You may have already seen the blog post in The Pinnacle about last week’s poll in the Members’ Area, which revealed that the majority of recruiters intend to use the new MEGA Database to some degree.

You may have also already seen the recent blog post by Todd Bossler regarding the fact that you can now watch all three webinar videos about the new MEGA (overview, candidate recruiter side, and job order recruiter side).

Before I get too far, remember that the MEGA Database allows Top Echelon Network recruiters who use the Big Biller software to share information more quickly and easily.  However, if you’re a Network recruiter and you don’t use Big Biller, you can STILL use the MEGA.  The only caveat is that while you can perform searches in the MEGA, your information will not be included in MEGA searches conducted by other Network recruiters.

That being said, not every Network recruiter has opted-in to the MEGA Database yet, so I’d like to both invite and encourage you to do so.

To borrow from the Top Echelon Help Center, by opting-in to the MEGA Database, you’ll have the opportunity to have every default resume in your Big Biller database searched by other Network recruiters in a blinded fashion.

The recruiter conducting the keyword search will NOT be able to view your resumes, but ONLY your name and the number of your resumes that match their keyword search criteria.  Once that recruiter knows how many resumes you have that match their search criteria, they can request your help.

As I mentioned earlier, only Network agencies that are using the Big Biller software can have their resumes indexed within the MEGA Database.

Click here to find out how to opt-in to the MEGA Database!

Once you’ve opted-in, your resumes will be indexed and begin showing up in MEGA searches conducted by other Top Echelon Network recruiters within 24 business hours.

If you have any questions or if you need any help, please give us a call at 330.455.1433.  We’re here to help you, and we want you to be as successful as possible in our Network.

Yes, Top Echelon Network Preferred Members make a lot of placements with their Hiring Hook recruitment websites.

Yes, Top Echelon Network Preferred Members make a lot of placements through “Regular communication with another Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiter.”

And YES, you should be using the new MEGA Database!  (Opt-in to the MEGA, if you haven’t already!  Act now!  Trainers are standing by to assist you!)

However, recruiters are still making placements through a variety of other ways in the Network, and one of those ways is “Searching Top Echelon’s split databases.”  If you haven’t yet started using the new MEGA, then you should still be searching the split databases, and in a perfect world, you’d be doing both.

We want Network recruiters to make more placements any way that they can make them.  It could be with their website, it could be with the new MEGA (yes!), or it could be by searching the split databases.

Ultimately, the choice is yours.  We’re here to help, and we want to provide you with any and all tools necessary to help you succeed.

Below are the split jobs that were filled recently by Network recruiters:

  • Mechanical Engineer
  • Quality Engineer
  • Control Systems Engineer
  • SalesForce.com Administrator
  • Senior Manager of Tax Accounting & Compliance
  • Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Call Center Trainer

On November 22, Terry Rhodes of NewCareers will be celebrating his 20th anniversary in Top Echelon Network.

During the past 20 years, Rhodes has made 128 Network placements and become a $1 Million Producer (no small feat, by the way).  Despite all of that, he’s STILL making the effort to build recruiter relationships with other Preferred Members, even if they haven’t been in the Network that long.

Take this most recent placement with Lois Rupkey of Byrnes & Rupkey, Inc.  She became a Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiter in May of this year!  That didn’t matter, though, as Rhodes reached out to Rupkey and eventually made a split placement with her.

It’s the investment in Top Echelon that recruiters like Terry Rhodes make on a daily basis that is the main reason the Network provides as much value as it does.  As long as the desire to build recruiter relationships and make split placements exist, the Network will continue to thrive and continue to provide a substantial return to recruiters who choose to make the same investment.

Congratulations to everybody who made split placements this week!

For the past two years, we’ve compiled a rather impressive library of training videos for Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiters.

These videos, which are recorded versions of live training webinars, are designed to help Network recruiters enjoy more success.  In other words, they’re designed to help Network recruiters make more split placements.

These videos are located in the Top Echelon Help Center, but I’ll be highlighting one per week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog for the next several weeks.  Most of these videos are “evergreen,” meaning that they’re filled with information that is timeless in terms of what it takes to be successful in Top Echelon Network.

Below is the Network training video that I’m highlighting this week.

Webinar Video: “Who, When, What, Where, How, and Why”

Live Webinar Date: June 18, 2013

Description: Are these questions you ask yourself?  Do you find yourself reluctant to share your job orders with the Network . . . or hesitant to share more of your jobs?  Join Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CERS for this FREE Training Tuesday webinar, during which he’ll “break it down” in terms of the value of sharing your job orders.  In this “no holds barred, no punches pulled” session, Drea empowers you with the knowledge and the motivation you need to succeed in the Network and make more placements!

Video Length: 12 minutes, 3 seconds

RECRUITER POLL QUESTION:

We recently conducted a poll of Top Echelon Network recruiters by posting a question in the Members’ Area.

That question was as follows:

How often do you plan to use the new MEGA Database?

POLL RESULTS:

The choice of answers that we provided is listed below, along with the percentage of recruiters that selected each one:

  • As much as I can! — 28.4%
  • A little at first, to test it out. — 46.9%
  • I need more training before I start. — 6.2%
  • Not at all. — 16.0%
  • There’s a new MEGA Database? — 2.5%

ANALYSIS:

Since we first introduced the new MEGA Database last month, Top Echelon Network recruiters have been abuzz about the potential and the possibilities that the information sharing system offers them.

But how many of them plan to actually use it?  According to the results of this poll, quite a few of them plan to use it to varying degrees.

In fact, nearly a third of poll participants (28.4%) indicated that they plan to use it “As much as I can!”  In addition, nearly half of recruiters (46.9%) plan to use the MEGA “A little at first, to test it out.”

Another 6.2% of those who responded chose “I need more training before I start” as their answer, and 16% flat-out indicated that they’re not going to use the new MEGA Database at all.

Should we address the 2.5% that asked, “There’s a new MEGA Database?”  Um . . .

CONCLUSION:

Okay, so the conclusion is that the vast majority of Top Echelon Network recruiters plan to use the new MEGA to some degree.  However, we understand that some trial and error will be involved and that training is essential.

That’s why I’m providing links to our three webinar videos about the new MEGA Database.  All three are conducted by IT Manager Todd Bossler—so just like Smuckers, they have to be good.

You can either login to the Members’ Area to access these MEGA Database webinar videos, OR you can simply click on the links below.  (You’re already logged in . . . right?)
