THE SPLIT PLACEMENTS:

The percentage of placements made in Top Echelon Network as a result of Hiring Hook websites has been growing steadily over the past five years.  However, how much has that percentage been growing?

Recruiter CommentsTop Echelon analyzed its third quarter statistics recently, and we found that Hiring Hook recruiting websites have accounted for 23.8% of all split placements made in the Network through the first nine months of 2013.  That’s more than a 10% increase over last year!

(So it’s not surprising that all of the splits in this installment of “‘Comments’ and Compliments” were the result of a Hiring Hook website—namely Steve Kohn’s.)

Will the percentage of Network placements made through Hiring Hook websites increase again next year?  We can’t say for sure, but all indications point to that being the case.

For more information about how you can make more Network placements with your website, call 330.455.1433.

THE SPLIT PLACEMENTS:

Top Echelon Network recruiters are always looking to make split placements with a new Trading Partner.  That’s because where one split placement is . . . many split placements could be.

Comments and ComplimentsOne of the quickest and easiest ways to make split placements with new Trading Partners in the Network is through a Hiring Hook recruiting website.

With Hiring Hook, other Network recruiters’ jobs can be posted to your website.  Then, when qualified candidates apply for those jobs—and are eventually hired—you split the placement fees with the job order recruiter.

How well has this worked?  Well enough that the percentage of split placements made in Top Echelon Network due to Hiring Hook websites has increased every year for the past six years.

If you don’t have a Hiring Hook website, call us today at 330.455.1433 to get started.

Matt DeutschIs this really the last chance for your recruiting firm to get a FREE website evaluation from Top Echelon?

No, it’s not . . . not really.

BUT the response to our free offer has been tremendous, as over 125 recruiting firms have indicated they want to have their website evaluated.  As you might imagine, we’re working at a fever pitch to provide those evaluations.  (Each one involves a three-page document outlining our analysis and recommendations.)

We’re in the process of scheduling consultations to review the evaluations.  Since it’s only January 2, there’s still plenty of time to request an evaluation and schedule a consultation.  (Unless, of course, you’re still on vacation.  In that case, you might have some hesitation in regards to this proclamation.)

Where was I?

Ah, yes.  This blog post will be the last time we reference our free website evaluations for a while.  We have other irons in fire, bigger fish to fry, more chickens to count before they hatch, and so on.  (Not the least of which is the 2013 Top Echelon Network National Convention!  Have you registered?  Have you?)

In the meantime, let me reiterate that there are four areas we address during these evaluations.  Of course, in keeping with Top Echelon’s mission statement, our focus on these areas is designed to help recruiting firms make more placements.

The four areas are as follows:

  1. Layout/design
  2. Navigation/functionality
  3. Search engine optimization (SEO)
  4. Mobile availability (responsive design)

Our recommendations are based upon over 15 years of providing website services for recruiting and staffing firms and our dedication to staying up-to-date on the latest in website tools and technology.

Remember, all we need to conduct a website evaluation is your firm’s website address, which you can submit by clicking on the link below:

The year 2012 was more like a compressed zip file than an actual year, 12 months condensed into what seemed like six.  The next time you turn around, it will be the Fourth of July . . . then Labor Day . . . then Christmas again.

Take the opportunity now for an evaluation.  Then you won’t have to worry about it.  The site you save may be your own.

Matt DeutschAt Top Echelon Network, we’re running a poll in the Members’ Area this week asking if Preferred Member recruiters are planning to re-design or update their firm’s website in 2013.

So far, it appears that a little less than half of recruiters participating in the poll plan to update their firm’s website.

Evaluating your own website can be a tricky business, especially when you’re busy working your desk or running your firm—or both.  Not only that, but technology is constantly changing and evolving, and that includes life on the Internet.

What does a good recruiting website look like?  What should it do?  How should it function?  All good questions and all questions that need to be answered before any re-designing or updating is done.

With that in mind, we’re currently offering FREE website evaluations to recruiting firms.  These evaluations will focus on the basics of what a recruiting firm’s website should look like and what it should do.

Specifically, these evaluations will include two aspects of your firm’s site: its form and its function.

FORM:

The look of the site—Is it clean, crisp, and professional?
The layout of the site—Does it have what’s called a “3-2-1 layout”?

FUNCTION:

The architecture of the site—Is it easy for visitors to navigate?
The functionality of the site—Can you post jobs to it and also to social media?
Whether or not the site has “responsive design”—Does it look good on smartphones and tablet devices?

All we need to conduct a website evaluation is your firm’s website address, which you can submit by clicking on the link below:

Click here for your FREE website evaluation!

Please note that you are under NO obligation and you don’t have to do anything to get your free evaluation other than submit your firm’s website address.  You can take any and all information that we provide and do with it as you see fit.

There are a lot of recruiters planning to re-design or update their site next year, and we want to help them make informed decisions so they can put themselves in the best position possible to make more placements in 2013!
