Few recruiters have been as successful in Top Echelon Network as Sean Napoles, CPC of Career Brokers, Inc.

Sean has won the Recruiter of the Year Award in the recruiting network on multiple occasions since joining Top Echelon as a Preferred Member recruiter on October 18, 2000.  (Happy 14th anniversary, Sean!)

During the past 14 years, he’s established himself as one of the premier exporters in the history of the Network, as well as a recruiter who embraces the Four Pillars of Top Echelon, especially the Pillar of Quality.  Anybody who partners with Sean on a search knows that it’s going to be a quality search.

Right now, Sean is on the verge of Top Echelon Network history.  No, it’s not because he has two split placements in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.  It’s because he has now made 199 placements during his tenure in the Network.

Once Sean makes his 200th Network placement, he will be in very select company as far as Top Echelon Network recruiters are concerned.  Heck, who are we kidding?  He’s already in select company.  Congratulations to Sean and everybody else who made split placements this week!

Speaking of which, below are the split jobs that were filled recently in the Network:

  • Progress Software Engineer
  • Management Consultant, PIM
  • President & CEO
  • Head of Tax
  • Unavailable (Okay . . .)
  • Controls Engineer
  • Production Supervisor

Halloween is on Friday.  So what’s the best way to enjoy a Happy Halloween!  Making split placements, of course!

Actually, we have quite an appropriate placement in this Halloween edition of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.  That’s because the comment associated with the placement describes how the job order “came back from the dead.”  Whereas that can be a bad thing when it comes to people (see The Walking Dead), it’s a GREAT thing when it comes to a job order!

Even better, it’s the first split placement between these two particular recruiters.  And that’s not all!

We also have a recruiter in this week’s edition who just made their first-EVER placement in Top Echelon Network.  That recruiter is Suzy Turnpaugh of Corporate Resources, LLC, who split with Network veteran Al Daum of Alan N. Daum & Associates, Inc.

Of course, you don’t have to make split placements to enjoy a Happy Halloween . . . but it sure does help.

Congratulations to everybody who made split placements this week!

It’s time to announce when Virtual Core Groups will be happening in Top Echelon Network during the month of November!

If it seems like I’m excited, that’s because I am—about Virtual Core Groups and also about the fact that Thanksgiving is next month.  Fortunately, the holiday is on the final Thursday of the month, and there are NO Virtual Core Group teleconference calls scheduled for that day, anyway.  (If there were, they would have been rescheduled, because we won’t be in the office on Thanksgiving Day.)

As I’ve mentioned on countless occasions before, Top Echelon Network recruiters share the following during Virtual Core Group meetings:

  • Hot job orders and candidates
  • Information about the activity they’re seeing
  • Ideas for increased production on their desks and within their firms

These are the activities that lead most directly to making more split placements in our Network, and placements HAVE been made as a direct result of these teleconference call meetings.

If you’re a new Preferred Member recruiter in Top Echelon, I strongly encourage you to join one of these existing Virtual Core Groups.  Not only that, but you could also start a new one.

Below is the full Virtual Core Group teleconference call schedule for “the month of the Turkey” (all times listed are Eastern Time):

For the past two years, we’ve compiled a rather impressive library of training videos for Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiters.

These videos, which are recorded versions of live training webinars, are designed to help Network recruiters enjoy more success.  In other words, they’re designed to help Network recruiters make more split placements.

These videos are located in the Top Echelon Help Center, but I’ll be highlighting one per week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog for the next several weeks.  Most of these videos are “evergreen,” meaning that they’re filled with information that is timeless in terms of what it takes to be successful in Top Echelon Network.

Below is the video that I’m highlighting this week.

Webinar Video: “How to Make Splits with Your Hiring Hook Website”

Live Webinar Date: April 16, 2013

Description:  Everything we do here at Top Echelon is geared toward one thing: helping YOU make more placements!  True, when it comes to the Network, those placements are split placements, but still: we want you to make more of them.  After all, when you’re successful, we’re successful.  We can’t be successful without you, so please, be successful. (Still with us?)

Video Length: 15 minutes, 9 seconds

RECRUITER POLL QUESTION:

We recently conducted a poll of Top Echelon Network recruiters by posting a question in the Members’ Area.

That question was as follows:

Which of the Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network is the MOST important?

POLL RESULTS:

The choice of answers that we provided is listed below, along with the percentage of recruiters that selected each one:

  • Quality — 3.5%
  • Communication — 27.1%
  • Trust — 58.8%
  • Active Participation — 10.6%

ANALYSIS:

When it comes to the Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network, it’s difficult for us to choose a favorite.  It’s like trying to choose a favorite child.

But YOU can choose!  So we asked you to do just that . . . and you chose Trust!

According to the results of this most recent poll, 58.8% of Top Echelon Network recruiters believe that “Trust” is the most important Pillar.  “Communication” was next at 27.1%, while “Active Participation” finished third at 10.6% and “Quality” was last at 3.5%.

(Well, Quality is never last.  Let’s call it fourth instead.)

CONCLUSION:

What the results of this poll show is that more than anything, recruiters want to trust one another in Top Echelon Network.  That represents the highest level of their priority.

That’s because when you trust another recruiter implicitly, you share information freely.  And when you share information freely, you make split placements more quickly.

So while it might be difficult for us to say that Trust is our favorite Pillar, it’s not that difficult for us to say that Trust is the Network’s most profitable Pillar.

To find out how YOU can build trust with other Network recruiters and enjoy more success in Top Echelon, contact Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CERS at 330.455.1433, x156.
