The 2013 National Association of Personnel Services is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, through Friday, September 13!  The location for the event is the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

That’s a little over a month away!  That’s just one reason why you should register now for what’s sure to be one of the most heavily attended events in the recruiting industry this year.  Below are a bunch of other reasons to register:

  • NAPS Recruiting Conference20 of the recruiting industry’s leading speakers
  • CPC, CTS, and CERS certification sessions
  • Networking lunches
  • Fast-track speaker breakouts
  • An “Owner/Manager Special Day”!
  • And a whole lot more!

As we’ve mentioned on several occasions, Hiring Hook recruitment website design and Big Biller recruiting software for applicant tracking are both sponsors of this year’s NAPS Conference!

The cost to attend the conference is $795 for NAPS members and $1,195 for non-members.  Recruiters are encouraged to contact NAPS about special pricing and payment plans.

Since 1961, NAPS has built a reputation for being the educator for the executive search and staffing industry.  The organization has accomplished this not only through its annual conference, but also through its certification program and emphasis on continuing education for search professionals.

This is it!  Only one month to go!  Sign up today!

We know for a fact that not every Top Echelon Network recruiter believes that there is value in attending our conferences and conventions.  How do we know that?

Because not every Top Echelon Network recruiter attends our conferences and conventions.

But you know who DOES attend?  Those recruiters who realize the true value of these events, namely the opportunity to meet new Network recruiters and make placements they probably would not have made otherwise.

If you’d like proof, we’d be more than happy to provide some . . .

The 2013 Top Echelon Network Fall Conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 3, and Friday, October 4, at the Sheraton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel.

Yes, there will be great speakers.  Yes, there will be fun.  Yes, there will be the “Windy City” of Chicago.

But more importantly, there will be the value of meeting other Network recruiters face-to-face, networking with them, and making split placements when you get back to the office.

Just like these recruiters did!

Everybody wants value.  They want to deliver it, and—of course—they want to receive it.

The upcoming 2013 National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) Conference is once again “chock full” of value.  Each and every year, the NAPS Conference is one of the most heavily attended events in the recruiting industry, and this year will prove to be no exception.

The NAPS Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, through Friday, September 13.  The location for the event is the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

And what about value?  Well, there’s plenty of THAT, and it takes the form of the following benefits for executive recruiters:

  • 20 of the recruiting industry’s leading speakers
  • CPC, CTS, and CERS certification sessions
  • Networking lunches
  • Fast-track speaker breakouts
  • An “Owner/Manager Special Day”!
  • And a whole lot more!

As we’ve mentioned before, Hiring Hook staffing website design and Big Biller recruiting software are both sponsors of this year’s NAPS Conference!

The cost to attend the conference is $795 for NAPS members and $1,195 for non-members.  Recruiters are encouraged to contact NAPS about special pricing and payment plans.

Since 1961, NAPS has built a reputation as being the educator for the executive search and staffing industry.  The organization has accomplished this not only through its annual conference, but also through its certification program and emphasis on continuing education for search professionals.

We look forward to seeing you in Vegas!  It’s sure to be a valuable experience.

Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERSDon’t say we didn’t warn you!  Actually, this is more of a “friendly reminder” than anything . . . giving you a warning has such a negative connation, and we wouldn’t dream of such a thing.

At least not at this early juncture.  No, right now we just want to remind you that the 2013 Top Echelon Network Fall Conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 3, and Friday, October 4.

So mark your calendars!  Circle the date!  Tell your friends and neighbors!  (Well, maybe not that last part, but the first two, for sure.)

Once again, the location for the Fall Conference will be the Sheraton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel.  The Windy City has been kind to us down through the years, and that’s why we’re going back for yet another event.

The preliminary agenda for the 2013 Fall Conference will be available soon (and by soon, we mean as early as a month from now).  Not only that, but we’ll also have the price for Early Bird Registration, so you can sign up early, save some money, and beat the rush.

So have a great Memorial Day holiday and an even better summer . . . but DON’T forget about the Fall Conference in October.

Consider yourself warned.

Last week, we highlighted recruiters who attended the recent Top Echelon Network National Convention in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, specifically the fact that those attendees made a bunch of split placements recently.

Well, guess what?  We’re doing it again!

