The prevailing trend continues this week in Top Echelon Network. That trend is more split placements and bigger fees associated with those splits.

The proof is listed below, as Network members racked up another 17 splits!

In addition, Kerry Boehner of KOB Solutions, Inc. and Steve Kohn of Affinity Executive Search, Inc. placed a Director of Oncology, splitting a $41K fee in the process.

With as tight as the market is for talent right now, it would appear as though this trend is going to continue well into the future. And we are a-okay with that . . .

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our weekly placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in Top Echelon Network for the week of Monday, October 11, through Sunday, October 17.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your Network placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the placements they made in Top Echelon Network!

If you’re a newer Network member and you want to enjoy more success in our recruiter network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

The past 18 months have been unprecedented, to say the least. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our personal and professional lives and continues to do so on a daily basis.

However, business for professional recruiters and search consultants in 2021 has been markedly different than 2020. All of you certainly remember once the virus first arrived on the scene, the entire economy was essentially locked down. Job orders dried up and nobody was hiring.

Since then, though, the introduction of vaccines has allowed the economy to stay open. And during the subsequent recovery, the market is extraordinarily tight for talent. Qualified job candidates, especially the top candidates, are in demand. As a result, companies and organizations are more than willing to engage the services of a professional recruiter to find the candidates they want.

This has been and is good news for recruiters in general and members of Top Echelon Network specifically. And I have some numbers to back this up:

  • There are currently close to 4,000 job orders in the Top Echelon Network system. This represents a 400% increase over the number of job orders that were in the system shortly after the pandemic started.
  • Top Echelon members have increased the numbers of Network placements they’ve made by 50% through the first nine months of year, as compared to the same timeframe a year ago.
  • Top Echelon members have billed 46% more through the Network through the first nine months of the year, as compared to the same timeframe a year ago.

Network membership has been steadily growing since the start of the pandemic, increasing by 12% since last year.

The Network is humming with activity these days, which is great to see. I’ve spoken with some members who have so many job orders that they literally can not take another one. They can barely keep up with the number they have already. This is good problem to have.

A problem that is not good to have is not having enough qualified candidates. This is another powerful way to leverage the resources of the Network, because other Top Echelon members have candidates in their database that you do not have. This is why you must make sure that you’re opted in to the Network Candidates sourcing tool and that you’re using it on a consistent basis.

I covered this (and more) in my blog post from last week, “5 Things You Should Do in TE During Q4.”

So be sure to do those five things and also be sure to contact me if you have any questions about your Top Echelon Network membership.

You can reach me by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

Top Echelon offers a free monthly webinar as part of its Expert Recruiter Coaching Series.

These webinars touch upon a variety of recruiter-related topics. These topics deal with both job candidates and clients. As always, our goal with these webinars is to help professional recruiters and executive search consultants just like YOU make more placements.

We record these webinars for those recruiters who can’t attend the live presentation, and we’re now pleased to offer the video from our most recent webinar by Bob Marshall of TBMG International.

The title of that webinar (and corresponding training video) is “The Post-Apocalyptic Recruiter”

Below is the official description for this training video:

— — —

One of the tightest markets for talent that we’ve ever witnessed . . . job candidates “ghosting” on employers at record rates . . . and more professionals seeking remote work and schedule flexibility than ever before.

These are all results of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. And they all present unique challenges and obstacles to recruiters and the clients they represent in this “post-apocalyptic” employment world.

Join Bob Marshall of TBMG International for this special webinar video in the Top Echelon Expert Recruiter Coaching Series, as he explains how recruiters can meet the challenges and overcome the obstacles prevalent in today’s recruiting environment.

During this information-packed video, Bob addresses:

  • Whether or not the traditional office is actually dead
  • How to truly differentiate yourself from other recruiters in the marketplace
  • How to communicate the new realities of the job market to employers
  • Strategies and tips for eliminating “ghosting” with the candidates you present
  • How to qualify job orders and candidates more effectively in this environment
  • How to position yourself as a trusted advisor with both candidates and clients
  • And much more!

Although it’s not quite the end of the world and despite the fact we can’t yet see it from here, we invite you to prep yourself with “The Post-Apocalyptic Recruiter”!

Watch this FREE training video!

Recorded versions of our Expert Recruiter Coaching Series webinars are posted on our website as free online recruitment training courses in the Top Echelon Recruiter Training Library.
