At Top Echelon, we’re constantly upgrading both the Big Biller recruiting software and our split placement network software. So we’re pleased to announce the following updates:

1. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) — A new user security setting has been added that allows you to enable Multi-Factor Authentication for an additional layer of account security. In addition, the Main Contact on the account has the ability to mandate MFA for all active users within the agency.

2. Ability to Print Placement Forms — We’ve added print functionality to the top right-hand corner of Completed Placement Forms.

3. User Session Tracking — Those with user management permissions now have the ability to view and manage other user sessions from their corresponding User Profile page. This allows you to see the user’s active session details, including the last time they were active and the ability to revoke a given session at any time.

4. Placements Removed from In Play — Candidates are now removed from the In Play view, and count, when moved to the Placement stage of the Pipeline.

5. New Network Notification: Activity Details Shared — We’ve added the ability to receive a notification (in-software and via email) when a Network trading partner shares Activity Details for your Candidate or Job.

6. Comments Card on Network Jobs — This new card allows you to document your own internal comments and notes for Network Jobs that you’re working.

For those of you who don’t know, Top Echelon Network recruiters share the following information during Virtual Core Group teleconference call meetings:

  • Hot job orders and candidates
  • Information about the activity they’re seeing in the marketplace
  • Ideas for increased production on their desks and within their agencies

These are the activities that lead most directly to making more split placements in our recruiting network. These teleconference calls DO result in placements. If they didn’t, we wouldn’t keep offering them.

Below is the agenda for each Virtual Core Group meeting:

  1. Welcome
  2. Roll call of the members on the call
  3. I will share with you the newest software updates to both the Network and the Big Biller recruiting software.
  4. Members will share their hot jobs with corresponding group discussion.
  5. I will direct a software and Network protocol Q&A session to close the call.

Ideally, this will allow you to take away more from the meeting than just hot jobs. Hopefully, it will help make you more knowledgeable in terms of the Top Echelon community.

It’s been proven time and time again that when Network recruiters share this kind of information and they share it on a consistent basis, they make more split placements together.

If you’d like to join one of the groups listed above or if you’d like to start a new group, please contact me.

We’ve conducted a number of polls about the COVID-19 virus in the legacy version of the Top Echelon Network software . . . so how about a couple more? (We thought you’d agree.)

This time, we decided to focus on the lockdown restrictions that were imposed and are now in the process of slowly being lifted throughout the country. But are looser restrictions a good idea?

Let’s see what Top Echelon Network members had to say . . .

Once restrictions are lifted, how quickly will you return to your normal activities?

The choice of answers that we provided is listed below, along with the percentage of recruiters that selected each one:

  • Immediately! — 51.7%
  • I’ll wait to see what happens with the virus. — 36.2%
  • I’ll continue to limit contact and activities indefinitely. — 12.1%

And here’s the second poll question that we posed . . .

What do you think of the lockdown restrictions that are being lifted across the country?

The choice of answers that we provided is listed below, along with the percentage of recruiters that selected each one:

  • It’s about time! — 21.4%
  • It’s a good idea as long as caution is exercised. — 42.9%
  • I am 100% neutral about this issue. — 1.8%
  • I’d wait a little while longer. — 17.9%
  • It’s WAY too early to be lifting restrictions. — 16.1%

Summary:

Clearly, more than half of recruiters participating in the poll (51.7%) plan to start normal activities “immediately” upon restrictions being lifted. In addition, a combined 64.3% are of the opinion that loosening restrictions is a good idea.

While a healthy number of people appear ready to exercise extreme caution, they still appear to be in the minority. This is evidenced by the percentage of members who plan to “continue to limit contact and activities indefinitely” (12.1%) and claim that it’s “WAY too early to be lifting restrictions” (16.1%).

Analysis and Conclusion:

The thing about coronavirus polls is that opinions and answers can change over time. That’s because things happen quickly. (Think for a moment about how much has happened during the past six weeks.)

One thing is for sure, though. People are desperate to return to some semblance of normality. When that will occur, though, is the topic of much debate, since there is so much uncertainty surrounding both the topic and, of course, the virus.

Hindsight, as they say, is 20/20. In no situation is that more applicable than during a pandemic. Because as much as has happened during the past six weeks, the next six weeks promise to be action-packed, as well.
