Every month, every quarter, and every year, more and more Top Echelon Network recruiters make placements with their Hiring Hook recruitment website development.

That’s because they have access to the Network Jobs Feed and that allows them to post other Network recruiters’ jobs on their website.  Then, qualified candidates visit their site, see the job openings, and apply for them.

In 2012, 13.5% of all placements made in Top Echelon Network were because of a Hiring Hook website.  That’s the highest percentage of website placements in the Network . . . like, ever.

And that’s not a trend that’s likely to reverse itself anytime soon.  More and more people search for jobs online and apply for jobs online.  If you haven’t optimized your firm’s online presence with a Hiring Hook website, you could be missing out on placement opportunities.

So contact us today to find out more about what Hiring Hook can do for you and your firm.  In the meanwhile, below are the positions that were recently filled by Top Echelon Network recruiters (some with the help of their Hiring Hook website):

  • Recent PlacementsProcurement Specialist
  • Material Scheduler
  • Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
  • Manager, Accounts Payable
  • Sales Manager

If you work within the industries and disciplines represented by these positions and want to know how you can make split placements in the Network, contact Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at (330) 455-1433, Ext. 156.

If you’re a new Preferred Member in Top Echelon Network and you want to find out how to enjoy quick success, then you would do well to read the story of Mario Linale of Atlas Consulting Group, LLC.

We recently chronicled how Linale made three split placements within six months of joining the Network, all three with fellow Preferred Member recruiter Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc.

'Comments' and Compliments ExtraIn that blog post, Stuck commented on those placements, and more specifically, about the various aspects of his Trading Partner relationship with Linale that work so well.  In this blog post, Linale describes those some aspects and also presents a blueprint for new Network recruiters to follow.

As for those recruiters who have been in the Network for quite some time, this story also serves as an example of how new Preferred Members can turn into great Trading Partners.  A year ago, you didn’t even know who they were, and now you’re making money with them.

And that’s the value that a split placement network like Top Echelon offers to recruiters.

— — —

Michael StuckMario Linale“My firm, Atlas Consulting Group, LLC is a new member of Top Echelon. We have really enjoyed our tenure so far and a large part of it is due to our interaction and successful partnership with Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group.

“This has been such a successful partnership primarily because of Michael’s professionalism and competency in managing his clients. We have functioned in a recruiting/sourcing capacity for positions with Michael’s clients. I can firmly state that when we work on a position for one of Michael’s clients, we know that we will always get feedback, usually an interview request and that the offers will come!  His positions are never the proverbial ‘black hole’ that unfortunately sometimes occurs in our industry, especially when partnering with other firms. We know that our work for Gables will never be a waste of time.

“Another factor in our success has been our constant communication. We are both on the same page when it comes to communicating the changing details of his positions and our candidates and we update each other in real time. I believe we are both truly passionate about our businesses, our reputations and getting deals done!

“Michael goes a step beyond also in his role of managing his clients and their positions, often he will also get involved in managing and communicating with our candidates. He always does what is appropriate in this regard and will not ‘step on our toes,’ but only help when necessary.

“We look forward to a long standing relationship with Michael Stuck, Gables Search Group and also working with other members of Top Echelon.”

At Top Echelon, we love it when recruiters enjoy quick success in the Network (usually defined by making a split placement with the first six to 12 months).

'Comments' and Compliments ExtraBut what if a recruiter made three split placements in their first six months?  And what if they made those three placements with the same Trading Partner, somebody with who they work extremely well?

That’s the case in this installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments Extra.”  Mario Linale of Atlas Consulting Group, LLC joined Top Echelon Network as a Preferred Member recruiter in October of 2012, and he promptly hit the ground running, with some help from Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc.

As a result, Linale has already received a tremendous return on this Network investment . . . and he’s only been a Preferred Member recruiter for six months.

That’s why there is no double that this is the beginning of a great split partner relationship!

(Below are Stuck’s thoughts regarding his Trading Partner relationship with Linale.  Click here for Linale’s comments.)

