There are a lot of congratulations in order when it comes to recent split placements in Top Echelon Network!

First, congratulations are in order for Sara Alexandroff of Sterling St. James, LLC. As you can see below, Sara was part of four Network splits.

Second, Maria Hemminger of MJ Recruiters, LLC and Jim Strickland of BioSource Recruiters made three split placements with each other. This is the second time this year that Maria and Jim have accomplished this feat in a short period of time.

Third, Keith Cornelison of Personnel Resources accounted for three splits. In fact, he was the trading partner involved in three of Sara’s four placements.

Fourth, Marshand Noriega of WinSource Group and Sara Katz of First Search made two splits with one another. So far, Marshand has made all four of her Network splits with Sara.

And finally, Doug Boyce of Priority One Search and Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group placed a Plant Manager to earn a recruiting fee of $42,500 at 25%. That’s the largest split placement fee in Top Echelon Network for this week!

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our weekly placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in Top Echelon Network for the period from August 7 through August 20, 2023.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your Network placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in Top Echelon Network!

If you’re a newer Network member and you’d like to enjoy more success in our recruiter network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

At Top Echelon, we like to celebrate the successes of our Network recruiters! This is especially the case when they reach certain milestones. Like, say, making their 100th Network placement.

The good news is that we recently had a bevy of recruiters reach that mark. (Do recruiters move in a bevy or a flock? Or is it a school? A herd?)

The bad news is that we can’t fit them all into this article in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. Since that’s the case, I’ll simply write another article and publish it in a future issue. Modern problems call for modern solutions.

In the meantime, the first three Network members that we’d like to highlight for reaching this milestone are Al Daum of Alan N. Daum & Associates, Inc.; Larry Ploscowe of EXEK Recruiters, Ltd.; and Larry Radzely of Adel-Lawrence Associates, Inc.

Below are their comments regarding reaching this milestone and the impact that Top Echelon Network membership has had on their business.

Al Daum

In addition to reaching the 100-placement plateau, Al has also reached the $1 million mark in Top Echelon in terms of cash-in. Al, who started recruiting in 1976, specializes in placing process control engineers.

Al Daum of Alan N. Daum and Associates, Inc.

Al Daum

He’s also a big fan of attending Top Echelon’s recruiter networking events and an even bigger fan of the Ohio State University football team.

“Can’t say enough about longevity! I have split with close to 40 current and ex-TEers,” said Al. “Being a one-person office all these years, TE has been an integral part of my business plan. I have always been impressed about the high level of professionalism that exists in the Top Echelon Network.

“I feel very fortunate for having been associated with everyone I have met through TE. I have made splits in all sorts of ways—calling or being called by another recruiter for help, receiving daily notifications, advertising my jobs on TE, other recruiters posting my jobs, etc.”

Larry Ploscowe

Like Al, Larry Ploscowe has been in both the profession and Top Echelon Network for quite a while. He started recruiting in 1991.

Lawrence T. Ploscowe of EXEK Recruiters, Ltd.

Larry has also rocketed past the $1 million mark in Top Echelon. For his career, his Network cash-in total stands at more than $1.1 million.

“Earning my 100th placement on TE means a great deal to me,” said Larry. “Top Echelon has been a key part of EXEK’s success and my success as a recruiter. The Network makes me a more powerful resource for my client companies and active applicants. TE expands my reach across the country, across industries, and professions.

“I don’t think EXEK would have been able to exist without TE. I’m hoping I’ll earn a hundred more placements before I’m done. Thank you for the opportunity to work with such a great company and business partner.”

Larry Radzely

When it comes to tenure within Top Echelon Network, almost nobody can beat Larry Radzley. (Outside of Charter Member Steve Brody, that is.)

Larry Radzely of Adel-Lawrence Associates, Inc.

Larry Radzely

Larry and his agency, Adel-Lawrence Associates, joined the Network in 1991. Since that time, the agency has billed close to $700K.

“We have been a member of TE since 1991, so 100 placements over 32 years is just over three placements per year,” said Larry. “We value our relationship with TE, and we’ve established long-lasting relationships with many TE recruiters over the years.

“We could not have established these relationships without becoming a member of the TE family. Looking back, we consider the decision to join Top Echelon to be one of the best business decisions we have ever made!”

Be sure to check out future issues of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog for more information regarding the milestones and achievements of Top Echelon Network recruiters!

Last week, we announced that there will soon be a Professional Tier associated with Top Echelon’s ATS and recruiting software.

However, we know that you have questions. The good news, of course, is that we have answers!

Specially, we have answers in the form of the following FAQs:

Pricing:

  • All Legacy users will retain their current pricing of $89 per month for the monthly plan and $70 per
month for the annual plan unless they choose to upgrade to Professional.
  • The price of the Professional Tier will be $110 per month for the monthly plan and $89 per month for the annual (yearly) plan.
  • The price of the Standard Tier will be $89 per month for the monthly plan and $70 per month for the annual plan.