'Comments' and ComplimentsThis time, though, we’re highlighting convention attendees in our “‘Comments’ and Compliments” feature.  Some of the phrases included with these comments include “FANTASTIC to work with!” and “fabulous to work with!”  Here are three more quick facts:

  1. Three of the four recruiters below were at the National Convention.  (Once again, their names are italicized.)
  2. Since the first of the year, those three recruiters have made a total of eight Network split placements combined.
  3. Two of the three recruiters have only been in the Network for a little over a year.

You don’t have to be in the Network for a long time to enjoy success within it.  All you have to do is participate—and that, of course, includes attending conferences and conventions.

If you’d like to compliment another Network recruiter about a recent split placement, submit those comments with your Completed Placement Form, and they’ll appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Position Title—SECURITY SOFTWARE SALES REP

Jim PetitprenJudy Kaplan“Judy has been fabulous to work with!  This is our second placement together, and we look forward to a strong, continued partnership.”

Submitted by Jim Petitpren of The PRA Group, Inc. regarding his split placement with Judy Kaplan of Prof’l Recruiting Consultants

Position Title—EMBEDDED MEDICAL ENGINEER

Fee Percentage—30%

(Editor’s note: This is the second split placement that Petitpren and Kaplan have made together in Top Echelon Network.)

Sometimes you need a friendly reminder . . . and we’re here to give you one!

That friendly reminder is about the 2013 National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) Conference, which is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, through Friday, September 13.  The location: the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This year’s jam-packed event will feature a number of benefits for executive recruiters.  Those benefits include the following:

  • 20 of the recruiting industry’s leading speakers
  • CPC, CTS, and CERS certification sessions
  • Networking lunches
  • Fast-track speaker breakouts
  • An “Owner/Manager Special Day” embedded within the conference!
  • And a whole lot more!

We’re pleased to announce that Hiring Hook recruitment website design and Big Biller recruitment software are both sponsors of this year’s NAPS Conference!

The cost to attend the 2013 conference is $795 for NAPS members and $1,195 for non-members.  However, recruiters are encouraged to contact NAPS to inquire about special pricing and payment plans.

Since its inception in 1961, NAPS has built a reputation as being the educator for the executive search and staffing industry.  NAPS has accomplished this not only through its annual conference, but also through its certification program and emphasis on continuing education.

We’ll see you in Vegas!  Be there or be square!

Matt DeutschThe 2013 Top Echelon Network National Convention is next week!  We’re going to St. Petersburg Beach!  A great time will be had by all!

And we’re going to take pictures . . . a LOT of pictures.

Want proof?  All you have to do is look through our photos from past Top Echelon Network conventions.  And where might those be, you ask?  Well, on our Facebook Fan Page, of course.

We recently posted photos from all of our networking events for recruiters . . . well, since we started taking photos at the National Convention.  While we didn’t post every single photo, we definitely posted the majority of them, with an emphasis on including recruiters who are currently Preferred Members of the Network (as opposed to former Members).

Now of course, we’ll be uploading photos to Facebook during and after the upcoming 2013 National Convention, and we encourage those recruiters who will be in attendance to do the same.  Let’s have a great convention, let’s have fun, and let’s share that fun.  In the meantime . . .

There’s less than a week left before the start of the National Convention.  So there’s still time to register.  So do it now—you won’t regret it!

Matt DeutschOf course, not every recruiting firm in Top Echelon Network is attending next week’s National Convention.  (Although . . . they should be.)

And not every recruiting firm in Top Echelon Network is on Twitter.  (Although . . . they should be.)

However, if you’re NOT attending the convention and ARE on Twitter, then you SHOULD follow me on Twitter.

That’s because I’ll be posting updates and photos on Twitter throughout the duration of the National Convention—before, during, and after, as a matter of fact.

Twitter is currently the best way to find out what’s happening at the convention in real-time (without actually being in attendance, of course).  While there will be updates posted to Facebook, they will be fewer, farther between, and more “after the fact.”

The Facebook mobile app is just not as easy to use as the Twitter app.  Not only that, but Facebook is a better vehicle for posting a large number of photos, which I’ll do after the convention has concluded.

You can follow me on Twitter here: @MattDeutsch.

You can follow Top Echelon Network on Twitter here: @TENetwork.

One more thing to remember: the official hastag for the 2013 National Convention is #TENAT13.

Include this hashtag with every one of your tweets regarding the National Convention.  You can use the hashtag while tweeting from any place at any time about any aspect of the event—and you don’t even have to be there!

Later, if you conduct a search in Twitter using #TENAT13, Twitter will find and present all of the tweets that include that hashtag.

So if I don’t see you in Florida next week, I’d better see you on Twitter!
