At Top Echelon, we’re constantly upgrading both the Big Biller recruiting software and our split placement network software. So we’re pleased to announce the following updates:

1. New “See All Employees In Search” Action – You’ll find this new option available in the action menu of Company search results and Company Hotlists. This new action allows you to review all employees associated with a particular list of Company records, making it easier to manage and market to those corresponding People records.

2. Updates to Domain Verification – This update will allow you to verify multiple email domains and will prevent those who have already verified one domain from sending email from other unverified domains. It is for this reason that we recommend verifying any additional domains used through your Big Biller account (if applicable) if you wish to continue sending email through those associated addresses.

3. Changes to Employer Searching – A new toggle has been added to the Employer field in People Advanced Search that allows you to locate People who work or have worked for a particular Company (or Companies), even if it’s not linked to a record in your database. This new option allows for more flexible keyword searching, including a Boolean Builder for assistance with your search strings.

4. Boolean Builder Added to Activity Searching – The Boolean Builder is now available on Activity search fields within People, Company, and Job Advanced Searches to assist in the building of your search strings.

5. New Comments Card on Network Profiles – The new “My Agency Comments” card allows you to document your own internal comments and notes on Network Recruiter and Agency profiles. This can be used as a place to document additional information about how they work, typical client needs, screening preferences, etc. that are not already mentioned within their profile.

Remember, you can always stay informed by visiting the official Top Echelon Product Updates page. You can see current and past updates, as well as which updates and upgrades are next.

As you are all well aware, social media has taken over the world.

Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration. Then again, maybe it’s not.

Regardless, it’s become an integral part of daily life for many of us, and that includes recruiters.

After all, recruiters deal in information, and there is a tremendous amount of information on social media. Of course, not all of it is valuable information, and therein lies the problem: being able to find the valuable information and leave the rest behind.

At Top Echelon, we pride ourselves on providing valuable information to recruiters, and that includes through our social media accounts. In fact, we recently revamped (and added to) our accounts, taking steps to improve them so they provide the best experience possible for recruiters.

In short, we’ve molded the accounts so they’re more targeted, they provide better information, and they’re more valuable to those recruiters who connect with them.

Just recently, I invited you to follow Top Echelon Software on LinkedIn and also join our Recruiting Tips and Training Group on LinkedIn.

But believe it or not, social media is about more than just LinkedIn. (I know, heresy, right?)

With that in mind, I invite you to connect with Top Echelon on the social media platforms listed below by clicking on the appropriate links. (You might be pleased to know that we now have an Instagram account!)

We share ALL sorts of information through these social media accounts. Some of it is general in scope and will appeal to the entire recruiting and staffing industry. Other information might be for customers only.

We share blog posts, videos, and announcements regarding upcoming events such as free training webinars. Whatever it might be, we strive to share information that recruiters will consider to be of value.

Because no matter the extent to which social media takes over the world, it still won’t change the fact that the most important thing you can do is provide value . . . especially to those who have come to expect it from you.

At Top Echelon, we strive to provide as much value for recruiters as we possibly can, and one of the ways we do that is through our Recruiter Training Blog.

However, it’s come to my attention that there are some Network members who are not aware that this resource is available to them and also don’t know how to fully access it.

Well, I’m here to help! Specifically, I’m here to help with five reasons why you should subscribe to our Recruiter Training Blog:

#1—You’re NOT automatically subscribed.

What does it mean to be “subscribed”? It means that you’ll receive an email every two weeks or so with links to the blog posts you may have missed. Although you’re a member of the Network, we did not automatically opt you in to the mailing list. That means you’ll have to sign up yourself.

So . . . click here to sign up! (When you navigate to the page, scroll down in order to see the “Subscribe” button at the bottom. It will say “Get more Recruiting Articles from Top Echelon!”)

#2—Read content by leading industry trainers.

The Recruiter Training Blog is filled with articles by some of the leading trainers in the recruiting and staffing industry, including many who have served as keynote speakers at our recruiter networking events.

Some of these trainers include the following:

  • Barb Bruno, CPC/CTS of Good as Gold Training
  • Gary Stauble of The Recruiting Lab
  • Greg Doersching of Bullseye Recruiting
  • Bob Marshall of TBMG International
  • Scott Wintrip of the Wintrip Consulting Group
  • Scott Love of The Attorney Search Group

In addition, we also publish blog posts about current trends within the industry or the job market in general, including analysis and commentary.

#3—You won’t miss an article.

You’re busy. We get that. By subscribing and receiving email notifications, you can stay on top of all the articles and you won’t have to visit the blog every time you want to see what’s been posted recently.

#4—You can pick and choose.

If you subscribe, not only will you be notified via email, but you can also select which blog posts you want to read and which ones you don’t . . . all from the convenience of your email’s inbox.

#5—This is content separate from The Pinnacle.

The blog posts in the Recruiter Training Blog are different than the articles in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. They’re more about general recruiting topics, while The Pinnacle focuses more on Network issues and announcements, Network recruiters and accolades, and split placement trends and information.

So act now! Operators are standing by! (Not really. That’s just fun to say.)

We recently announced that it was time for Top Echelon’s Annual State of the Recruiting Industry Report Survey.

Well, in case you didn’t see that announcement, we’d like to remind you to NOT forget our survey!

Since you’re a member of Top Echelon’s recruiter network, we’d like to invite you to participate in this survey. Your responses will serve as the basis for Top Echelon’s 2020-21 State of the Recruiting Industry Report.

There are 22 questions in this year’s survey. We want your viewpoints, opinions, and perspectives on a wide range of topics. And as always, we encourage you to elaborate on any and all points that you see fit. Vent to us, if you must. We’re here to listen.

The questions in this year’s survey include the following topics (among others):

  • How the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the industry
  • The top complaints clients have about candidates
  • Where the best quality candidates come from
  • The most successful places to advertise job openings and reach candidates
  • Recruiters’ top challenges and concerns about the future—including and excluding COVID—and how to address them

Here’s the really good news: if you participate in our survey, then you’ll be among the first to receive the 2020-21 State of the Recruiting Industry Report. We estimate that the report will be completed and ready for distribution shortly after the first of the year. (Although of course, we reserve the right to publish it later . . . or sooner, maybe. We’ll see what kind of mood we’re in.)

Regardless, click the link below to get this show started:

Yes, I’d like to take the survey!

Thank you for your loyal and commitment as Top Echelon Network members (and also for completing our survey)!
