Top Echelon is thrilled to launch a special webinar series with Danny Cahill, a legend in the recruiting and staffing industry!

The first session of the “According to Danny” series is designed for owners and managers seeking smart, sustainable growth strategies for their search firms.

In contrast to our Expert Recruiter Coaching Series of webinars, which are free, there is a cost associated with attending this webinar. However, the price is nominal at $99 per seat.

Still not convinced? Well, here is the official description of the webinar to help push you over the “convincing edge” . . .

Top Echelon is pleased to present a special webinar series by recruiting and staffing industry legend Danny Cahill!

Danny Cahill

Danny Cahill

The first part of this “According to Danny” webinar series is especially for owners and managers and will address how to scale your search firm and stay sane at the same time. Well, relatively sane . . . you ARE a recruiter, after all.

But most recruiting agency owners “go with their gut” about when to hire in their quest to scale. (As in, “We had a good month, so let’s scale!”) However, there is far more to it than that, and Danny Cahill will share his wealth of wisdom with attendees.

Specifically, in this session, Danny will:

  • Provide a checklist of ways in which to assess both your opportunities and risks in regards to scaling your agency.
  • Point out the most common mistakes that owners and managers make during the scaling process.
  • Include contemporary compensation plans.
  • And much more!

This information has literally been GOLD for hundreds of recruiting firms. For the low price of just $99, you can tap into the experience and expertise of one of the most successful and respected recruiters, managers, and trainers in the recruiting and staffing industry.

So join Danny Cahill and Top Echelon on November 19 and find out “How to Scale your Search Firm and Stay Sane”!

Register for this special webinar!

We hope that you’ll join us for this webinar and for all of the upcoming webinars in the “According to Danny” series.

And yes, the Expert Recruiter Coaching Series of webinars still exists . . . and yes, they’re still free. Be on the lookout for more information about December’s webinar in the series.

And remember that recorded versions of our Expert Recruiter Coaching Series of webinars are posted on our website as free online recruitment training courses in the Top Echelon Recruiter Training Library.

We have more split placements in TE Network! And not only that, but we also have more newer members who have made their first split in TE Network!

That’s right, we have two members who finalized their first split placement recently. Those two are Amie Closson of Global Talent Resources Corp. and Walaa El Rasheedy of Knowhirematch, LLC.

However, congratulations are also in order for Teresa Pernini of Pernini Legal Search, LLC and Sara Alexandroff of Sterling St. James, Inc. That’s because both Teresa and Sara were part of two finalized split placements this past week in TE Network.

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE Network’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in TE Network for the period from November 4 through November 10, 2024.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your split placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in TE Network!

Top Echelon Customer Success Manager Todd Bossler recently conducted a special Training Tuesday webinar titled, “Back to the Future with TE Recruit!”

You may have attended this free webinar on Tuesday, December 3. On the other hand, you may not have been in attendance.

Regardless, we have the recorded version of the webinar, which I am presenting to you now. (The recording is also located in the Top Echelon Help Center.)

If you are not a user of our recruiting software, then check out the video, anyway, to see how the software could benefit your recruiting desk and agency.

We at Top Echelon are continually working to make the resources that we provide to our customers better, and this is yet more proof!

Below is the official description of this training video:

  • Automated text messaging
  • The Smart-TE AI Job Description Generator
  • The Smart-TE AI Search Generator
  • New integration partners
  • The all-new Themes feature
  • What’s on the horizon . . . including sequencing!

So watch this FREE video, and let’s put a tidy bow on the entire year and look ahead to 2025 by going “Back to the Future with TE Recruit!”

In my previous blog post in the “Planning Your Network Success” series, I addressed Active Participation, one of The Four Pillars of TE Network, in terms of the information that members submit.

Of course, I also discussed submissions within the framework of The 5 Stages of a Networker.

This week, I’m going to tackle another one of The Four PillarsQuality—and once again, it will be within the context of The 5 Stages of a Networker. That’s because we don’t just want recruiters to actively participate in the Network and submit their candidates and job orders. We also want them to submit high-quality candidates and job orders.

Why? Because that’s the quickest way to make more split placements!

We want everybody in this Network to make more split placements . . . and the road to more splits begins with Active Participation AND Quality in recruiting.

This week’s breakdown of Quality and The 5 Stages of a Networker is below:

Stage 1 Networker

They always hold back their excellent candidates and excellent job orders so they can earn a full fee, and they only share what they cannot use.

Stage 2 Networker

Although their intentions are good, they still hold back their excellent candidates and job orders. They’ll share their mediocre candidates and job orders, but they try to keep the best for themselves.

Stage 3 Networker

They take pride in the quality of the candidates and job orders they share. They’re not wasting time passing non-quality items. They’re sharing most of their relatively good candidates and job orders, but they’ll still hold back their exceptional items for themselves.

Stage 4 Networker

They deal in quality. Their “I’s” are dotted and “T’s” are crossed! They expect the same from their core group of trading partners, but they are somewhat forgiving of everybody else who isn’t in their core group.

Stage 5 Networker

Same as a Stage 4 Networker. They deal in quality!

In my next blog post in this series, I’ll examine trading partners in regards to The 5 Stages of a Networker.

If you have any questions in the meantime—about this blog post, about The 5 Stages of a Networker, or about your split recruiting membership in TE Network—please contact me.

Believe it or not, the Thanksgiving holiday is already here!

As always, it seems as though Thanksgiving kind of “snuck up” on us this year. (Wasn’t it just Labor Day? Wasn’t Halloween last week?)

And along with this holiday, of course, come our Top Echelon holiday hours.

The Top Echelon offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. These hours apply to:

The Top Echelon offices will re-open as usual at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 2.

I know I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: we at Top Echelon are thankful for ALL of you as customers.

We enjoy working and talking with you on a daily basis, and we’re glad that we can contribute to the health and well being of your recruiting agencies.

So please travel safely this week and make sure you eat too much turkey and stuffing . . . and of course, pumpkin pie.

Happy Thanksgiving!
