Top Echelon Email Verification Rolling Out in April
At Top Echelon, protecting your data and maintaining a secure user experience remain top priorities.
As part of our ongoing commitment to security, we will begin rolling out an important update in April that introduces email verification for certain login attempts.
This enhancement is designed to add an extra layer of protection to your account without disrupting your day-to-day workflow.
While the process is simple, we want to make sure you know exactly what to expect before it reaches your account.
What’s Changing?
With this update, you will be asked to verify your identity when logging in under specific circumstances. These include situations where the system detects a login attempt that may be outside your normal usage pattern.
For example, verification may be required if you log in from an unrecognized device or browser. Similarly, using incognito or private browsing mode may trigger a verification request. Clearing your browser cookies can also prompt this additional step, since it removes stored session data that helps identify your device.
When one of these situations occurs, a verification code will be sent to the email address associated with your account. You will simply enter that code to confirm your identity and proceed with your login.
Who Will Be Affected?
This update will apply to users of TE Recruit and TE Network. However, there is one important exception.
If you already have Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled on your account, this change will not affect you. MFA already provides an added layer of security, so no additional verification steps will be required under this update.
What You Should Do Now
There’s no immediate action required, but there is one important step you should take ahead of the rollout.
Please make sure you have access to the email address associated with your TE Recruit or TE Network login. Since verification codes will be sent to that email, you will need access to it in order to complete the login process once the update reaches your account.
Taking a moment now to confirm your email access can help you avoid any delays or interruptions later.
Why Are We Doing This?
Security threats continue to evolve, and login credentials are a common target. By adding email verification for new or unfamiliar login attempts, this update helps ensure that only authorized users can access your account.
At the same time, the process has been designed to remain quick and user-friendly. In most cases, you won’t notice any difference in your normal login routine. The additional step only appears when needed to protect your account.
What to Expect Moving Forward
Once the rollout begins in April, the update will be applied gradually across accounts. When it reaches yours, you’ll encounter the verification step the next time you log in.
From there, it’s a simple process: check your email, enter the verification code, and continue your session.
We’re sharing this update in advance so you can be prepared and confident in what’s coming. Our goal is to strengthen security while keeping your experience smooth and efficient.
