It’s not even August yet, but this might go down as the hottest summer ever . . . in the history of ever.  (And if it doesn’t, I’m sure it will be near the top of the charts.)

Recent PlacementsOver half of the country might be experiencing a drought right now, but Top Echelon Network Preferred Members aren’t experiencing a drought as far as split placements are concerned.  In fact, our forecast calls for clear skies, intense heat, and a 100% chance of split placements!

Our forecast is much more fun than the one your meteorologist delivers on a daily basis.

However, rather than predict exactly who is going to make splits in the next week or even month, we have the weekly list of who’s already made split placements, and that list is detailed below.  So, rather than a weather forecast, this is more like . . . a crop report.

Okay, enough with the weather and farming metaphors.  These people made splits and collected fees they probably would not have collected otherwise.  Kudos all around . . .

THIS WEEK’S COMPLETED SPLIT PLACEMENTS!

When you make nine placements in Top Echelon Network in the same quarter, there’s an excellent chance you’re going to be named “Recruiter of the Quarter.”

Top-Producing RecruitersWell, that happened during the second quarter.  The Preferred Member recruiter who accomplished the feat?  None other than Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group, the Network’s “Top-Producing Recruiter” in 2011.

Cameron, who’s currently atop the 2012 leader board, is well on his way to garnering the “Top-Producing” honors once again this year.

However, Cameron wasn’t part of the “Highest Split Placement Fee of the Quarter,” so he’s NOT involved in every award we announce . . . although sometimes it seems as though that’s the case.

Below are the winners of the recognition awards for the second quarter of this year.  We’d like to congratulate those recruiters who earned them and thank them for their efforts.

For more information about the placements and cash-in totals associated with these recognition awards, please login to the Members’ Area and view the profiles and placement details of the recruiters involved.

Trey CameronRecruiter of the Quarter
Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group

You’d think that Trey wouldn’t be able to top what he did during the first quarter (seven placements), but he did just that with a whopping nine placements during the second quarter.

Other recruiters enjoyed highly productive quarters, as well, including Maria Hemminger of MJ Recruiters, LLC (six placements) and Sean Napoles, CPC of Career Brokers, Inc. and Marc Tappis of Opportunity Search, Inc. (four placements apiece).

— — —

Steve CopelandJeff GilbertHighest Split Placement Fee of the Quarter
Steve Copeland of Albert Energy, LLC and Jeff Gilbert of Kingfish Technology, LLC

This placement was for a Global Alliance Program Director.  Copeland was the job order recruiter, and Gilbert was the candidate recruiter.  The action causing this split placement was listed as, “Regular communication with another Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiter in my specialty area.”

— — —

Our criteria for these recognition awards:

Top Echelon Network is a split placement network.  As such, we place an emphasis on split placements, and that emphasis constitutes the basis of our criteria for these recognition awards.  We determine the quarterly award winners based upon two factors, which are listed below in order of importance:

1.) The number of split placements made
2.) The amount of cash-in dollars earned as a result of those split placements

In other words, the number of split placements that recruiters make is our first consideration.  In the event of a tie, the cash-in total earned from those split placements is the deciding factor and serves to break the tie.  Obviously, the recruiter with more cash-in dollars in the event of a tie is the recruiter who wins the recognition award.

Just a little over 45 years ago, the musical group The Doors released its debut album (named, as might have guessed, The Doors).  On that album—sadly, there were no iPods back then—was a song by the title of “Break on Through (to the Other Side).”

What the heck does this have to do with anything, much less our “‘Comments’ and Compliments” feature?

'Comments' and ComplimentsWell, plenty, since the recruiters we’re featuring this week are making their first split placements with each other.  In fact, one of the recruiters involved made her first placement as a Preferred Member recruiter in Top Echelon Network.  Congratulations, Jeri Bartunek!

Why link split placements to a Doors song?  Because we want you humming the song all day, that’s why.  No, actually, because recruiters are making split placements with new Trading Partners all the time, on an almost weekly basis.

They’re “breaking on through to the other side” and as a result, cashing placement checks they probably wouldn’t be cashing otherwise . . . and of course, they’re complimenting one another for it.

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation, send your information to marketing@topechelon.com. Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

“Break on through to the other side . . . break on through to the other side . . .”

We have a new “Recruiter of the Month”!

Top-Producing RecruitersThat new recruiter is Juli Smith of The Smith Consulting Group, LLC.  Juli has been extremely productive in the Network since becoming a Preferred Member recruiter in 2006.  Since that time, she’s made 32 split placements.

In addition, Smith is a big proponent of Top Echelon Network conferences and conventions, and many of her splits have been the result of her attendance at these events.  We’d like to congratulate Julie, as well as the other recruiters mentioned in this month’s awards announcement!

