Welcome to the next installment of the “Top Echelon Recruiter Spotlight”!

In last week’s issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, we announced that Janet Miller of Computer Management, Inc. was celebrating her 25th anniversary as a Top Echelon Network Preferred Member.  This week, we’re recognizing a recruiter who is celebrating their 25th anniversary in the industry.

That recruiter, Lee Fierman of Gables Search Group, started in the recruiting industry in 1989.  However, the reason he’s the subject of this “Recruiter Spotlight” is because of his recent split placement with one of his trading partners.

The split placement was the first one between Shoulet and Fierman, and Shoulet was extremely complimentary about the work that Fierman did to help him close the deal. (See Shoulet’s comments below.)

Fierman has proven himself to be a quality Trading Partner during his time in the Network, and that quality was certainly on display during the process involved in this placement.  So we’d like to thank Lee and congratulate him on this placement, his 25 years as an executive recruiter, and for his place in the “Top Echelon Recruiter Spotlight”!

“I have to say I LOVE working with Lee!  He is a great sounding board, has a great sense of humor, and helped all the way through the process.  He screened his candidate well and was there to help every single step of the way.  He’s one of the best [Trading Partners] I’ve worked with.  Thanks, Lee, for all of your help with this one!”

(Editor’s note: Shoulet and Fierman have made one split placement together in Top Echelon Network.)

The 2014 Top Echelon Network Fall Conference might be next week in Chicago, but the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) Conference is THIS week at The Westin Galleria in Houston.

And we’re there right now!

Well, not all of us, but yours truly, IT Manager Todd Bossler, Top Echelon Contracting President Debbie Fledderjohann, and Senior Contract Administrator Jen Grimes are all in Houston at the moment.  We’re preparing for the official start of the conference, which is tonight.

The opening keynote address, scheduled for 5:15 p.m., is titled “You Win Some, You Lose Some: Keys to Handling Adversity and Success in the NFL and in Life” by Jamey Rootes, President of the Houston Texans.

The main days of the NAPS Conference are Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.  Those days will be filled with plenty of great sessions by some of the biggest trainers and speakers in the recruiting and staffing industry.  It goes without saying (although I’ll say it again) that we’re pleased to once again be a proud sponsor and promoter of the conference.

I know that many Top Echelon Network recruiters attend the NAPS Conference every year.  That’s why I want to invite those who are attending this year to visit us at our booth.  We love to see our customers face-to-face, shake their hand, and talk about what we can do to help them enjoy even more success as a recruiting firm.

As we’ve stated on numerous occasions before, we’re ALL about networking at Top Echelon, and that doesn’t include just our networking events (such as the Fall Conference).  It also includes important networking events within the industry like the NAPS Conference.

Click here to see the official agenda for this year’s NAPS Conference!

And in case you’re wondering, the 2015 NAPS Conference is scheduled for Monday, September 28, through Wednesday, September 30, at Boston Park Plaza.

As you might have already guessed, we’ll be there, too!

There is so much goodness packed into this blog post that I can hardly stand it:

  • The recruiters highlighted below have made seven Network placements together.
  • These recruiters have also made three of those seven Network placements during a recent 18-day span.
  • The average placement fee of those three placements was over $40,000.
  • Both of these recruiters will be in attendance at the rapidly upcoming 2014 Top Echelon Network Fall Conference.

The conference is “rapidly upcoming” because it will be held on Tuesday, September 23, and Wednesday, September 24, at the Sheraton O’Hare in Chicago.  You can still register for the Fall Conference, and I strongly encourage you to do so, if you have the opportunity.

That’s because when you attend networking events like the Fall Conference, you meet other recruiters who can turn into valued Trading Partners . . . Trading Partners like Mary Anne Buckley and Stephanie McGinty.

After all, who wouldn’t want to make three Network placements in an 18-day span with an average placement fee of $40,000?

I can hardly stand it.

And I can hardly stand the fact that YOU might not be attending the Fall Conference.  There are 90 recruiters who have already made the decision to go, and you can, too.  Register today in the Members’ Area with a credit card.  It’s quick, easy, and painless.

And if you have questions about how you can enjoy more success in Top Echelon, then call ME at 330.455.1433, x156.

Below are the split jobs that were recently filled by Top Echelon Network recruiters.  But before we get to those, though, I want to mention a pair of recruiters who recently made their first Network split placements in Top Echelon!  Those recruiters are Lois Rupkey of Byrnes & Rupkey, Inc. and Shelli Saunders of PharmacistRecruiters.com.

Neither recruiter has been in Top Echelon Network for very long.  Byrnes & Rupkey, Inc. joined the Network on May 28 of this year, while PharmacistRecruiters.com joined exactly three months earlier, on February 28, 2014.  In fact, Shelli has already made her second split placement, and this one was ALSO with Melissa Truax of Health Careers, Inc.

And since I mentioned Melissa, her firm, Premier Health Careers, joined the Network on January 10, 2014.  Since joining, Melissa has made four split placements.  So as you can see, a recruiter CAN enjoy success quickly in Top Echelon Network . . . and these recruiters are the proof!

So, as I was saying, below are the split jobs that were recently filled by Top Echelon Network recruiters:

  • Production Supervisor
  • Physician
  • Civil Engineer
  • Continuous Improvement Engineer
  • Human Resource Manager

Okay . . . so maybe relationships aren’t really that “secret” when it comes to enjoying success in a recruiter network like Top Echelon.

After all, “Regular communication with another Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiter” has been the number-one reason placements are made in the Network for the past 100 years or so.  (I might be off by a year or two.  I’ll have to do some research to come up with the exact number.)

Anyway, one of the placements highlighted in this week’s edition of “‘Comments’ and Compliments” has a rather unique twist.  That twist is this: the placement was a result not of a relationship that the job order recruiter had with the candidate recruiter, but rather a relationship that another recruiter in the job order recruiter’s office had with the candidate recruiter.

That’s the beauty of really great relationships, especially in a split placement network.  They grow exponentially, and you never know how far they can reach and how much good they can do.

And of course, there are other compliments and split placement success stories below.  Great Trading Partners, productive websites, finely tuned working relationships . . . this is the kind of stuff that happens every week in Top Echelon Network.

It’s really not that much of a secret.  Quality recruiters = quality placements.

If you have questions about how YOU can enjoy more success in Top Echelon, then call Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CERS at 330.455.1433, x156.

Congratulations to everybody who made split placements this week!
