Are we “beating a dead horse,” for want of a better phrase?  (Actually, can we even say that anymore?  Is that taboo?)

I’m referring to the fact that Network recruiters who attended the recent 2013 Top Echelon Network National Convention continue to make split placements—and we continue to highlight them (and their placements).

Well, if they wouldn’t make so many placements, then we wouldn’t highlight them so much.

Okay, so we’re not “beating a dead horse.”  Instead, we’re “beating the drum” for attending Top Echelon Network conferences and conventions, and we’re doing it because that apparently leads to an avalanche of placements.  (Can we say “avalanche”?  Isn’t that a term associated with disaster?)

Well, what we KNOW we can say, with absolute certainty, is that if you attend the Top Echelon Network Fall Conference in October, you’ll dramatically increase your chances of making more placements. These recruiter conferences can be great.

Below are the positions that were recently filled by Network recruiters (the names of recruiters who attended the 2013 National Convention are italicized):

  • Recent PlacementsClient Technical Architect Visionary
  • Accounting Manager
  • EHSQ Director
  • Supply Chain Director
  • SQA Engineer
  • Maintenance Manager
  • Safety Manager

If you work within the above industries and would like to know how you can make split placements in Top Echelon Network, contact Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at (330) 455-1433, Ext. 156.

Why are we calling this the “2013 National Convention Edition” of split placements in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog?

Because in all of the split placements listed below, at least one of the recruiters involved attended the 2013 Top Echelon Network National Convention in Florida last week.

In fact, in two of the placements, BOTH of the recruiters involved attended the convention.  Not only that, but some of the recruiters involved in these split placements who didn’t attend the convention DID attend a Top Echelon event in the past.

This is no mere coincidence.  This is hard evidence that Top Echelon recruiter networking conferences and conventions provide value for those who attend them.  And to help you sift through the evidence, the names of the recruiters below who attended the 2013 National Convention have been italicized.

As you can see, the evidence speaks for itself.

Below are the positions that were recently filled by Network recruiters:

  • Recent PlacementsSoftware Engineer
  • Support Analyst

Top Echelon Network recruiter Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc. is moving up the Top Producer rankings (currently #4 overall), and he has plenty of great stories on the way up.

In fact, here are three that were recently published in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

And guess what?  We have two more stories from Stuck about split placements that he’s made with other Network recruiters.

'Comments' and ComplimentsAs a bonus, the placements mark the first time that Stuck has closed a Network deal with these recruiters.  That means new Trading Partners, which means more split placements in the future.

Stuck is a recruiter who believes in the Network system, who works it every day with enthusiasm, and who attends Top Echelon’s networking events.  (He was at the National Convention this past weekend!)

That’s why he’s a Top Producer, why he’s made 14 Network placements in the past year, and why he has a ton of great recruiting stories.

Is your story next?

If YOU have a recruiting story about a recent split placement with another Network recruiter, send your comments to marketing@topechelon.com, and they’ll appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Since it’s baseball season, it’s only appropriate that we talk about the “Cal Ripken, Jr.” of Top Echelon Network.

Ripken played his entire Major League Baseball career with the Baltimore Orioles, setting the league record for most consecutive games played at 2,632.  Now that’s consistency.

Recent PlacementsSean Napoles, CPC of Career Brokers, Inc. has also maintained an incredibly high level of consistency in the Network during the past 10 years, winning numerous awards in the process.  To date, Napoles has made 176 Network placements for a cash-in total of over $1.5 million.

Of those 176 split placements, he’s made 16 of them with Wendy Johnson of CPS and Professionals Incorporated, including one in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.  As one might suspect, Napoles has made multiple placements with numerous Network recruiters down through the years.

Napoles’s split placement with Johnson is one of two that he has in this week’s issue, and it’s also one of seven that he’s made already in the Network in 2013.  If anybody’s going to catch Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group before the end of the year, it’s going to be the “Cal Ripken, Jr.” of Top Echelon Network.

Below are the positions that were recently filled by Network recruiters:

  • Recent PlacementsIT Project Manager
  • SAP Bi Dev
  • Manager of Product Automation
  • Operations Manager – Industrial Manufacturing
  • RN/Director of Clinical Services – Hospice
  • Software Engineer – Progress (two of them!)

Question: What’s the quickest way to get special mention in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog?

Answer: Make two (or more placements) in one week.

Of course to do that, you just have to send us the checks for two split placements at the same time . . . just like Network recruiter Amy Dunn of Technology Recruiting Solutions in Houston, Texas did recently!

That’s why we’re highlighting Dunn, one of the top recruiters who has made 24 split placements during her time as a Preferred Member recruiter in Top Echelon Network.  That total includes five placements in 2011 and six placements in 2012.

Dunn specializes in the permanent placement of Information Technology, Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, and occasional Sales and Marketing professionals nationwide.  Be sure to visit her Recruiter Profile for more information.

After you do that, we invite you to check out all of the positions that were recently filled through the joint effort of Top Echelon Network recruiters:

  • Recent PlacementsBusiness Analyst – Financial Systems
  • Senior .NET Developer
  • Risk Manager
  • Maintenance Technician
  • Production Supervisor

If you have any questions about how YOU can make more split placements in Top Echelon Network and generate more revenue for your recruiting firm, contact Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at (330) 455-1433, Ext. 156.

We are all connected . . . by the “great circle of split placements”!

Okay, so that phrase didn’t originate from a Disney animated film that grossed hundreds of millions of dollars.  However, it was the product of this week’s placements in Top Echelon Network.

That’s because we featured Network recruiter Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc. in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, and he recently made a split placement with Network recruiter Laurie Gillespie of Dayspring & Associates.

Gillespie, meanwhile, has not one, but TWO split placements in this week’s issue of The Pinnacle.

