You’ve heard the old adage: TEAMwork = Together Everybody Achieves More.

'Comments' and ComplimentsDo Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiters want to achieve more?  Of course they do, and the way they want to achieve more is by earning more and billing more.  Since “Together Everybody Bills More” is the equivalent of TEBMwork, let’s go with “Together Everybody Earns More” instead.  (Just humor us for a minute.)

Okay, why the misspelling lesson?  Because in this week’s installment of “Comments and Compliments,” we’re featuring four Preferred Member recruiters who utilized TEAMwork (or TEEMwork) to close deals that might not have happened otherwise—and probably wouldn’t have happened as quickly, even if they did.

When members of Top Echelon’s recruiter network tag-team a placement situation, they bring twice the knowledge, twice the expertise, and twice the effort . . . and that’s an equation that often means the difference between a deal coming together and a deal falling through.

So we’d like to congratulate the recruiters featured in this week’s installment, and we’d love (yes, we mean love) to feature YOU in the future.  If you’d like to compliment a Trading Partner for a recent split fee recruiting placement, send an email to marketing@TopEchelon.com.  And we forgive all spelling errors.

“Jim was pleasant to work with; he had two experienced MD’s apply for a more senior level role I was working on for the same client. Remember, if you have compliments for a Trading Partner regarding a split placement, please email them to marketing@TopEchelon.com.

Yes, Top Echelon Network Preferred Member David Kersey has made 99 Network placements during his tenure on the Network, and yes, that’s quite impressive.  (In fact, Kersey’s now on the verge of his 100th Network placement, since he just had an offer accepted in a split placement situation with Mike Helffrich, CPC of Helffrich International.  Once payment is received, that will make placement #100 for Kersey.)

However, that’s still a far cry from the recruiter who has made the most placements in Top Echelon Network.  That Preferred Member is Bruce Ramstad, who recently made his 306th Network placement.  That deal leads off this week’s list of completed split placements in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Ramstad joined Top Echelon Network no April 6, 1991, meaning that his 21st anniversary as a Preferred Member recruiter is quickly approaching.  (Kersey’s 20th anniversary in the Network is next month.)

No other recruiter in the history of Top Echelon Network has made 300 placements, and in actuality, there aren’t any active Members who are within shouting distance of Ramstad.  Ramstad received a special award for making 300 placements in the Network at the 2009 National Convention.  For now, he’s the undisputed “Placement King of Top Echelon Network.”  Only time will tell if he will eventually be dethroned . . .

At Top Echelon, we love when our Preferred Member recruiters reach milestones—especially when those milestones pertain to the number of split placements they’ve made within the Network!

'Comments' and ComplimentsWe have a Preferred Member recruiter who’s right on the cusp of reaching such a milestone.  That recruiter is David Kersey of Kersey & Associates, Inc., who recently made his 99th Network placement.

Not only that, but Kersey joined Top Echelon Network on March 6, 1992.  That means very soon, Kersey will be celebrating his 20th anniversary as a Preferred Member of the Network!

Let’s see, 99 placements in almost 20 years.  That comes out to five placements per year, and since the average cash-in for a split placement in Top Echelon Network is roughly $8,000 . . . well, you can do the math.  Needless to say, Kersey has received a substantial return on his Network Membership dues every year.

Regardless, we can’t wait until he makes his next Network placement, because that will be his 100th.  Then we can celebrate even more and present him with a certificate, as well.  If you’re close to a milestone in Top Echelon Network, one that’s related to split placements or not, we want to know about it.

We also want to know if you’d like to compliment a Trading Partner for a recent split placement.  Either way, send an email to marketing@TopEchelon.com.

Last week, we disclosed the fact that split placement numbers were up over last year . . . and this week only reinforces that!

That’s because we have more split in this week’s newsletter than we’ve had in recent memory, and there could be even more on the way.  And recruiters are making splits in a lot of different ways—regular communicating, searching the Split Databases, and through their Hiring Hook websites.

That’s exactly what we like to see: Preferred Member recruiters using the tools and services we offer to make more split placements with one another, thereby strengthening their Trading Partner relationships.  The only thing left to do is . . . attend the 2011 National Convention!

We love when things go together in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog—like chocolate and peanut butter!

Speaking of things that go together, the recruiter we’re featuring in this week’s installment of “Comments and Compliments” is also the “Recruiter of the Month” for January: Maria Hemminger of MJ Recruiters, LLC.

'Comments' and ComplimentsSpeaking of chocolate, Hemminger specifically mentions that delicious food in her comments regarding one of the recent split placements she made with a Trading Partner.  Did she mention peanut butter in her comments regarding the other split placement?  No, but now we’re hungry for a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.  Aren’t you?  We thought so.

