Early Bird Registration for Columbus Now Available!
As you read this, I’m in St. Louis, Mo., for the annual National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) Conference. Most of you know that Top Echelon is a big supporter of NAPS (we’re once again a sponsor of the conference) and of continuous training and education.
This is also one of the reasons that we hold our own conferences every year. This year, though, we’ve implemented a different format, opting for six smaller regional conferences as opposed to the two bigger ones that we’ve traditionally held. All in all, the smaller regionals have been a success. Just recently, we had over 35 recruiters attend the event in Las Vegas, which was the fifth of our six regional conferences for 2010.
The sixth and final event will be held in Columbus, Ohio, and the dates for that conference are Thursday, November 11, and Friday, November 12, at the Embassy Suites Columbus. In fact, Early Bird Registration for the conference is now available in the Members’ Area. As has been the case for our recent regionals, the price of Early Bird Registration is just $99 per person.
The Early Bird Registration period will last until Monday, October 25. After that day, the price will revert to the Regular Registration price of $129 per person. The agenda for Columbus will be similar to the agendas that we’ve had at the other regionals throughout the year. The main speaker for the Columbus conference will be Barb Bruno, CPC/CTS of Good as Gold Training. Barb was the speaker for our event in Kansas City earlier this year, and she did a tremendous job. We look forward to what she has for us in Columbus.
Also remember that Top Echelon Internet Strategies Manager Todd Bossler will be conducting another special Big Biller training session on Thursday, November 11. For those who would like to attend that session, the cost is $20. Just click the appropriate box on the registration page in order to sign up for the training, and the total will be added to your final conference price.
Training, both software training and general recruiter training, is important, but the main reason that we hold these events is for networking purposes. When recruiters get together and meet one another face-to-face, good things happen. They build Trading Partner relationships, they continue to cultivate the relationships that they’ve already created with other recruiters, and they trade hot job orders and candidates . . . all the things necessary for split placements.
If you’re ready to gear up for next year and maximize your Membership in 2011, I encourage you to join us in Columbus, especially if you live in the area. Although any Network recruiter can attend these events, they’ve been specifically tailored for those who live in the region.