>Michael StuckMario Linale“This should have been my second placement with Mario.  Our first one was a fall-off three days before the guy was supposed to start.  It’s nice to get this second one so quickly to make up for losing the first one.  This is Mario’s first placement in TE, and he just joined the Network back in October.  What an ultimate pro you are, Mario, and a welcome addition to the Network.  We have a lot of other candidates in the works, so it’s only a matter of time before we get another one.  Great working with you!”

We’ve presented proof that Top Echelon Network Core Groups result in split placements for years and years and years.

'Comments' and ComplimentsAnd we have even more proof in this week’s issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.  Why is that?  Because the placements in the network of job placement recruiters are still happening!  In fact, you can’t stop them from happening (not that we’d actually want to do that . . . that’s crazy talk).

The Core Groups in question are Regional Core Groups—specifically, the Ohio Golf Outing Core Group and the Central Ohio Regional Core Group.  These groups have met regularly in the past and will be meeting regularly in the future.

As for the present?  They’re making placements as part of the split fee recruiting network!  (I thought we established that.)

If you would like to participate in one of these Core Groups, contact Top Echelon Network Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at (330) 455-1433, Ext. 156.  If you’d like to create your own Core Group or find out more about them, contact Drea for that, too.

If you’d like to compliment one of your Trading Partners for a recent split placement, you can contact ME by sending your comments to Marketing@TopEchelon.com.  Those comments will appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

Debra L. Stitt, CPCLee Fierman“Thank you, Lee, for quickly jumping on this one when I emailed you for assistance.  As is often the case with candidates, a little extra TLC was involved, but it was well worth it!  I’m looking forward to our next one!  The Ohio Golf Group strikes again!”

St. Petersburg Beach resized 600

Let’s just face the hard facts: winter is NEVER going to end!  It’s just going to keep snowing and snowing and snowing . . .

That’s why you must go to the 2013 Top Echelon Network National Convention in Florida next month!  So you can enjoy the warm weather and sandy beaches.  So you can wear shorts and flip-flops.  So you can stop worrying about slipping on the sidewalk and breaking something you might need.

And yes, there could be a pile of money waiting for you in Florida.

But more importantly, winter is NEVER going to end!  (Did we mention that already?)

Did we also mention:

  • Beer ManThat industry legend Danny Cahill is the main speaker for the convention?
  • That Bob Marshall and Amy Bingham are also going to present sessions?
  • That this is our 25th anniversary convention?
  • That the cost of registration is just $560 per person?
  • That the Gala Event is going to “blow the roof” off the convention (NOT literally . . . we hope)?
  • That we will probably enter into a period of deep introspection and self-analysis if you don’t attend?

Well, if we didn’t, we’re mentioning all of that right now.  We’re also mentioning the fact that we recently posted photos from the last time we were at the TradeWinds Resort in St. Petersburg.  That was the 2000 National Convention, and there are quite a few current Network recruiters who also attended that event.

This year’s National Convention is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, through Saturday, April 27.  It will probably still be snowing wherever you are on those dates . . . or it will be 30 degrees . . . or both.

You owe yourself a break.  You owe yourself a trip to sunny and warm Florida.  You owe it to yourself to make more money.  You owe it yourself to attend the convention!

So register for the 2013 National Convention!

And snowing and snowing and snowing . . .

We are all connected . . . by the “great circle of split placements”!

Okay, so that phrase didn’t originate from a Disney animated film that grossed hundreds of millions of dollars.  However, it was the product of this week’s placements in Top Echelon Network.

That’s because we featured Network recruiter Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc. in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, and he recently made a split placement with Network recruiter Laurie Gillespie of Dayspring & Associates.

Gillespie, meanwhile, has not one, but TWO split placements in this week’s issue of The Pinnacle.

Does that seem more like a triangle to you than a circle, maybe even an isosceles triangle?  Unfortunately, the “great isosceles triangle of split placements” doesn’t make much sense.

While I try to figure this out, please peruse the list of positions that were recently filled by Top Echelon Network recruiters:

  • Recent PlacementsSoftware Engineer – Progress
  • Datastage Systems Consultant
  • Polymer Research Engineer
  • Data Analytics & Visualization Analyst
  • HR Manager
  • Web Developer/Programmer
  • Project Manager
  • Key Account Sales – Central

Do you work within the industries and disciplines represented by these positions?  If so, then we might be featuring YOUR split placement next!

