Every week, when we run the split placements, we like to highlight recruiters who’ve made more than two placements in a single week.  After all, making one Network placement is cause for celebration, but two?  Break out the party favors!

Recent PlacementsThis week, we have one recruiter and one firm that have accomplished the feat.  The recruiter is Marc Tappis of Opportunity Search, Inc., and the firm is Continental Search & Outplacement, Inc.  The recruiters who made split placements and are part of Continental Search are Dan Simmons, CPC and Jim Hipskind, CPC.

All three of these recruiters have been models of production during their tenures as Top Echelon Network Preferred Members, and that includes this year.  So far in 2012, Tappis has made five Network placements, Simmons has made four, and Hipskind has made one (he also made three in 2011).

Those are just three of the many recruiters who made placements this week.  In fact, it looks like we’ll need more party favors.  Hold on just a second . . .

Summer’s almost here . . . at least as far as the calendar is concerned.

But why wait?  Let’s have a “Summer Split Placement Party” right now!  After all, the weather’s nice, and a bunch of Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiters were good enough to make split placements this week (see below).

Recent PlacementsAs you can see, there’s a variety of reasons for the split placements we’re highlighting this week.  A third of them can be attributed to Hiring Hook Websites, while over half of them are the result of regular communication between Trading Partners.  (That makes sense, of course, since Communication is one of the Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network.)

The truth be told, anytime is a good time for a “Split Placement Party.”  It doesn’t have to be summer—although it certainly helps if you want to go swimming . . . which I don’t . . . but thanks for asking.

So keep making split placements.  I’ll put some steaks on the grill and fill up the cooler.  We’ll party hearty.

A while back, we reported that a total of 24 recruiters have made 100 placements or more in Top Echelon Network.

We also reported that a recruiter was close to being the 25th recruiter to accomplish the feat.  That recruiter is Steve Brody of Executive Resource Systems.

Recent PlacementsAt the time, Steve had 95 Network placements, but he recently made another one.  While it’s true that the placement in question was a Hiring Hook  recruitment website design placement, Steve is a Preferred Member, so he reported it for Frequent Placer Point (FPP) purposes.

However, that also pushed him to 96 placements, meaning that he’s one step closer to being the 25th recruiters with 100 or more placements—right before Top Echelon Network celebrates its 25th anniversary!

Steve wasn’t alone, though.  Below are all of this week’s placements.

There’s a good chance you know of a game show by the name of The Price is Right.  This means you also know that at the beginning of each round, the show’s next contestant is introduced in grand fashion by the announcer, who loudly proclaims:

“[Your name here], come on down!  You’re the next contestant on The Price is Right!

Recent PlacementsThe Pinnacle Newsletter Blog isn’t a game show, and it doesn’t play one on TV, either.  However, when we see a Top Echelon Network recruiter has made two split fee recruiting placements in the same week, we sit up and take notice.  (Most of the time, though, we’re just slouched in front of our computer screens, watching The Price is Right.)

There is just such a recruiter in this week’s installment of split placements.  This recruiter has been a Preferred Member in Top Echelon Network since 2007.  He’s been a regular attendee at Network conferences.  He’s already made five split placements in 2012.

Travis Jones, come on down!  You’re the next recruiter to be highlighted in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!”

(And no, none of “Barker’s Beauties” will be making an appearance.  I apologize for this egregious oversight.)

Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group may be the “Recruiter of the Month” for April.  He may be the Top Producing Recruiter right now in Top Echelon Network.  He may have been the Top Producing Recruiter for the 2011 calendar year.

But this is a new year, and the last thing you want to do is forget about THIS guy.  THIS guy is Sean Napoles, CPC of Career Brokers, Inc.

Recent PlacementsSean is currently #2 in the Network in terms of cash-in, and during his long tenure as a Preferred Member, he’s won a boatload of awards (the quantity wasn’t tested with an actual boat, but you understand), including the coveted Top Producing Recruiter award.

This week’s listing of Top Echelon Network split placements include two splits involving Sean, and with Information Technology as hot as it is right now, you can expect many more from Sean.

You can also rest assured that he’ll give Trey a run for his money before 2012 is over.

All networking between Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiters does NOT take place over the phone.  In fact, some of the most effective networking does not.

Members often network at events like the upcoming 2012 Fall Conference and 2013 National Convention . . . yes, that’s a hint . . . we want you to register for both . . . we’re shameless.

