Top Echelon Network recruiters reached double digits once again this past week, producing a total of 15 split placements.

Reigning Recruiter of the Year Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group led the way by being part of five splits. Also leading the way were Abby Kohut of Staffing Symphony, LLC and Larry Gallin of Gallin Associates.

That’s because Abby and Larry placed a Vice President of HR to earn a recruiting fee of $55K at 20%. Congratulations to Abby and Larry for making such a big split within the Network!

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our weekly placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in Top Echelon Network for the week of August 22 through August 28, 2022.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your Network placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in Top Echelon Network!

If you’re a newer Network member and you’d like to enjoy more success in our recruiter network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

We’re continuously updating both the Top Echelon recruiting software and our split placement network software. So we’re pleased to announce the following software updates!

1. Weekday Recurring Activity Option

A new Weekday options has been added to the Repeat field in Scheduled Activities, allowing you to quickly schedule a recurring activity to occur Monday Through Friday.

2. Export Enhancements

Our spreadsheet export functionality in People, Company, and Job lists received several updates, including:

  • New column additions, including (but not limited to) next and last Activity dates and details, custom fields, created and modified dates, and social media URLs
  • The ability to choose which columns are included in your export and which are not
  • Selection preferences will be remembered from list to list, per record type
  • The ability to reorder the columns that are included in your export

3. Ability to Export Report Table Views

You now have the option to export the Table view on Activity, Pipeline, and Placement Reports. This new option provides increased flexibility, as previously only the Table Details view was available for export.

4. Billing Overview Revamp

An overhaul to the Billing Overview page includes an updated and improved interface, along with:

  • The centralization of all billing and subscription management
  • The ability to view billing history and invoices
  • The ability to view and manage current services and add-ons
  • Viewing your active user count and details
  • Managing payment methods, including the ability to add backup cards

5. [BETA TESTING] Checkr

Our integration with Checkr will help you fill roles more quickly and can drive additional revenue. Their quick and thorough background checks make the hiring and screening process more efficient.

(In the coming weeks, we will be looking for beta testing participants, who may receive free background checks during the beta period. If you are interested in beta testing our Checkr integration, please email us at beta@topechelon.com.)

Remember, you can always stay informed by visiting the official Top Echelon Product Updates page. You can see current and past updates, as well as which updates and upgrades are next.

With the market for hiring still going strong, you might be wondering how you’re going to fill all of those open job orders on your desk.

It’s a common problem these days, since candidates typically drive the market. Talent—top talent—is still difficult to find and difficult to recruit.

That’s why THIS is how TE recruiters fill their open job orders:

By participating in a Virtual Core Group (VCG)!

During Virtual Core Group (VCG) teleconference calls, Network recruiters share the following:

  • Hot job orders and candidates
  • Information about the activity they’re seeing in the job market
  • Ideas for increased production on their desk and within their agencies

Sharing open job orders = making placements

There are recruiters on these calls who have candidates. They have quality candidates who they’re looking to place in your quality job orders. They just need to know about them. That means YOU must share what you have to offer.

I conduct Virtual Core Group calls within specific industries during the second week of each month. Near the end of every month, you should receive an email detailing the next month’s VCG schedule. The schedule is also available on the Main Dashboard calendar within the Network software.

If you’re a newer member of Top Echelon’s recruiter network, then I especially encourage you to join an existing Virtual Core Group. You can even start a new one!

I have been holding VCG conference calls for well over a decade now. I can say without a doubt that the recruiters who participate in these calls make split placements because of these calls. It happens all the time.

These groups work, they’ve always worked, and they’re working right now. The only thing missing is YOU.

THIS is how you fill open job orders in Top Echelon Network. Virtual Core Groups, along with other recruiter networking events, is how you make placements.

To join an existing Virtual Core Group or to start a new one, contact me at 330.595.1742 or via email at drea@topechelon.com.

In my previous blog post in the “Planning Your Network Success” series, I identified the five stages of a networker. I described each stage and then assessed their probable level of “Top Echelon Network satisfaction.”

One of the reasons these stages are important is that we’re going to use them to look at various elements of the Network. Specifically, we’re going to examine the attitude that recruiters in each of the five stages have about these elements.

This is crucial because it will illustrate the evolution of a networker from a number of different perspectives. How a recruiter views their membership and the different elements it includes has a tremendous impact on how much success they’ll enjoy.

Obviously, we want every recruiter in this Network to enjoy as much success as they can.

The elements are elementary

We want everybody to make 10 split placements a year, and we’re not going to stop until we do that. (Can it be done? It doesn’t matter. We’re still going to try.) Okay, back to the essential elements for success in Top Echelon Network and how the five stages of a networker fit into them.

The elements that I’ll be addressing during the next several weeks include the following nine:

  1. Mindset
  2. Trust
  3. Effort
  4. Maneuverability
  5. Expectations
  6. Submissions
  7. Quality
  8. Trading partners
  9. Network billings and the economy

Our analysis of these elements is all geared toward one goal—helping you to become a networker in the fifth stage of development. Why? Because that’s how you’ll reach your full potential as a member of our recruiting network.

So in the near future, we’ll tackle the topic of mindset. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact me by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

We don’t make money unless YOU make money. So let us help you make more money!