If you’d like to compliment one of your Trading Partners for a recent split placement (and mention chocolate AND/OR peanut butter in the process), send your comments to marketing@TopEchelon.com, and they’ll appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Top-Producing RecruitersWhen it comes to recruiters who are model Preferred Members in Top Echelon Network, there might not be anybody who can top our most recent “Recruiter of the Month.”

Maria Hemminger of MJ Recruiters, LLC has been a Preferred Member recruiter since 2005, and since that time she’s made a total of 54 placements in the Network.  Hemminger attends Top Echelon Network conferences and conventions, she attends Regional Core Group meetings, and she participates in the Network in as many different ways as she can.

And that’s why she’s made 54 placements, why she’s a Top Producer in the Network, and why she’s the “Recruiter of the Month” for January.  Congratulations, Maria!  Here’s to 54 more Network placements (at least).

We recognize recruiters for both monthly and quarterly performance in two categories—”Recruiter of the Month” and “Highest Split Placement Fee of the Month.”  Remember, for more information about the placements and cash-in totals associated with these awards, please login to the Members’ Area and view the profiles and placement details of the recruiters involved.

Maria HemmingerRecruiter of the Month
Maria Hemminger of MJ Recruiters, LLC

Maria was the only Preferred Member recruiter in the Network to make three split placements during the month of January.

Two recruiters made two split placements apiece.  They were Suzanne Griffith, CPC of J S Griffith & Associates and Steve Copeland of Albert Energy, LLC.

Marty StanSteve Bret JensenHighest Split Placement Fee of the Month
Marty Stan of Samaritan Technical Professional and Steve Bret Jensen of Superior Search Consultants, Inc.

The position for this placement was a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer.  Stan was the job order recruiter, and Jensen was the candidate recruiter.  The action that stimulated this placement was listed as “Regular phone communication with a Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiter in my specialty area.”

Our criteria for these awards:

Top Echelon Network is a split placement network.  As such, we place an emphasis on split placements, and that emphasis constitutes a large part of our criteria for these awards.  We determine the monthly and quarterly award winners based upon two things, which are listed below in order of importance:

1.) The number of split placements made
2.) The amount of cash-in dollars earned as a result of those split placements

The first month of 2012 is already in the books.  It went quickly, didn’t it?  The good news is that Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiters made more placements during January of this year than they did during January of last year—nearly twice as many, as a matter of fact.

Part of the reason for this increase is due to the large number of contract split placements that Members have made (which we haven’t included in this post).  Another reason is the economy continues to steadily improve and companies seem more willing to pull the trigger on hiring again.

So one down, 11 more to go.  If Network Preferred Members can make twice as many placements every month in 2012 than they did in 2011, it will be a good year, indeed.

One recruiter makes a split placement with another recruiter, who makes a split placement with another recruiters, who makes a split placement with . . .

'Comments' and ComplimentsWell, you get the idea.

This week in “Comments and Compliments,” we’re presenting not two, but three placements, namely because they illustrate this “Triangle of Trust” rather well.  (After all, Trust is one of the Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network and one of the foundations upon which split placements are made.

There’s a thread in these three placements, as we move from one to the other to the other, with one recruiter serving as a bridge to subsequent split placements.  But that’s the way it works with networking, you never know where things are going to lead or what’s going to happen—although, invariably a split placement is made and a fee is shared.

Remember, if you’d like to compliment one of your Trading Partners for a recent split placement, send your comments to marketing@TopEchelon.com, and they’ll appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

'Comments' and Compliments

Here at Top Echelon Network, we love to highlight Preferred Member recruiters who have made their first split placement in the Network, and that’s exactly what we’re doing in this week’s edition of “‘Comments’ and Compliments.”

However, there’s a bit of a twist, because the two firms involved in the split placement are no stranger to one another.  Recruiters from each of the firms have made split placements together in the past.  It’s just that a new recruiter has entered the fray, which is good . . . since more recruiters mean more split placements.

That’s not the only split placement we’re highlighting, either.  Our other split involves a difficult job order that a Preferred Member recruiter filled with the help of one of their Trading Partners.  Those are the type of success stories that we love to hear!

We’d love to hear YOUR story, too!  If you’d like to compliment one of your Trading Partners for a recent split placement, send your comments to marketing@TopEchelon.com, and they’ll appear in a future issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Sure, “Regular communication with another Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiter” is traditionally the number-one way in which recruiters make split placements in Top Echelon Network.  So communication is important . . . but so is searching the Split Databases within the Network—the Split Job Order Database and the Split Candidate Database.

As this week’s completed split placements show, searching the Split Databases can lead to good things, namely split placements!  Make searching the Split Databases part of your daily routine, in addition to communicating with your Trading Partners on a regular basis, and you’ll greatly enhance your chances for making more split placements and generating more revenue for you and your firm.

If you have any questions about your Top Echelon Network Membership, contact Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at 330.455.1433, x156 or via email at Drea@TopEchelon.com.