— — —

Juli SmithRecruiter of the Month
Juli Smith of The Smith Consulting Group, LLC

Juli was the only Preferred Member recruiter in the Network to make three split placements during the month of June.

Three recruiters made two split placements apiece. They were Daniel L. Williams of The Williams Company; Karen Akbal-Sturgeon of KLA Industries; Peter Oettinger of Front Line Solutions, LLC; and Maria Hemminger of MJ Recruiters, LLC.

— — —

Veronica SnyderHighest Split Placement Fee of the Month
Veronica Snyder of Career Professionals, Inc. and Joe Pelayo of Joseph Michaels International

The position for this placement was a Plant Manager. Veronia was the job order recruiter, and Joe was the candidate recruiter. The action that stimulated this placement was listed as “The job order or candidate was found by searching the Member’s Area.”

There aren’t many recruiters in the Network who have been enjoying as much success together recently as the ones highlighted in this week’s installment of “‘Comments and Compliments.'”

Those recruiters are Steve Kane of Bio-Partners Search Group, LLC and Stephanie McGinty of Ives & Associates, Inc.

'Comments' and ComplimentsKane and Ives made yet another split placement together recently, their second of 2012.  Their first placement this year was an Associate Director of Market Research, while their most recent split was for an Associate Director of Global Market Research.

So far, Kane and Ives have made five split placements together in the Network.  The really good news: the average fee for those five splits is well over $30,000.  It might be accurate to say that these two recruiters are “on fire” . . . though not literally.

That’s not all we have this week, either!  That’s because David Kersey of Kersey & Associates, Inc. made his 101st placement as a Preferred Member recruiter in Top Echelon Network.  Congratulations to Dave, Steve, Stephanie, and everybody else who made placements this week

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation, send your information to marketing@topechelon.com. Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

With the exception of the Cameron Craig Group, no Preferred Member recruiting firm in Top Echelon Network is churning out split placements as quickly as MJ Recruiters, LLC.

Recent PlacementsMaria Hemminger and Joanna Spaun are the twin engines that keep MJ Recruiters firing on all cylinders, and their hard work is once again represented in this week’s split placements in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Since January of 2012, MJ Recruiters has accounted for 11 split placements.  Projected over the course of the year, that total will be well over 20 splits.

So this week, we’d like to congratulate MJ Recruiters for their hard work and success as Preferred Member recruiters . . . by presenting “The Maria and Jo Split Placement Show.”  It’s a show that should continue running for quite a while . . .

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been a recruiter.

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been a Preferred Member of Top Echelon Network.

'Comments' and ComplimentsYou can still make split placements with recruiters you haven’t made split placements with before.  Take, for instance, the recruiters featured in this week’s installments of “‘Comments’ and Compliments.”

These recruiters have been highly successful, both inside and outside of the Network.  However, they haven’t made a split placement with one another.  Up until now.

The fact of the matter is that you just never know where your next split placement in Top Echelon Network is going to come from.  It could be the result of a new Trading Partner relationship . . . and where there’s one split placement, there could be many!

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation, send your information to marketing@topechelon.com.  Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

Every week, when we run the split placements, we like to highlight recruiters who’ve made more than two placements in a single week.  After all, making one Network placement is cause for celebration, but two?  Break out the party favors!

Recent PlacementsThis week, we have one recruiter and one firm that have accomplished the feat.  The recruiter is Marc Tappis of Opportunity Search, Inc., and the firm is Continental Search & Outplacement, Inc.  The recruiters who made split placements and are part of Continental Search are Dan Simmons, CPC and Jim Hipskind, CPC.

All three of these recruiters have been models of production during their tenures as Top Echelon Network Preferred Members, and that includes this year.  So far in 2012, Tappis has made five Network placements, Simmons has made four, and Hipskind has made one (he also made three in 2011).

Those are just three of the many recruiters who made placements this week.  In fact, it looks like we’ll need more party favors.  Hold on just a second . . .

What does the book The Three Musketeers and Top Echelon Network have in common?  Nothing, really.

But that’s not going to stop ME from making a connection.

The slogan of the Three Musketeers, of course, was “All for one, and one for all.”  Well, I’m going to tweak that slogan slightly for Network purposes.  Why?  Why not?

'Comments' and ComplimentsNot only that, but the recruiters in this week’s installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments” are making their first split placement with one another, proving that once again, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in the Network: you can still make splits with new recruiters.

So let’s change the slogan to “One for all, and all for one” . . . split placement, that is.  The truth be told, though, these recruiters probably won’t stop at one split—and of course, that’s a good thing.

They’ll make as many split placements together as they can, because once you make one, it’s easier to make more.

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation, send your information to marketing@topechelon.com.  Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!