If you have any questions about circles, triangles, or how you can make placements in Top Echelon Network, contact Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at (330) 455-1433, Ext. 156.

Everybody loves a good story . . . especially a good recruiting story.

This week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, we don’t have just one or even two good recruiting stories—we have three!  That trio of headhunting tales is courtesy of Top Echelon Network recruiter Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, Inc.

'Comments' and ComplimentsThere are many things that make these stories great:

  • All three were the first split placement that Stuck made with the other recruiters involved (Kevin Bautista, Steve Strickland, and Terry Rhodes).
  • In two of the three situations, the other recruiter was making their first split placement in Top Echelon Network (Bautista and Rhodes).
  • One of the splits involved the placement of a Chief Executive Officer, which brought with it a rather hefty fee.
  • Each split placement exemplifies the teamwork associated with high-quality Trading Partner relationships in the Network.

We’d like to thank Stuck for submitting his comments and for helping us to highlight these split placements—and these three great recruiting stories!

If YOU have a great recruiting story regarding a recent split placement with another Network recruiter, send your comments to marketing@topechelon.com, and they’ll appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

The great thing about Trading Partner relationships in Top Echelon Network is that once you reach a certain point, the placements just start to flow.

Take, for example, two of the recruiters highlighted in this week’s placements—Patrick Staudacher and Sean Napoles.

Staudacher and Napoles have made seven split placements during the past two years, and two of those occurred recently.  This is just more evidence of the fact that once you make one split placement with another Preferred Member recruiter, many more can follow.

Below is the list of positions that were filled this past week by Network recruiters:

  • Recent PlacementsSAP Analyst SD
  • SAP Manager
  • Director of Purchasing
  • Chief Executive Officer
  • Vice President – Assistant Controller
  • Product Engineering Manager
  • Software Developer
  • Process Engineer

Are you looking to fill positions just like these?  Do you work with candidates who have these titles?  Then YOU can make placements in Top Echelon Network.

Many of you probably know what a “runner’s high” is.  According to Dictionary.com, it’s “a state of euphoria experienced during prolonged running or other forms of aerobic, sustained exercise, attributed to an increase of endorphins in the blood.”

But really, who wants to go running?  Why not just make split fee recruiting network placements instead?

'Comments' and ComplimentsAfter all, you have to figure that at least the same amount of endorphins are released into your bloodstream when you make a placement as when you run five miles.  Not only that, but when you make a placement, you don’t feel like you’re going to throw up and/or pass out.

As you can see below, the recruiters in this week’s installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments” aren’t enjoying a “runner’s high” . . . they’re enjoying a “placement high”!

They’ve made spit placements with other Preferred Member recruiters in situations where they might not have made a placement at all, and the endorphins are coursing through their bloodstream as we speak.  Not only that, but the only place they have to run to is the bank—to deposit their placement check before it closes.

Then they can come back home and eat chocolates on the sofa while watching re-runs of Three’s Company.  Not that I do that or anything . . . I’m just sayin’.

Remember, if you’d like to compliment one of your recruiting network Trading Partners for a recent split placement, send your comments to marketing@topechelon.com, and they’ll appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Yes, we like our pop culture tie-ins here at Top Echelon Network, so let’s discuss the recent movie Oz the Great and Powerful.

That movie, of course, is tied to the 1939 original, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.  One of the great lines from that original film was, “Lions and tigers and bears . . . oh, my!”

Well, we don’t have any lions, tigers, or bears in the Network.  (And no snakes, either.  Drea Codispoti runs those over with his Preferred Membership Lawnmower.)

No, what we have instead, at least this week, are “Engineers and supervisors and analysts . . . oh, my!”  No, these aren’t potentially dangerous people (as far as we know).  They represent a sampling of the positions that were filled this past week by Preferred Member recruiters in Top Echelon Network.

The complete list for this week is below:

  • Recent PlacementsSAP Business Analyst
  • Business Consultant
  • Senior Mechanical Engineer
  • Construction Project Manager
  • Supervisor
  • Warehouse Supervisor
  • Reliability Engineer
  • Treasury Analyst
