What’s better than a recruiter making their first split placement in TE Network?

Top Echelon Content and Communications Manager Matthew Deutsch

Matthew Deutsch

Two recruiters making their first split placement in TE Network, that’s what!

And this week, those recruiters are Danny Ghandial of Alliance Consulting Company and Laurie Harney of PTF Consulting, LLC.

Specifically, Danny made a split with Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, placing a HVAC Technician to earn a flat recruiting fee of $11,180.

In addition, Laurie made her split with Keith Cornelison of Personnel Resources, placing an AI Technical Architect to earn a $27,872 fee at 20%.

But of course, those were not the only two split placements made in TE Network recently. Feast your eyes on the deals listed below and may you also enjoy success as a member of the Network!

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our split placements:

  • Names of the trading partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE Network’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in TE Network for the period from March 16 through March 22, 2026.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your split placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Once again, congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in TE Network!

If you’re a newer TE Network member and you’d like to enjoy more success in our recruiter network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

At Top Echelon, protecting your data and maintaining a secure user experience remain top priorities.

As part of our ongoing commitment to security, we will begin rolling out an important update in April that introduces email verification for certain login attempts.

This enhancement is designed to add an extra layer of protection to your account without disrupting your day-to-day workflow.

While the process is simple, we want to make sure you know exactly what to expect before it reaches your account.

What’s Changing?

With this update, you will be asked to verify your identity when logging in under specific circumstances. These include situations where the system detects a login attempt that may be outside your normal usage pattern.

  • For example, verification may be required if you log in from an unrecognized device or browser.
  • Similarly, using incognito or private browsing mode may trigger a verification request.
  • Clearing your browser cookies can also prompt this additional step, since it removes stored session data that helps identify your device.

When one of these situations occurs, a verification code will be sent to the email address associated with your account. You will simply enter that code to confirm your identity and proceed with your login.

Who Will Be Affected?

This update will apply to users of TE Recruit and TE Network. However, there is one important exception.

If you already have Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled on your account, this change will not affect you. MFA already provides an added layer of security, so no additional verification steps will be required under this update.

What You Should Do Now

There’s no immediate action required, but there is one important step you should take ahead of the rollout.

Please make sure that you have access to the email address associated with your TE Recruit or TE Network login. Since verification codes will be sent to that email, you will need access to it in order to complete the login process once the update reaches your account.

Taking a moment now to confirm your email access can help you avoid any delays or interruptions later.

Why Are We Doing This?

Security threats continue to evolve and login credentials are a common target. By adding email verification for new or unfamiliar login attempts, this update helps ensure that only authorized users can access your account.

At the same time, the process has been designed to remain quick and user-friendly. In most cases, you won’t notice any difference in your normal login routine. The additional step only appears when needed to protect your account.

What to Expect Moving Forward

Once the rollout begins in April, the update will be applied gradually across accounts. When it reaches yours, you’ll encounter the verification step the next time you log in.

From there, it’s a simple process: check your email, enter the verification code, and continue your session.

We’re sharing this update in advance so that you can be prepared and confident in what’s coming. Our goal is to strengthen security while keeping your experience smooth and efficient.

Last year, recruiter Ann Boland of The Boland Group was inducted into the Top Echelon Hall of Fame.

Top Echelon Network Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CERS

Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS

Ann has been a recruiter and search consultant for 27 years, and The Boland Group joined TE Network in November of 2001.

Since then, Ann has made 76 split placements in the Network that have brought her a cash-in total of more than $995,000. (Very soon, she will be a member of TE’s exclusive Million Dollar Club.)

There are few, if any, recruiters who have more credibility than Ann, especially when it comes to her views on how to be successful in TE Network. That’s why when she tells you that you should attend the upcoming TE Connect Spring 2026 convention in Tampa, Florida . . . you should listen.

This is what Ann had to say recently on the TE Network Discussion Forum:

— — —

“New TE members, come to Tampa in April. You will NOT regret it. A veteran TE member encouraged me to go to a [TE] conference only a month after I joined. I hesitated because of the cost and (candidly) not knowing anyone. I’m SO glad I did because it has made all the difference. I’ve attended at least one conference every year since we joined TE and it covers all my firm’s TE expenses many times over. Without the conference, I’d never have worked with fabulous veterans like Steve Brody and Pat McCombs or current superstars like Amy Chapman and Christina Boudreaux.

