At Top Echelon, we love the smell of split placement fees in the morning . . . or in the afternoon . . . or even in the evening, for that matter.

All Apocalypse Now references aside, we have some plenty big fees in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. Specifically, we have the largest split placement fees in Top Echelon Network for the month of July!

As you can see below, Tom LaRosa of RML Specialty Group, LLC and Joe Cresci of Food Management Search accounted for the largest split fee. Tom and Joe placed a Data Engineer for a fee of $45K at 20%. So congratulations to Tom and Joe for their placement and for generating such a large fee!

As a reminder, Top Echelon determines the monthly and quarterly winners of its Network split fee recruiting awards in four distinct categories:

You know the old saying when it comes to split placements: “Half a loaf is better than none.”

And Top Echelon Network recruiters made a dozen split placements last week. Not a baker’s dozen, but a dozen.

And we have a photo of bread loaves at the top of this blog post, which contains all of the split placements that Network members made last week. (The blog post, not the bread loaves.)

And you may have noticed that those loaves are FULL loaves and not half loaves. You might ask why this is the case. To that question, I say, “You only have so much flexibility when it comes to stock photos.” A search for “half loaves of bread” does not return many results.

What DOES return results, though, is communicating on a regular basis with your TE trading partners. Specifically, it results in split placements . . . which represents the saying “Half a loaf is better than none.”

See how splits are a self-perpetuating feedback loop of ever-increasing levels of recruiting success?

We have quite the race brewing for the top spot in Top Echelon Network.

The reigning Top Echelon Recruiter of the Year, Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, still holds a slim lead over Trey Cameron of Cameron Craig Group. In fact, as of the writing of this blog post, less than $200K separates them in terms of their cash-in totals during the past 12 months.

In addition, Trey edged Michael for Recruiter of the Month honors during July. Although Michael made more splits, Trey’s placements generated about $7K more in revenue.

There’s a lot of year left, and it remains to be seen which of these recruiters will prevail before 2022 ends. The only thing we know for sure is that it will be an interesting journey!

Below is the information that we include with the Recruiters of the Month feature in Top Echelon Network:

  1. The top 10 recruiters for the month.
  2. The “cash-in” total for each recruiter during the month. (We base the order of the recruiters on their amount of “cash-in” dollars, as opposed to the number of split placements they made.)
  3. The number of splits that the recruiters made during the month.
  4. The date that each recruiter’s agency joined Top Echelon Network.
  5. The number of splits each recruiter has made during their Network career.
  6. Each recruiter’s cash-in total for their Network career.

With this format, there are more than likely going to be ties among recruiters, especially with those members who have made split placements with each other.

Sure, a lot of recruiters went on vacation last month. You might have been one of them.
