstad

2. Jim Fitzpatrick of Fitzpatrick & Associates

3. Sean Napoles of Career Brokers, Inc.

4. Jim Bostic of The Bostic Group, Inc.

5. Dan Simmons of Continental Search & Outplacement, Inc.

6. Gary Silver of The Shay Group

7. Kate Bell of Bell & Associates

8. Chuck Szajkovics of First Search and Bulldog Recruiters, Inc.

9. Mike Zarnek of First Search

10. Al Katz of First Search

11. Dan Regan of Maxwell Marcus Corporate Recruiters

12. Elvin Erickson of Erickson & Associates, Inc.

13. Lou Michaels of Lou Michaels Associates, Inc.

As you can see, I’ve omitted the actual dollar amounts for the recruiters above.  However, you can access those amounts (for active Preferred Members) by logging into the Top Echelon Network software and viewing their respective Recruiter Profiles.

I should note that the top recruiter on the list, Bruce Ramstad, is actually close to $2 million in cash-in during his tenure as a Preferred Member.  I should also note that a handful of recruiters are closing in on the $1 million mark, including Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group.

In fact, if Trey keeps making placements at the rate he’s been making them over the past 18 months, he could reach the $1 meeel-lion plateau even sooner than we think.

Congratulations to everybody!

Matt DeutschAs you might have heard us mention a time or two, Top Echelon Network will be celebrating its 25th year of existence in 2013.

But why wait?  Let’s start celebrating right now!  There’s no time like the present!  Besides, there are some who say the world is going to end before 2013 even gets here, so let’s party like it’s 1999!  (Actually scratch that; my 1999 party wasn’t that great.)

Anyway, one of the things we’ll be doing to celebrate this milestone is recognize those recruiters who have accomplished tremendous milestones as Preferred Members of Top Echelon Network during the past 24+ years.  One of those milestones is making 100 placements.

And you might be interested to know—and I’m interested to tell you—that in the 24 years that Top Echelon Network has been in business, 24 recruiters have made 100 placements or more as Preferred Members.  Coincidence?  Maybe . . . probably . . . work with me here.

Below is the list of the 24 recruiters who comprise “The Top Echelon Network 100 Placement Club.”  Some are no longer in the Network.  The names of those recruiters are in italics.

1. Bruce Ramstad of Bruce L. Ramstad307
2. Gary Silver of The Shay Group224
3. Jim Bostic of The Bostic Group, Inc.—224
4. Jerry Walter of Walter & Associates, Inc.180
5. Jim Fitzpatrick of Fitzpatrick & Associates176
6. Dan Simmons of Continental Search & Outplacement, Inc.175
7. Dan Regan of Maxwell Marcus Corporate Recruiters—171
8. Sean Napoles of Career Brokers, Inc.164
9. Lou Michaels of Lou Michaels Associates, Inc.162
10. Kate Bell of Bell & Associates—157
11. Al Katz of First Search—152
12. Elvin Erickson of Erickson & Associates, Inc.—143
13. Allen Davis of SoftwareJobs.com, Inc.—140
14. Heidi Kay of Kay Concepts, Inc.—135 (currently with another Preferred Member firm)
15. Richard Lechtenberg of Dick Berg & Associates—131
16. Colleen Switala of Database Search, Inc.—123
17. Donna Carroll of Systems Personnel122
18. Terry Rhodes of newcareers122
19. Bill Williams—114
20. Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group124
21. Johnny Winn The Anchor Group—106
22. Antoinette Andrews of Quantum Advantage, Inc.—104
23. Joyce Gray of Rhodes International, Inc.—101
24. David Kersey of Kersey & Associates, Inc.100

Twenty-four recruiters in 24 years.  So the question is this one: how close is the next recruiter to reaching the 100-placement plateau?

The next recruiter is Steve Brody of Executive Resource Systems.  Not only is Steve a Charter Member, but he’s made 96 Network placements to date.  If he can make four more, he’ll become the 25th recruiter to make 100 placements in Top Echelon Network.

How fitting would that be?

So, Steve—we’re rooting for you.  We wish you split placement success.  And you know, if you can make your 100th before next March, that would be great.

No pressure, though . . . just thinking out loud.  You understand.

Actually, it’s not that much of a surprise that Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group is the “Recruiter of the Month.”  After all, he’s won that award more often than not over the course of the past 12 to 18 months.

Top-Producing RecruitersHowever, this time the margin of victory was far smaller for Trey, who had to edge out two other recruiters for the top honor.  Remember, the number of split placements that a Preferred Member recruiter makes is just one of the determining factors.

The second factor is the amount of cash-in that those split placements produce.  It just so happens that Trey’s cash-in total for the month is what pushed him over the top and garnered him yet another recognition award.

In addition, Trey currently sits atop the Network as the Top Producing Recruiter, with a sizeable lead on the rest of the Top 10.

We recognize recruiters for both monthly and quarterly performance in two categories—“Recruiter of the Month” and “Highest Split Placement Fee of the Month.”

Remember, for more information about the placements and cash-in totals associated with these awards, please login to the Members’ Area and view the profiles and placement details of the recruiters involved.

Maria Hemminger's Chocolates

Ask and ye shall receive.  Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiters Maria Hemminger and Joanna Spaun of MJ Recruiters, LLC commented that Trading Partner Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group owed her chocolate due to the fact that their firm has placed so many of his candidates.

As you can see by the photo above, Cameron came through!  And he left no doubt as to how much he appreciates Hemminger and Spaun’s efforts, specifically the fact that the two firms have now made five split placements in the Network, three so far this year.

If you’ve thanked a Trading Partner in a unique way (or have been the one being thanked), we want to know about it.  Send your information—and accompanying photo, if possible—to marketing@TopEchelon.com.

Trey Cameron is NOT the “Recruiter of the Month”!  Why in the world is that significant?  Because he’s seemed to be the winner of the award nearly every month for the past year.

Top-Producing RecruitersIn fact, Cameron was the “Recruiter of the Quarter” for the first quarter, as we reported in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog last week.  However, we have a new “Recruiter of the Month” for the month of March, and you’ve probably guessed by reading the headline to this blog post that the recruiter in question is David Wick, CPC of Career Center of Cincinnati, Inc.

Needless to say, Cameron was in the running for the award . . . and so was the other recruiter in his office, Gene McQueen.  McQueen was also part of the other recognition award for the month of March, which isn’t surprising, since that placement also garnered him the same award for the first quarter of the year.

The first quarter of 2012 is over!  What does that mean?  That there are three more quarters to go . . . and we have some awards to announce.

Top-Producing RecruitersHowever, there are some “old faces” located within this blog post.  One of them is Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group, who has continued the torrid pace he set in 2011.  Another recruiter gaining recognition for his performance during the first quarter is Gene McQueen, also of the Cameron Craig Group.  McQueen not only was in the running for the “Recruiter of the Quarter” award, but he was also part of the “Highest Split Placement Fee of the Quarter” award.

So while last year was a big one for the Cameron Craig Group, this year is shaping up to be not too shabby, either.  Can somebody dethrone Trey Cameron during the second quarter?  Time—and split placements—will tell the tale.

In the meantime, below are the winners of the recognition awards for the first quarter of this year.  We’d like to congratulate those recruiters who earned them and thank them for their efforts.  For more information about the placements and cash-in totals associated with these recognition awards, please login to the Members’ Area and view the profiles and placement details of the recruiters involved.
