Today is Christmas Eve! Tomorrow is Christmas!

Top Echelon Content and Communications Manager Matthew Deutsch

Matthew Deutsch

And we have 12 more split placements in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

Although all of them are merry, there is one that is VERY merry. That would be the split placement made by Amy Chapman of Key People Staffing and Chip Yaggi of Chip Yaggi.

Amy and Chip placed an Equipment Design Engineering Manager to earn a split recruiting fee of $56,250 at 25%.

Also in the holiday spirit are TE Network recrutiers Maria Hemminger of MJ Recruiters, LLC and Adam Krueger of Sun Recruiting, Inc. Maria and Adam placed a Product Engineer to score a big, fat 30% recruiting fee.

The total of that fee? The handsome sum of $36,000.

And last by certainly not least, we must highlight Steve Torosian of Forest Recruiting Group aka Affiliated Recruiters Network. That’s because Steve recently made his first split placement as a member of TE Network!

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our placements:

  • Names of the trading partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE Network’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in TE Network for the period from December 15 through December 21, 2025.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your split placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Once again, congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in TE Network!

If you’re a newer TE Network member and you’d like to enjoy more success in our recruiter network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

We’re nearing the end of our “Networking Tips” series of blog posts. This one might be the most important!

Top Echelon Network Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CERS

Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS

Why is that? Because the more things change, the more they stay the same.

That old axiom definitely applies to this tip, especially in the world of recruiting. In short, the personal touch gets results!

Recruiting is all about relationships, namely because there are so many people involved in the process. As industry trainer Barb Bruno is fond of saying, there are people on both sides of the sale . . . and they both talk back!

That’s why this week’s networking tip is so important, even though it doesn’t deal specifically with candidates or hiring officials. Instead, it deals with other recruiters: your trading partners.

When it comes to making split placements, those are the relationships that can really make or break a deal.

So, our ninth “Networking Tip” is . . .

Use technology to communicate quickly, but remember that it’s the personal touch that gets results!

  1. Submit job orders and search for job orders in our recruiting network daily.
  2. Email your job orders to your inner circle and Core Group of trading partners.
  3. Call each trading partner who received your email.

As a member of TE Network, you should allow technology to provide you with a competitive edge. This is especially the case if you’re also a user of our recruiting software.

If you have a good job order or candidate, submit that job order or candidate to the Network. In this fashion, your job orders and candidates will receive the most exposure in the least amount of time.

When you submit job orders and candidates to the Network, they’re searchable by over 1,000 other recruiters.

After submitting your job orders and candidates, we recommend that you also email them to those trading partners you feel might be able to help you. This will increase the number of responses you receive.

If you really want to see results, personally call each recruiter who received your email. This method works the best.

Many recruiters have told us that the personal phone call is the real key to receiving assistance.

Another way to gain productivity is to use the Network Candidates sourcing tool.

However, keep in mind the central theme of this tip. No matter how much technology gives you a competitive edge, it’s the personal touch that ultimately gets results!

If you have any questions, please contact me by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

It’s that time of year again!

As we get ready to turn the calendar to a brand-new year, we want to make sure you know our office hours for the New Year’s Day holiday.

Rather than make you guess (which might be fun for us, but not for you), here are the details:

New Year’s Day holiday hours

The Top Echelon Software offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of New Year’s Day.

These hours apply to:

Our offices will re-open for business as usual at 8 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, January 2, 2026.

As we begin a new year, we want to take a moment to say thank you. We’re grateful for your continued trust, your commitment as Network members, and the relationships we’ve built together.

We hope the new year brings you success, health, and happiness.

Happy New Year from all of us at Top Echelon!

We’re continuously updating both the Top Echelon recruiting software and our split placement network software.

So we’re pleased to announce the following software updates!

1. Careers Page Upgrade

We’ve rolled out a visual upgrade to the Careers Page, developed in conjunction with our ongoing user interface improvements. This change enhances the overall appearance for job seekers, improves update speeds and performance, and lays the groundwork for future enhancements. All existing links and feeds will continue to work and will redirect automatically, so no action is required on your end.

2. [PRO] Configure Custom Careers Page Domain

You can now customize your Careers Page URL to reflect your brand by replacing the default company.topechelon.com/careers with a branded subdomain (for example, jobs.[company].com or careers.[company].com. This domain masking feature keeps your branding front and center, delivering a seamless experience for candidates.

3. Multi-User Filtering on Dashboards

You can now select and view multiple users’ data across the People, Company, and Job Dashboards, as well as in the user filter of the Pipeline summary widget on the main dashboard. Each filter remembers your selection, giving you more flexibility to review and track work across your team.

4. Inline Edit Layout Update

The inline edit experience in Datasheets has been redesigned to make better use of the available space. Fields now display in a vertical layout instead of horizontal, improving readability and making edits easier to review and complete.

5. Talin.ai Integration

This new integration connects Top Echelon with Talin’s AI-powered sourcing and outreach tools. It allows you to automate candidate and hiring manager searches and ranking, launch personalized multi-channel campaigns across LinkedIn, email, and SMS, and sync all activity and records back to TE Recruit in real time to eliminate manual data entry. You can start a free trial with Talin at any time. For accounts with three or more users, Talin also offers live demos to walk through the platform and its features.

6. [BETA] Dark Mode

Dark mode offers a new way to personalize your theme, reduce eye strain, and create a more comfortable viewing experience, especially in low-light environments. Another step toward giving you more control over how you work best.

Top Echelon offers a free monthly webinar as part of its Expert Recruiter Coaching Series.

Top Echelon Content and Communications Manager Matthew Deutsch

Matthew Deutsch

These webinars touch upon a variety of recruiter-related topics. These topics deal with both job candidates and clients. As always, our goal with these webinars is to help agency recruiters and search consultants just like YOU make more placements.

We record these webinars for recruiters who can’t attend the live presentation, and we’re now pleased to offer the video from our most recent webinar by industry trainer Rob Mosley of Next Level Exchange.

The title of that webinar (and corresponding training video) is “Positioning Your Value Early and Often as a Recruiter.”

Below is the official description for this training video:

— — —

Tailored positioning takes the conventional elevator pitch and turns it on its head because it’s about the client and candidate . . . and NOT us. And that’s the topic of the next webinar video in Top Echelon’s Expert Recruiter Coaching Series by Rob Mosley of Next Level Exchange!

Rob Mosley of Next Level Exchange

Tailored positioning provides a repeatable approach to answering the question your prospect may be saying or just thinking: “What do you and your organization do?” Your response to this inquiry must endeavor to position your work through the lens of the individuals you’re speaking with and what matters most to them or their organization.

A tailored positioning statement is designed to capture attention in less than 60 seconds and create interest in learning more. This is the beginning of true Customer Value Engagement.

Positioning your value early and often is one of the most important things you can do as a recruiter, both when engaging clients and communicating with candidates. So watch this training video and start “Positioning Your Value Early and Often”!
