And why is it the “Michael Stuck and Sean Napoles Show” in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog this week?  Well, let me count the ways (or, more accurately, the placements):

1. They have three completed placements in this week’s issue alone.

2. They’ve made five split placements so far in 2012, which officially puts them in the “kicking recruiter butt” category as Trading Partners within the Network.

3. They also made two split placements in 2011.

4. Of the 10 placements that Stuck has made as a Preferred Member recruiter, seven of them have been with Napoles.

Recent Placements
This once again proves that when you find another recruiter with whom you work well, there is no limit to the number of split placements you can make with that recruiter.

Remember, there are recruiters in the Network who have made 40 split placements together during their tenure as Preferred Members.  Is the sky the limit?  Darn tootin’ it is.  (And if I went to the length of using “darn tootin’, you know I’m dad-gum serious.)

Let the “Michael Stuck and Sean Napoles Show” begin!

'Comments' and Compliments
We swing from one extreme to another in this installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments.”  That’s because one of the recruiters we’re highlighting this week has made his first split placement as a Preferred Member in Top Echelon Network and another one has made his 307th split placement!

The funny thing is, the formula for both split placements (and all split placements, really) is still the same.

That formula—as you’ll see by reading the comments below—consists mainly of the Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network.  Those Pillars are Quality, Communication, Trust, and Active Participation.  These recruiters posted their jobs on the Network, they searched the jobs on the Network, and they contacted each other about those jobs.

The result?  Money, money, moneeeeee-y . . . money!

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation), send your information to marketing@topechelon.com.  Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!  “Who loves ya, baby?”

— — —

Veronica (Roni) Snyder“Thanks for posting the candidate on TE!  Bruce posted the candidate on 6/8, we took the job order on 6/12, and by 6/14 we had the candidate qualified and submitted.  A few interviews later, he received the job offer.  Thanks, Bruce!”

Submitted by Veronica Snyder of Career Professionals, Inc. regarding her split placement with Bruce Ramstad of Bruce L. Ramstad

Position Title—MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Fee Percentage—25%

(Editor’s note: this is the second split placement that Snyder and Ramstad have made together in Top Echelon Network.)

The Top Echelon Network offices will be closed on Monday, September 3, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

The offices will re-open at 8 a.m. the following day, Tuesday, September 4.

We’d like to wish everybody a fun and safe holiday while you visit with family and friends.  Drink lots of lemonade (or another beverage of your choosing); play volleyball or horseshoes; watch some college football; eat plenty of hamburgers and hot dogs; and most of all, enjoy a few laughs.

But whatever you do, don’t work on Labor Day . . . unless you’re about to make a placement . . . with a huge fee . . . and it’s a Network split . . . then a LITTLE work wouldn’t hurt.  Right?

All work and no play might make Jack a dull boy, but all play and no work make Jack a poor boy.  Or something like that.

Okay, okay . . . summer doesn’t officially end until September 22, which is exactly one month from today.

But what’s the matter with having an “End-of-Summer Split Placement Extravaganza” for the next four weeks?

Recent PlacementsAnswer: there’s nothing wrong with it, that’s what.

This week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, we have more split placements with larger percentages and bigger fees—and those are three things upon which all recruiters can agree.

Preferred Member recruiters in the Network are still making more split placements than they were a year ago, and we expect that trend to continue throughout the rest of 2012.  In the meantime, there are still four more weeks left in our “Split Placement Extravaganza.”

So what are you waiting for?  Celebrate by making some splits!

Every once in a while, we have a shameless plug in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.  However, in all actuality, the reason we have one this week is because recruiters are making money because of our shameless plug.

The plug in question is for Hiring Hook, websites for recruiters.

'Comments' and ComplimentsMore and more in 2012, Preferred Member recruiters are making split placements in the Network because of Hiring Hook websites.  They’ve been directly responsible for providing the candidates that recruiters need for their open job orders.

Hiring Hook not only offers website design and re-design services for recruiters, but also offers a Job Board that recruiters can use to post jobs to their website.  (And as you’ve probably guessed, they can use to post other recruiters’ jobs to their website, allowing them to make split placements.)

Click here for more information about website services for recruiters, or just give us a call at (330) 455-1433.  (We like to talk; it’s our thing.)  In the meantime, below are comments that recruiters recently submitted regarding split placements they’ve made because of a Hiring Hook website.

And to top it all off, it’s the first split placement they’ve made with one another!

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation), send your information to marketing@topechelon.com.  Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

In last week’s issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, we talked about how Karen Akbal-Sturgeon of KLA Industries is taking her entire office of recruiters to the 2012 Top Echelon Network Fall Conference in Chicago this October.

This week, we’re highlighting Jim Petitpren and Pam Petitpren of The PRA Group, Inc., who are also planning to attend the Fall Conference.  However, their story is a bit different, and this is why:

  • They joined Top Echelon Network as Preferred Member recruiters in February of this year.
  • They immediately registered for the National Convention, which was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tenn.
  • When online registration for the Fall Conference went live, Jim and Pam were among the first Preferred Members to sign up.

