PRESENTER: Top Echelon IT Project Manager Todd Bossler

WHEN: 1 p.m, Eastern Time on Tuesday, October 21

COST: Free to Top Echelon Network Preferred Member recruiters!

DESCRIPTION: Todd Bossler unveiled the all-new MEGA Database at the recent Fall Conference, and now he’s doing the same for the rest of the Network membership!  During this special “Training Tuesday” webinar, Todd will provide a comprehensive overview of the new MEGA Database, showing attendees the basics of this powerful new candidate sharing and networking tool.  Below are just some of the things that the new MEGA offers to recruiters and that Todd will address during this session:

  • Access to millions of candidates
  • Leveraging the power of the Network
  • A NEW powerful search engine
  • More targeted search results
  • Instant notification of matches
  • Instant sharing of resumes
  • A quicker response to clients
  • Bottom line: more placements!

Remember, you can still search the MEGA Database if you don’t use the Big Biller software.  However, if you’re not a Big Biller customer, then your resumes will not be indexed and will not be searchable by other recruiters using the MEGA.

Regional Core Groups are one of the BEST ways that Top Echelon Network recruiters can meet new Trading Partners, share hot job orders and candidates, network, and make more split placements.

And I’m pleased to announce that another Regional Core Group meeting is approaching!

The Core Group involved is the Central Ohio Regional Core Group. This group has been in operation for the last several years and is one of the most popular and most productive Core Groups that we’ve had in the 26-year existence of the Network.

The group’s upcoming meeting is next month—Wednesday, November 12, specifically. What’s unique about this meeting is that we have an online registration process for it, similar to what we offer with the Fall Conference and National Convention. (The link for registering is at the bottom of this blog post.)

We’re expecting between 40 and 50 Network recruiters at this event, and if you can make it, I strongly encourage you to attend. You won’t be disappointed.

The details regarding the next meeting of the Central Ohio Regional Core Group are as follows:

Date: Wednesday, November 12, 2014

Our latest statistics in Top Echelon Network show split placements surging recently, specifically since the first of September.

Since the start of the year, Network placements have been slightly above 2013’s pace.  However, that pace has quickened considerably.  In fact, between September 1 and today, there have been 95 split placements made in Top Echelon Network.

That’s roughly twice as many Network placements than during any other 45-day period so far in 2014.

Can that pace continue?  There’s a chance it could, at least through November.  Activity usually dips a little in the Network toward the end of each calendar year.

However, many recruiters are as busy as they’ve ever been.  Who knows?  The activity level might remain constant all the way through December.

All of this bodes well for 2015, both in terms of Network placements and recruiter revenue.  Here’s to a great rest of the year and a great 2015!

Below are the split jobs that were filled recently:

  • Rotating Machinery Protection Engineer
  • HAAS Mill Set-up Operator
  • Jr. Robotics Technician/Engineer
  • Regional Sales Manager
  • Progress Software Engineer
  • Reliability Engineer
  • Assistant Corporate Controller
  • Network Administrator
  • Sales Specialist

THE RECRUITING AWARDS:

At Top Echelon Network, we recognize recruiters for both monthly and quarterly performance in four categories—Recruiter of the Month, Recruiter of the Quarter, Largest Split Fee of the Month, and Largest Split Fee of the Quarter.

However, it should be noted that Trey Cameron has won the Recruiter of the Month award SO often during the past few years that we chose to highlight the winners of the Largest Split Fee of the Month award for the month of September.  After all, Network recruiters probably don’t want to see Trey’s name in a headline ALL of the time.

Not only that, but everybody likes a big, fat placement fee . . . even one that you have to split.

For more information about the recruiter awards listed below, login to the Members’ Area and view the profiles and placement details of the winning Network recruiters.

RECRUITER OF THE MONTH:

Trey Cameron

Trey Cameron

Trey Cameron of the Cameron Craig Group

Trey Cameron is back where he’s been for the past three years . . . the top-producing recruiter just about every month in the Network.  After missing out on this award in August, he’s back to claim it for September with seven split placements.

In second place was Sean Napoles, CPC of Career Brokers, Inc. with five split placements.  Among the Network recruiters tied with two placements each were Pat McCombs, CPC of KB Search Team, LLC; John Zurek of Zurek Professional Resources, LLC; and Brian Haugh of Chicago Search Group, Inc.

— — —

LARGEST SPLIT FEE OF THE MONTH:

David Wood, CPC of The David Wood Company

David Wood, CPC

David Wood, CPC of The David Wood Company and James Compton of Compton & Associates

The position for this split placement was a Chief Engineer.  Wood was the job order recruiter, and Compton was the candidate recruiter.  The action that stimulated this split placement was listed as, “Regular communication with another Top Echelon Network recruiter.”

OUR CRITERIA FOR THESE RECRUITING AWARDS:

Top Echelon Network determines the monthly and quarterly award winners based upon two criteria, which are listed below in order of importance:

1.) The number of split placements made
2.) The amount of “cash-in” dollars earned as a result of those split placements

This explains why, when multiple recruiters are tied with the same number of split placements during a given month or quarter, the recruiter with the largest “cash-in” total for their placements is deemed the winner.

There’s a reason that they’re called split placements.

That’s because when they work the way they’re supposed to work, both recruiters split the duties and the responsibilities.  Sure, that’s not always the case, but that’s the case with the three split placements listed below!

Teamwork is the cornerstone of any great Trading Partner relationship, and the good news is that in two of the three placements below, the recruiters involved made their first split with one another.  The other placement was the second between the recruiters involved.

The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network are Quality, Communication, Trust, and Active Participation.  However, if a fifth one is ever added, it just might be Teamwork.

Recruiters who work well together and who enjoy working together are more likely to work together again in the future.  That means they’ll keep sharing job orders and candidates, they’ll keep splitting the workload, and they’ll keep making split placements.

Just like these recruiters will . . .

Congratulations to everybody who made split placements this week!