Recent PlacementsNetworking can also occur on the golf course, and that was the case for two of the Preferred Member recruiters included in this week’s installment of Completed Split Placements.  Those two recruiters are Russell Schutt, CSP of Progressive Executive, Inc. and Jim Folger of ONESource Technical, Inc.

But wait—there’s more!  (Of course there’s more.)

We also have a Preferred Member recruiter who’s made two split placements this week, each one with a different Trading Partner.  That recruiter is Greg Downs of Downs Associates, who is quietly productive in Top Echelon Network, making a total of seven split placements since January of 2011.

So remember, it doesn’t matter where you network (like for instance, the 2012 Fall Conference), it’s just important to network . . . because split placements will more than likely follow.

It’s a documented fact that blog readers don’t like blog posts that are too long, which makes them scroll down the page a lot in order to read the whole post.

But when it comes to split placements, we’re willing to bet that you won’t mind as much.

Recent PlacementsAfter all, there are few things more interesting in knowing which top recruiters are making placements, what industries they’re making placements in, and what kind of positions they’re filling.

That’s exactly what we have this week—a long blog post filled with recent split placements made by Preferred Member recruiters in the Network, and we’re more than happy to publish them.

That’s right . . . bring on the split placements!

In fact, we hope this is just the beginning.  We hope that we’ll be publishing TWICE as many split placements as this in the near future.

Actually, we hope you all get carpal tunnel syndrome because of all the scrolling you’ll be doing while looking at the split placements each week.  (Well, maybe not.  But then again . . .)

Recent PlacementsThere are many, many ways that Preferred Member recruiters can make split placements in Top Echelon Network—and this Pinnacle Newsletter Blog post illustrates that!

In fact, it’s a veritable “grab bag” of split placement action . . . perhaps for want of a better phrase.  But nonetheless, all the split placements listed below happened for different reasons.  In other words, they all had different catalysts.

This blog post is also further evidence that if you do the things that lead most directly to making split placements, you increase the chances that you’re going to make split placements.  It sounds simple, but it really IS that simple:

  • Communicate regularly with Trading Partners.
  • Search the Top Echelon Network Split Databases.
  • Use the Job Order Alerts and Candidate Alerts.
  • Make your firm’s website a Hiring Hook Website.

And these are just some of the things that you can do to increase your chances of making split placements and adding revenue to your firm’s bottom line.  Yes, that’s right, you guessed it—there’s more.  But that’s a blog post for another day . . .

If there’s one thing we like at Top Echelon Network, it’s excitement about making split placements.  We like banana splits a lot, too, but let’s stay focused, shall we?  We like it when our Preferred Member recruiters get excited about making split placements.

(You know the kind of banana splits I’m talking about, with vanilla, chocolate AND strawberry ice cream—never mind.)

Recent PlacementsAnyway, in this week’s installment of split placements made by Preferred Member recruiters in Top Echelon Network, we find that type of excitement.  Specifically, we find it displayed by Steve Copeland of Albert Energy, LLC, who was extraordinarily complimentary of his Trading Partner in a split placement situation: Jeff Gilbert of Kingfish Technology, LLC.

That was just one of nine split placements made by Preferred Member recruiters this week—and all nine of them are listed below.  While we might not know exactly how excited every recruiter is about the split placement they made, what we do know is that revenue generated by these placements could buy a whole lot of banana splits.

(And you gotta put whipped cream and nuts on top, and holy cow, don’t forget the cherry . . . wait a minute, where was I?)

.

April showers usually bring May flowers, but there might not be too many showers in April this year . . . not if the month of March was any indication.  No, the weather has been downright balmy so far this Spring (and even toward the end of Winter), and as the weather continues to warm up, so are split placements within Top Echelon Network.

Recent PlacementsThis week, we have seven split placements in the Network, and with Summer looming on the horizon, the possibility exists that we may be venturing into double-digit territory every week.  Triple-digit temperatures and double-digit split placements?  There are worse things in the world, that’s for sure.

Once again, we have a mixture of both old and new blood in this week’s split placement installment.  Among the new blood is a pair of recruiters (Greg Johnson and Chip Kerth, CPC) who not only made their first split as Preferred Members, but they also made that split together, placing an Assistant Treasurer in the process.

Ultimately, though, it doesn’t matter: old, new, or in between, making placements gets the blood pumping.  So here’s hoping that the temperature—and the number of split placements made by Network recruiters—continues to rise in the months ahead.

THIS WEEK’S COMPLETED SPLIT PLACEMENTS!