Ann Boland of The Boland Group

Ann Boland

“There is a (very rational) trust that is built between people who have met in person—be it over breakfast, at the bar, or in the gym. This year’s agenda includes all the elements that make every conference so valuable. The focus is on learning from each other in small groups and showcases consistently successful TE members like Maria Hemminger, who is happy to share her team’s secrets for success. A rising tide does lift all boats. I’ve shared and learned best practices and ideas that have made/saved my year.

“Don’t hesitate to commit the time and cost to attend this conference. TE has kept costs low by foregoing an expensive industry trainer and will use AI to ensure that every time you switch tables, you’ll be with a completely different group of people. It’s better than speed dating because you never know when you’re going to need that recruiter outside your niche to ensure you can serve your most valued clients.

“I look forward to meeting you in person!

TE Connect Spring 2026 is scheduled for Thursday, April 23, in Ybor City near Tampa, Florida. The cost of Early Bird Registration is just $325 per person and that price is valid through Friday, April 3. After that date, Regular Registration will begin at the price of $375 per person.

Just like Ann, I strongly encourage you to attend this event. Countless members have told me during the past 20 years that they were hesitant to attend one of these events, but once they did, they were blown away by the value they received.

That value is waiting for you at TE Connect Spring 2026. Register now at the Early Bird price and get ready to network, learn from your peers, and make split placements and more money in 2026.

I’ll see you in Florida next month!

At Top Echelon, we’re ALL about best practices. That’s especially the case with our split fee recruiting network.

I recently presented some quick tips for more success in TE Network. And this week, I’m back with more!

Remember: success in the Network results from a combination of proficiency with both human interaction and technology, including Top Echelon’s recruiting database of candidates and job orders.

(For specific questions about Top Echelon software and/or technology, the Help Center is available 24/7 to answer your questions and provide assistance.)

Without further adieu, below are three more quick tips for experiencing success in Top Echelon’s recruiter network:

— — —

Tip #1: Always Return the Call

Always return a TE Network member’s phone call!

As a professional courtesy, you should return all phone calls from your trading partners, regardless of whether you think it will be a waste of time or not. Any members who are unwilling to do this probably are not TE Network material.

— — —

Tip #2: Don’t Share with Non-Network Recruiters

Never send any Network resumes or job orders to non-Network recruiters without prior approval from the submitting agency.

This is a very serious TE Network offense!

— — —

Tip #3: Share THESE Candidates and Job Orders

Only submit “PLACE-ABLE” candidates and “FILL-ABLE” job orders to the Network! Anything else is a waste of everybody’s time and money.

It’s also your job to close out any of your TE Network candidates or job orders that are no longer viable.

Top Echelon offers a free monthly webinar as part of its Expert Recruiter Coaching Series.

Top Echelon Content and Communications Manager Matthew Deutsch

These webinars touch upon a variety of recruiter-related topics. These topics deal with both job candidates and clients. As always, our goal with these webinars is to help agency recruiters and search consultants just like YOU make more placements.

We record these webinars for recruiters who can’t attend the live presentation, and we’re now pleased to offer the video from our most recent webinar by industry trainers Tricia Tamkin and Jason Thibeault of Moore eSSentials.

The title of that webinar (and corresponding training video) is “Eliminate Counteroffers: The Approach That Changes Everything.”

Below is the official description for this training video:

— — —

Counteroffers kill deals. You’ve done the work. Your candidate accepted. Then their boss swoops in with more money, a promotion, or promises of a better future, and suddenly your placement evaporates.

Moore eSSentials

Moore eSSentials

In the next webinar video in Top Echelon’s Expert Recruiter Coaching Series, Tricia Tamkin and Jason Thibeault of Moore eSSentials will share a method that they built for a recruiter who had lost $400K in post-acceptance falloffs to counteroffers. After implementing their approach, he only lost one more, and it resulted in hundreds of thousands in fees.

During this FREE webinar, Tricia and Jason will share their innovative, non-adversarial approach to neutralizing counteroffers before they ever become a problem. No scare tactics. No made-up numbers. Just a strategy that builds trust, strengthens candidate loyalty, and protects your placements. You’ll laugh, you’ll cringe at what you used to do, and you’ll leave with something you can use on your very next deal.

What you’ll learn during this webinar:

  • When to introduce the counteroffer conversation and when you’re already too late
  • Why the most commonly cited counteroffer statistics are fabricated and what to say instead
  • How to pressure-test a candidate’s commitment without sounding like a used car salesman
  • The counterintuitive technique that turns potential counteroffers into long-term client relationships

So don’t wait and don’t hesitate. Watch this FREE training video and “Eliminate Counteroffers”!
