Success in Top Echelon’s recruiting network can almost come out of nowhere. You might not make a Network placement for an extended period of time, and then . . . WHAM, you make a handful, right in a row!

Such has been the case for Crystal Dunson Watson of Dunson & Associates, who has closed four split placements in the Network during the past five months. In addition, she has made those four splits with four different trading partners.

Not only that, but the fees associated with two of those splits were also extremely healthy, tipping the scales at $28,500 and $32,500, respectively.

Crystal, who started in the recruiting profession in 2005, places people in a wide range of industries, including IT, Healthcare, Professional Services, and Training. And as you can see by the comments listed below, her split recruiting partners think highly of her abilities and her contributions during the placement process.

So congratulations to Crystal Dunson Watson for her production and success in Top Echelon Network and for being named Recruiter of the Week!

Editor’s note: The selection process for the Recruiter of the Week Award is based upon multiple criteria, including production within Top Echelon Network, adherence to the Network Policies and Golden Rules, the spirit of networking that the recruiter displays while interacting with other members, and the level of commitment that the recruiter exhibits in regards to their Network membership overall. The Recruiter of the Week is a true embodiment of The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network—Quality, Communication, Trust, and Active Participation.

Top candidates are in short supply these days.

There’s no doubt about that. The good news is that job orders are plentiful. The less-than-good news is that it’s not exactly easy to fill those job orders with candidates that your clients actually want to hire.

But wait . . . I have more good news.

Your Top Echelon Network split recruiting partners have the perfect candidate for your client’s job order!

This has been proven time and time again in the Network’s 31-year history. In fact, we have more examples of this below.

If you don’t have the candidate that your client wants, then leverage the resources of the Network to find that candidate. There’s a good chance there’s another member in the Network who has the candidate you’re looking for.

Find that member! And then find that candidate! And then place that candidate!

That, in a nutshell, is the formula for success in Top Echelon’s recruiter network.

If you want to enjoy more success in the Network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can reach Drea by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

“Justin really knows and understands the type of engineers we work with. He saw our ad go up and sent me this candidate immediately. The candidate interviewed, but was looking for a different level of position that my client did not have back in May. However, the position she wanted just came up this week. She was still available, and we were able to secure her position with my client. Thank you, Justin, for keeping an eye out for our jobs and submitting such a nice candidate!”

Here at Top Echelon, we LOVE to highlight successful split recruiting partnerships between Network members.

And we’re highlighting another such partnership in the next installment of our “Hot Sheet” series!

In fact, you could say that this trading partner relationship is running at full throttle in the Network. You could say that, but I just said it, so . . . what’s the point of you saying it, too?

Anyway, let’s get this show on the road!

The Players:

David Manns of Access Staffing
Wendy Jespersen of Alliance Search Group, Inc.

— — —

The Money:

David Manns has been a Network member for 11 years. Wendy Jespersen has been a member for a little over a year.

Despite these facts, the two of them have made six split placements since Wendy became a member. Those splits have totaled $103,250 in fees. Not bad for a year’s worth of work with one split partner.

(Login to the Members’ Area and check out their Recruiter Profiles to see the exact dollar amounts of their six placements.)

The Sizzle:

Okay, now it’s time for the sizzle. You know, the sizzle . . . the kind of sound you hear when somebody is cooking a nice, juicy steak. Hey, is anybody else hungry?

No? Well, read all about the success of this Top Echelon Network recruiting duo while I step out for lunch.

David Manns

“Wendy is a great partner. Her communication surpasses a long list of other partners that have come and gone from the Network. She keeps me in the loop as a partner, which is a motivator for me. As all recruiters know, when communication lacks from clients, it challenges us and drains the motivation for keeping up a search.

“Wendy doesn’t let anything fall through the cracks, and she is very organized and detailed-orientated with good clients. Most importantly, she gets the job done!”

Wendy Jespersen of Alliance Search Group, Inc.

Wendy Jespersen

“David was my first split with the network. He submitted qualified, quality candidates and took the time to understand what I needed for my clients. Since then, we have formed a mutually beneficial trading partner relationship. David is honest and ethical. His communication skills throughout the searches are excellent. He does what he says he will do. If he says he will assist in a split position, I know I can count on him to bring me high quality candidates.

“If we are under the gun with time to submit candidates, David will go the extra mile to help get candidates. If we run into any particular issues he is a good problem solving partner. We’ve had a lot of success together partnering up on searches and I look forward to many more to come.”

—Wendy Jespersen of Alliance Search Group, Inc.

“This is my fourth split with David since I joined the Network last fall. He has produced high-quality candidates for my searches and has proven to be a very valuable trading partner. He has proven to be dependable, and I can trust him with my top searches. So glad we had the opportunity to meet through TE. It’s been a win-win for both of us!”
