Today, Steve Zollner of The Sunridge Group is celebrating his agency’s second anniversary as a member of Top Echelon’s recruiting network! (Actually, we don’t know if he’s actually celebrating or not. We’d like to think so, but . . .)

Steve should also be celebrating because he’s the Recruiter of the Week in TE! And there is yet a third reason why he should be celebrating. He has three completed split placements in this week’s issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Steve Zollner: productive and versatile

Steve Zollner of The Sunridge Group

Steve Zollner

Steve, who places sales professionals in the Enterprise Software space, made three Network splits in 2016. He followed that up with two more splits in 2017. This year, though, he’s been on fire. (Not literally, though . . . that we know of.) So far this year, Steve has made eight deals in Top Echelon Network.

And as an illustration of his versatility, Steve has made his 13 career TE placements with eight different split recruiting partners. That many placements in two years is a testament to his commitment to the Network and his willingness to make split placements.

So congratulations to Steve Zollner, both for his agency’s second anniversary and also for being named Recruiter of the Week in Top Echelon!

And if you’d like to know how YOU can enjoy more Network success, please contact Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS. You can do so by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

Steve Kohn and Affinity Executive Search have done it again! Actually, not only did the TE agency make a Forbes magazine “Best of” list, but it made two lists!

Last year, Affinity Executive Search ranked #64 on the “America’s Best Executive Recruiting Firms” list. This year, the agency is ranked #43 on that list. However, it’s also ranked #75 on the list of “Best Professional Recruiting Firms”!

Two lists for the price of one

The list of “Best Professional Recruiting Firms” ranks 250 professional search firms, defined as companies that place candidates in roles with less than $100,000 in annual income. “America’s Best Executive Recruiting Firms” ranks 250 executive search firms, defined as companies that place candidates in positions with at least $100,000 in annual pay.

The performance of Affinity Executive Search in Top Echelon’s recruiting network speaks for itself:

  • 24 years as a member firm in the Network
  • 293 total placements
  • $2.4 million cash-in

Steve Kohn is the founder and president of Affinity Executive Search. He is also a perennial top producer and well-respected member of our network. Below is just a sampling of what his split recruiting partners think of him.

Last year, there were multiple Top Echelon Network agencies on the Forbes lists. So if your agency is on this year’s lists, then let us know! Send an email to marketing@topechelon.com.

In the meantime, congratulations to Steve Kohn and Affinity Executive Search on this outstanding achievement!

(Editor’s note: This is the first Network split placement that Scott and Steve have made together in Top Echelon.)

We’re back with the biggest TE recruiting fees for the first quarter of 2018, and once again, Shree Kumar of Max Populi, LLC is in the mix!

Well, she’s more than just in the mix. She boasted the top recruiting fee once again, this time a whopping $68,224. That was one of two fees that’s she scored in Top Echelon that has been over $60,000. (The other was a $68,200 split with Darcy Morgan of GoRecruitMe.)

Three of the biggest TE recruiting fees in the first quarter were at least $60,000. And for those who are interested, all positions were in the Healthcare industry: Neurosurgery Senior Advisor, Chief Medical Director, and Primary Care Physician.

What’s also interesting is the number of newer members that are on the list below. That just goes to show that you don’t have to be a tenured member of our recruiting network to score big fees.

Last but certainly not least, there’s a recruiter who’s represented twice on that list. The recruiter in question is David Austin of Austin Technology Resources. David split two fees of $33,750 each. So he’s already received a substantial return on his Network investment for 2018.

And there are still three quarters to go!

Congratulations to Nancy, Shree, Shelli, and everybody who scored big recruiting fees in Top Echelon’s split network during the second quarter!

Top Echelon determines the monthly and quarterly winners of its Network split recruiting awards in four distinct categories, which are listed below:

1.) Recruiter of the Month
2.) Largest Split Fee of the Month
3.) Recruiter of the Quarter
4.) Largest Split Fee of the Quarter

The winners of these awards are only announced in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, usually (but not always) in the issue following the conclusion of each month and/or quarter.

I don’t know about you, but it felt like winter would never end in Ohio. In fact, it felt like there was six months of winter this year. So I’m very much excited about the upcoming California Regional Core Group meeting!

Top Echelon Network recruiters in California have been meeting for the past few years. It’s been a successful event, which is why we’re holding the meeting again in 2018.

California, here we come!

As you might imagine, I have some information regarding this meeting, including the location. That information is below:

Hotel Irvine
17900 Jamboree Road
Irvine, CA  92614

Here is some additional information that I’d like to pass along regarding this event:

  • The date: Thursday, June 21
  • The time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • The cost: $55 per person
  • Light breakfast and lunch included.

There are five main goals associated with this Regional Core Group meeting:

1. Network—Just talking and engaging with one another is tremendously valuable.

2. Strengthen relationships—There’s nothing better than meeting existing split recruiting partners on a face-to-face basis.

3. Build new relationships—Okay, this might better than strengthening existing relationship. Be on the safe side and do both.

4. Find help on your searches—You want to close deals and make placements. The other recruiters at this meeting can help you do that.

5. Learn and share with your peers—“Iron sharpens iron.” Everybody works their desk differently and everybody has advice and insights that you don’t. Share hot candidates, job orders, and tips for success!

Regional Core Group meetings are just one of the recruiter networking events that Top Echelon offers. We also have Virtual Core Group meetings, and of course, our annual National Convention and Fall Conference. I recommend that you participate in at least one of these networking avenues. They increase your chances of making more split placements in the Network.

If you’d like to attend the upcoming California Regional Core Group meeting, then please contact me. You can do so at 330.455.1433, x156 or via email at drea@topechelon.com.

Contrary to popular belief, offering contract staffing services to your clients is NOT difficult. As a result, making contract placements is NOT difficult. There is a simple process for both, and Top Echelon can tell you all about it!

In fact, we have a FREE webinar training video just for you. (And the other members of Top Echelon Network. We didn’t mean just for you. You’re special and all, but . . . c’mon.)

The webinar video in question is “A Simplified Process for Contract Placements)

A simple (and profitable) process

You can quickly add contract staffing to your business model and generate weekly income. It’s EASY… if you have the right process. The process used for contract staffing is very similar to direct hire recruiting with a couple of key tweaks.

If you outsource the back office tasks (financial, legal, and administrative), you can make contract placements in a matter of hours thanks to these five steps that Top Echelon Business Development Analyst John Lindesmith of Top Echelon will discuss in detail:

  • Generate client and candidate interest.
  • Get the numbers from your back office.
  • Screen and qualify candidates.
  • Present the candidate to the client company.
  • And more!

If you have additional questions, we encourage you to contact us. You can reach us by telephone at 888.627.3678. Stop leaving money on the table! Ask your clients for contract job orders, fill them, and make more money.

Watch this FREE training video!

Remember: Top Echelon also offers FREE training sessions as part of our “Recruiter Coaching Series” of webinars. We offer these webinars on the second Tuesday of every month.

In addition, Top Echelon offers an extensive library of recruiter training videos. We invite you to browse through these videos, which are presented by some of the leading trainers in the recruiting profession.