Recently, we asked them why they were so anxious to attend another Top Echelon Network event, and this is what Pam had to say:

Pam Petitpren“Top Echelon Recruiters are the best of the best.  We met so many great new Trading Partners and began so many great new relationships, the [National Convention] was an event that gave us energy and a new perspective on how we do our recruiting, in and out of Top Echelon Network.

“The content of the recruiter discussions was extremely valuable and the speaker was great.

“Besides, it’s nice to get out of the office and get fresh ideas and perspectives from other recruiters whose business models are similar to ours.  There’s so much to talk about and learn from one another.”

The Fall Conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 11, and Friday, October 12, at the Sheraton Chicago O’Hare.  Early Bird Registration for the conference is currently underway. The price of Early Bird is just $210 per person.

However, this price won’t be around forever.  Sign up now and plan to join us in Chicago for a great training and networking event!

Recent PlacementsEach week, a theme emerges for the split placements that we publish in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, and this week’s theme is not an unfamiliar one.  That’s perhaps because it’s the one that’s most directly tied to Preferred Member recruiters’ success making split placements in the Network.

There are a lot of ways to make a split placement in Top Echelon Network, and we publish those ways each week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

Of course, the most common (and most popular) one is “Regular Communication with another Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiter.”  But that’s by no means the only one.

In fact, this week we have not one, but two different ones.  One relates to Hiring Hook websites for recruiters and is indicative of a recent trend when it comes to split placements in the Network, and the other is “Searching the Top Echelon Network recruiter database.”

If you’ve made the Network part of your regular recruiting ritual (and you should, if you want to maximize your Membership and make more placements), then searching the split databases should be part of that ritual.  Simply put: recruiters who search the databases on a regular basis make more splits—and make them more quickly—than those who don’t.

Oh, and while you’re at it, get a Hiring Hook website, too.  Those are making recruiters a lot of money, as you can see below.

In our “‘Comments’ and Compliments” feature in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, Preferred Member recruiters praise each other for the split placements they make.  In this week’s installment, one of those Members pinpoints the value of Top Echelon Network Membership.

That Member is Georgette Sandifer of Gallman Consulting, who stated that the Network is “great” because it’s filled with quality recruiters who provide quality candidates.

'Comments' and ComplimentsSandifer’s production in the Network is a testament to the value that she finds in it.  She’s already made five split placements in 2012 after making five splits in 2011.  Those placements represent a significant return on the investment of time, money, and energy she’s made in her Network Membership.

To make this installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments” even better this week, both pair of recruiters highlighted made their first split placement with one another.  Where lightning has struck once, it can strike again!

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation (or tell us how great the Network is, because we kind of like that), send your information to marketing@topechelon.com.  Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

Georgette Sandifer“Chuck is so amazing to work with.  So happy this worked out.  Happy candidate, happy client, and very happy recruiters.  Top Echelon is just great—nice people like Chuck to work with who provide great candidates.  By the way, got the candidate on Wednesday; reviewed, submitted, and interviewed on Thursday; and accepted on Friday.  Doesn’t get much better!”

That theme is one of the Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network: Communication.

It may sound like a broken record by now, but it’s a broken record that can pay you a commission fee every time you listen to it.  (Now isn’t THAT sweet music to your ears?)

Yeah, we’re all busy.  There’s no denying that.

However, the recruiters listed below adhere to certain actions in regards to their Network Membership and their Trading Partner relationships:

  1. They communicate regularly.
  2. They treat their Trading Partners like they treat their clients (and incidentally, the way they would like to be treated).
  3. They continually provide each other with detailed information about the job order, the candidate, and where everybody and everything stands in the process.

That’s why they make split placement after split placement after split placement, and why we’ll probably be seeing their smiling faces in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog in the future.  We want YOUR picture in this newsletter, too!  So get cracking . . . and start communicating more.  Only good things can happen.

There have always been Trading Partners in Top Echelon Network who have worked extremely well together and made a lot of split placements . . . but none of them can approach the individual and combined production of Donna Carroll, CPC of Systems Personnel and Gary Silver of The Shay Group.

First of all, the two of them have now made a total of 40 split placements together.

'Comments' and ComplimentsBut that’s just the beginning.  In addition, Silver is a member of the Network’s exclusive “200 Placement Club,” having now made 223 placements during his tenure as a Preferred Member recruiter.  Carroll, meanwhile, has made 121 placements in the Network.

As luck (and hard work would have it), Silver made his 200th Network placement with Carroll, and that happened to be her 100th placement.  Coincidence?  Maybe . . . but maybe not.

Here’s the interesting aspect of this great Trading Partner relationship: Carroll and Silver have earned a ton of money making contract split placements, one after another after another after another.  If you don’t think there’s money in contract placements, then check out what these two have done.

And then visit Top Echelon’s page for contract staffing recruiters, the recruiter’s back-office solution.  They’ll handle all the complicated back-office duties, so you can sip exotic drinks on the beach.  Because who doesn’t want to do THAT?  (I know I do.)

If you’d like to thank another recruiter for their efforts in a split placement situation, send your information to marketing@topechelon.com. Your comments might be included in an upcoming issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!