Legacy Subscribers:

What will happen with my existing subscription and features?
Current subscribers will remain in a “Legacy” billing plan unless they choose to upgrade to Professional Tier. Your current billing plan will still apply and you will keep the same features and allowances for things like file storage and outgoing emails that you have today.

Can I try the Professional Tier without losing my Legacy plan?
Yes, we are planning on starting a 90-day free trial for current subscribers on September 1. You will have access to all of the Professional tier features and allowances at no cost for the duration of the trial and you will keep access to your Legacy plan if you do not choose to upgrade at the end of your trial.

My credit card expired, will I lose access to my Legacy plan?
No, as long as your card is updated before the end of the billing period, you will be able to keep your Legacy plan.

My account was shut down due to non-payment, will I lose access to my Legacy plan?
Yes, accounts that are closed due to non-payment will lose access to their Legacy plan. If those subscribers return, they will have the choice between Standard and Professional tiers.

What is the difference between my Legacy plan and the new Professional tier?
Professional tier subscribers will have access to the latest and greatest Top Echelon features. Today those features include Automations, Forms/Questionnaires, and Organizational Chart, and many forthcoming features will be available exclusively to Professional subscribers.

Further, Professional subscribers may send 10,000 emails per Agency per month instead of the Legacy plan’s 5000 emails. Professional and Legacy plans both have 100GB file storage.

What is the difference between my Legacy plan and the new Standard tier?
Standard tier subscribers will receive all of the core ATS and CRM features, and smaller allowances for things like data storage and emails sent.

Standard tier subscribers receive 10GB of file storage compared to the Legacy plan’s 100GB, and 5000 emails sent per Agency per month.

Please keep an eye out next week for more emails telling you more about the exciting features that you’ll be sampling starting on September 1!

Recruiting is not an easy profession. If it was, then everybody would be doing it.

However, it can even be difficult for those people who are good at it! That’s proven on an almost daily basis within the profession.

That’s because there are so many factors involved, including the fact that there are people at all ends of the sale—people who can “put the kibosh” on the deal at any point and for just about any reason. That makes it all the more difficult if there’s just one recruiter trying to make the placement happen.

But what about . . . two recruiters?

That’s the beauty of making split placements. You can rely upon teamwork—the combined efforts of TWO experienced recruiters—to get the job done and close the deal.

There are placements that happen all the time in Top Echelon that illustrate the teamwork that exists in the Network. Furthermore, these placements illustrate the hidden value (and not-so-hidden value) of working with another recruiter in Top Echelon. This value includes the following components:

#1—More placements

This one is the most obvious. When you work with other recruiters in the Network to share job orders and candidates, you increase the chances you will make placements that you would not have made otherwise.

#2—More placements more often

This is the next step in the evolution of your Network membership. Once you start making placements with your split recruiting partners, you’ll learn the different ways that each one of you works. As a result, not only can you make more splits, but this familiarity will help you make them more quickly.

#3—More placements with less effort

This is another byproduct of familiarity. In addition, let’s not forget that there are two recruiters working on the placement and not just one. That means it’s not up to just one recruiter to do 100% of the work involved. (At least, that’s the way we’ve designed the TE system to work.)

#4—Less stress

As you well know, recruiting is a stressful profession. Once again, when two recruiters are working on the same placement together, not only is there less work involved, but there is also theoretically less stress involved. (And if the placement is a stressful one, then the recruiters can vent to one another and brainstorm solutions.)

Who doesn’t love more placements AND less stress? This is the value of teamwork in Top Echelon Network!

If you have questions about how to maximize your Top Echelon Network membership and make more splits, I urge you to contact Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

It’s no secret that most, if not ALL, third-party recruiting agencies use the LinkedIn social media platform.

It’s also no secret that it’s our goal at Top Echelon to communicate with our Network Members as much as we possibly can.

While we strive to do that with The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog and other tools, chances are good that you spend at least part of your day in LinkedIn.

As a result, we view LinkedIn as yet another way to share important news and information with Top Echelon Network member agencies.

That’s why, with a fresh New Year right around the corner, I’m encouraging you to follow Top Echelon Software on LinkedIn!

Not all Network recruiters use Twitter. Not all Network recruiters use Facebook (and if they do, it might be for personal reasons and not professional ones). However, as I stated above, most Network recruiters use LinkedIn.

Not only do we share general news, articles, and trends about the recruiting industry, but we also release Network-specific information and announcements.

That way, if you don’t see certain information displayed in the Network Dashboard, then you might see it in your LinkedIn feed. We like to cover ALL the bases. So once again, click the link below to follow us.

Follow Top Echelon on LinkedIn!

Keep in mind that we don’t share sensitive information via LinkedIn, only general news and announcements. (In addition to recruiting-specific articles and blog posts.)

Communication is one of The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network, so it’s something that we take seriously. We believe proper communication is integral to Network success, both for Top Echelon recruiters and for ourselves.

So follow us on LinkedIn—and quite possibly the other social media platforms—and allow us to communicate with you!
