There’s only one thing that recruiters like more than making placements.

Making placements that command BIG recruiting fees!

And we have some of those in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. In fact, we have the Largest Split Fees of the Quarter for the second quarter of the year.

And congratulations are in order for Nick Stoia of ASAP Search and Steve Schanz of CPS Recruitment. That’s because Nick and Steve won the Largest Split Fee of the Quarter Award for placing a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to generate a $54K fee at 30%.

However, as you can see below, their split placement was not the only one that earned a large fee. Before we go, we’d also like to give a shout-out to Steve Kohn of Affinity Executive Search, Inc. Steve was part of not one, but two of the largest fees in Top Echelon Network during the second quarter.

As a reminder, Top Echelon determines the monthly and quarterly winners of its Network split fee recruiting awards in four distinct categories:

1.) Recruiter of the Month
2.) Largest Split Fee of the Month
3.) Recruiter of the Quarter
4.) Largest Split Fee of the Quarter

We only announce the winners of these awards in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. We do so usually (but not always) in the issue following the conclusion of each month and/or quarter.

Congratulations to everybody who made the largest split fees in Top Echelon Network during the quarter!

Believe it or not, we’re more than halfway through 2023! (For the record, we do NOT believe it.)

That means many things, one of which is the Recruiters of the Quarter in Top Echelon Network. And as you can see below, Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group and Trey Cameron of Cameron Craig Group are once again at the top of the list.

Speaking of which, we’d like to congratulate Trey on making his 1,300th split placement in the Network. Trey continues to break his own TE records every year. He’s also the first member to hit the $10 million mark in Top Echelon history. Congratulations, Trey!

Below is the information that we include with the Recruiter of the Quarter feature in Top Echelon Network:

  1. The top 10 recruiters for the quarter
  2. The “cash-in” total for each recruiter during the quarter. (We base the order of the recruiters on their amount of “cash-in” dollars, as opposed to the number of split placements they made during the quarter.)
  3. The number of splits that the recruiters made during the quarter
  4. The number of splits each recruiter has made during their Network career
  5. Each recruiter’s cash-in total for their Network career

Congratulations to the recruiters listed below . . . and congratulations to every Network member who made a split placement (or multiple splits) during the quarter!

How big of a week is it for split placements in Top Echelon Network?

First of all, four Network members made their very first TE split placement. Not only that, but this foursome also made their splits with each other. Allow me to explain . . .

Pete Mitchell of Human Capital Solutions made his first Network split and Jacqueline Randall of Anomalous Intelligence made her first Network split. And they made that split with each other, placing a Senior Full-Stack Java React Developer to generate a $15K fee!

Then, Ron Thomason of Source Financial Staffing made his first Network split and Gary Singh of Engineering Search Partners made his first Network split. And they made that split with each other, placing a Business Analyst to generate a $14K fee!

But wait, there’s more!

Specifically, there’s more in the form of the six (count them, six) split placements that Phil Hurd of Oculus Search Partners, LLC produced. And five of those splits were made with one trading partner—Herman Bruno of Corps Partners.

And last, but certainly not least, Keith Cornelison of Personnel Resources made two splits with Gary Thompson of Gary Thompson. The duo placed two Medical Technologists to generate fees of $14,560 and $12,480.

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our weekly placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in Top Echelon Network for the period from July 10 through July 16, 2023.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your Network placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in Top Echelon Network!

There’s a reason, of course, that Quality is one of The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network. Actually, there is more than just one reason.

However, the reason that I’m addressing it in this particular blog post revolves around the fact that quality recruiters make quality split placements.

Over the years, we’ve published numerous case studies in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. These case studies have involved quality recruiters making splits in the Network.

In addition, they’ve illustrated that there are many advantages to making splits besides just making a placement that you normally would not have made. (Although that IS a great place to start, is it not?)

These advantages are rooted in certain characteristics. Which characteristics? I’m so glad you asked!

Below are five characteristics of quality split placements in Top Echelon’s recruiter network:

1. They happen more quickly.

2. There’s less stress involved.

3. There is less likelihood of a fall-off. (That risk still exists, though, because you can never completely eliminate it.)

4. Trading partners build camaraderie during the recruitment process.

5. They also pave the way for additional placements in the future.

This final point highlights one of the best things about quality recruiters who make quality split placements with each other, especially when they make their first split. They are now more likely to make more quality split placements with one another in the future.

Making that first split is like “breaking the ice,” so to speak. But in all honesty, it’s more than just that.

When recruiters collaborate to bring a deal together and they split a placement fee, they know they can trust each other. Once they know that, they’re less hesitant to work together again in the future.

And just like Quality, Trust is one of The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network. In fact, it might be the most important Pillar.

If you have questions about how to maximize your Network membership and make more placements, I urge you to contact Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.