Does that seem more like a triangle to you than a circle, maybe even an isosceles triangle?  Unfortunately, the “great isosceles triangle of split placements” doesn’t make much sense.

While I try to figure this out, please peruse the list of positions that were recently filled by Top Echelon Network recruiters:

  • Recent PlacementsSoftware Engineer – Progress
  • Datastage Systems Consultant
  • Polymer Research Engineer
  • Data Analytics & Visualization Analyst
  • HR Manager
  • Web Developer/Programmer
  • Project Manager
  • Key Account Sales – Central

Do you work within the industries and disciplines represented by these positions?  If so, then we might be featuring YOUR split placement next!

If you have any questions about circles, triangles, or how you can make placements in Top Echelon Network, contact Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at (330) 455-1433, Ext. 156.

Everybody loves a good story . . . especially a good recruiting story.

This week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, we don’t have just one or even two good recruiting stories—we have three!  That trio of headhunting tales is courtesy of Top Echelon Network recruiter Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc.

'Comments' and ComplimentsThere are many things that make these stories great:

  • All three were the first split placement that Stuck made with the other recruiters involved (Kevin Bautista, Steve Strickland, and Terry Rhodes).
  • In two of the three situations, the other recruiter was making their first split placement in Top Echelon Network (Bautista and Rhodes).
  • One of the splits involved the placement of a Chief Executive Officer, which brought with it a rather hefty fee.
  • Each split placement exemplifies the teamwork associated with high-quality Trading Partner relationships in the Network.

We’d like to thank Stuck for submitting his comments and for helping us to highlight these split placements—and these three great recruiting stories!

If YOU have a great recruiting story regarding a recent split placement with another Network recruiter, send your comments to marketing@topechelon.com, and they’ll appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

The great thing about Trading Partner relationships in Top Echelon Network is that once you reach a certain point, the placements just start to flow.

Take, for example, two of the recruiters highlighted in this week’s placements—Patrick Staudacher and Sean Napoles.

Staudacher and Napoles have made seven split placements during the past two years, and two of those occurred recently.  This is just more evidence of the fact that once you make one split placement with another Preferred Member recruiter, many more can follow.

Below is the list of positions that were filled this past week by Network recruiters:

  • Recent PlacementsSAP Analyst SD
  • SAP Manager
  • Director of Purchasing
  • Chief Executive Officer
  • Vice President – Assistant Controller
  • Product Engineering Manager
  • Software Developer
  • Process Engineer

Are you looking to fill positions just like these?  Do you work with candidates who have these titles?  Then YOU can make placements in Top Echelon Network.

If you have questions about how you can make placements in Top Echelon Network, contact Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at (330) 455-1433, Ext. 156.

Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERSWe have an epidemic on our hands . . . an epidemic of recruiters making split placements because they met at the 2012 Top Echelon Network Fall Conference!

We’ve been chronicling these placements during the last several weeks, first to give the recruiters involved some publicity and second to underscore the value associated with attending events like the Fall Conference . . .

And the upcoming 2013 National Convention.

Is St. Petersburg Beach a nice place to hold a convention?  Of course.  Will you gain knowledge by listening to our great lineup of speakers (Danny Cahill, Amy Bingham, and Bob Marshall)?  Of course.

But what’s the main reason to attend this convention, the reason that promises the most value and holds the most potential?

The opportunity to meet recruiters you’ve never met before (specifically within your industry and/or niche), to form Trading Partner relationships with those recruiters, and then to make money with those recruiters!

Sound too good to be true?  It’s not.  The evidence of this “split placement epidemic” is mounting, and there’s more of it below.

— — —

Deb NorthKristy Jones“I met Kristy at the Chicago conference and could tell immediately that she is a real pro.  We have a very similiar ‘style,’ and it’s great working together.  I anticipate more placements for she and I in the future!”

Submitted by Deb North of Deb North Consulting, LLC regarding her split placement with Kristy Bellingham Jones of Jones-Ingham Exec and Sales Recruiting

Position Title—SUPPORT ANALYST
Fee Percentage—25%

(Editor’s note: this is the first split placement that North and Jones have made together in Top Echelon Network.)

The 2013 Top Echelon Network National Convention is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, through Saturday, April 27, at the TradeWinds Resort Hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Click here to see who is already registered for the convention.  One (or more) of these recruiters could be your next Trading Partner.  Three or four months from now, you could be making a split placement—or maybe even two, like Joe Noto and Anjela Mangrum.

What are you waiting for?  Go to Florida, find Trading Partners, and make money!

Register for the 2013 National Convention!

Many of you probably know what a “runner’s high” is.  According to Dictionary.com, it’s “a state of euphoria experienced during prolonged running or other forms of aerobic, sustained exercise, attributed to an increase of endorphins in the blood.”

But really, who wants to go running?  Why not just make split fee recruiting network placements instead?

'Comments' and ComplimentsAfter all, you have to figure that at least the same amount of endorphins are released into your bloodstream when you make a placement as when you run five miles.  Not only that, but when you make a placement, you don’t feel like you’re going to throw up and/or pass out.

As you can see below, the recruiters in this week’s installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments” aren’t enjoying a “runner’s high” . . . they’re enjoying a “placement high”!

They’ve made spit placements with other Preferred Member recruiters in situations where they might not have made a placement at all, and the endorphins are coursing through their bloodstream as we speak.  Not only that, but the only place they have to run to is the bank—to deposit their placement check before it closes.

Then they can come back home and eat chocolates on the sofa while watching re-runs of Three’s Company.  Not that I do that or anything . . . I’m just sayin’.

Remember, if you’d like to compliment one of your recruiting network Trading Partners for a recent split placement, send your comments to marketing@topechelon.com, and they’ll appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.
