Here at Top Echelon, we love it when new members make split placements quickly. In fact, we’ve highlighted such members in the recent past.

And we’re going to highlight another such member in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. That’s because Hety Skyler of Sky Search is Recruiter of the Week in Top Echelon Network!

Hety Skyler: doubling down

Hety Skyler and Sky Search joined Top Echelon’s recruiting network on March 15 of this year. There was no reason to “beware the ides of March,” though, because she quickly made two placements.

One of those placements was with Jarad Swint of Acloche Direct Hire. Incidentally, that was also Jarad’s first split in the Network. (Congratulations, Jarad!)

Hety then made a split with Michael Agen of New Solutions Group, LLC. That deal is still in the verbal stage and has yet to become an official completed placement.

When new members “dig in” to the Network like Hety has, they almost always enjoy long-term success in TE. Hety is the latest recruiter who provides proof that you can enjoy quick success in Top Echelon’s split network.

So congratulations to Hety and everybody else who made placements this week in TE!

If you’d like to know how YOU can enjoy more Network success, please contact Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS. You can do so by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

Welcome back to our regular feature in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog highlighting new recruiting firms in Top Echelon Network!

But first, a quick announcement. We’ll be publishing new recruiting firms in TE once a month. In that single blog post, we’ll highlight new members from the previous month. (We already do this for our anniversary feature, so this makes sense, does it not?)

Our list of new recruiting firms

As you can see, our new Network firms are listed below. They work in a variety of industries and niches. Specifically, they specialize in the following areas, among others:

  • Healthcare
  • Information Technology
  • Manufacturing
  • Engineering
  • Architecture
  • Construction

Let’s give the recruiters affiliated with these firms a warm and hearty Top Echelon Network welcome. What does that mean? Give them a phone call. Send them an email. If you dare, do both.

The point is that these recruiters want to make split placements. That’s why they joined our split fee recruiting network. And hey—YOU want to make splits, too. So maybe, just maybe, you could make splits together! Crazier things have happened, friends and neighbors.

And there’s a chance that these recruiters will reach out to you. This is especially the case if they work in the same industries and niches that you do. If that’s the case, respond accordingly. That means returning their email and/or their telephone call. It does not mean putting them off. And it certainly does not mean ignoring them.

If you have any questions about reaching out to new members or about your Network membership in general, please contact me. My contact information is at the end of this blog post.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a newer Network recruiter or an established member. If you want help making split placements with other Top Echelon members, then I encourage you to contact me.

What’s scarier than releasing the 2018 Fall Conference registration on Friday the 13th? Not making placements, that’s what!

Well, we at Top Echelon want YOU to make more placements. That does include, ahem, split placements. That’s why we also want you to attend the upcoming Fall Conference in Chicago.

Early Bird Conference Registration

As I just mentioned, Early Bird Registration for the Fall Conference will be available this Friday . . . the 13th! The good news is that you’ll be able to register for the low price of just $249 per person.

This year’s Fall Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, October 16, and Wednesday, October 17. The site of the conference is the Sheraton O’Hare Suites (formerly the Sheraton Gateway Suites).

Our room rate with the Sheraton O’Hare Suites is $189 per night. That rate is good for Top Echelon Network members attending the conference for the dates of Monday, October 15, through Wednesday, October 17.

To make hotel reservations at the Sheraton O’Hare Suites, call 1.847.699.6300. Be sure to reference the “Top Echelon conference” and its dates when you make the reservation. Please note there are a limited number of rooms available at that rate for our group. The hotel will give them out on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Sheraton O’Hare Suites is located near the Chicago O’Hare Airport. A courtesy shuttle will be available for your transportation. Also keep in mind that you do not have to stay at the Sheraton O’Hare Suites. You also have the option of staying at any hotel of your choice and traveling to the Sheraton.

It’s a proven fact that attending our recruiter networking events helps recruiters enjoy more success as members of Top Echelon Network. This event will be no different. I can promise you that there will be sessions and activities specifically designed to help increase your billings. And I don’t mean just your TE billings. I mean your overall billings, as well.

So sign up on Friday, save some money, and make some placements!

How much contract cash do TE members earn? (I know: why did we just repeat ourselves? We asked that question in the title of the blog post, for crying out loud.)

Regardless of that fact, perhaps a more accurate question is this one: how much contract cash CAN TE members earn? After all, not every member of Top Echelon Network offers contract staffing to their clients.

Contract cash = recurring revenue

Well, we have the answer in the form of our monthly blog post recognizing the top contract earners in our recruiter network.

Some of the Network members on our list literally earned thousands of dollars during the past month because of the contract placements they made. This is recurring revenue that they can enjoy while they continue to pursue direct hire placements.

Below are the top contract recruiters in Top Echelon Network through the month of June. Which is, of course, another way of saying through the first half of 2018.

This report lists the Top 20 Top Echelon Network members by contract placement earnings through Top Echelon Contracting. The report is provided to Network members for informational purposes. Top Echelon Network and Top Echelon Contracting utilize two different reward programs. Top Echelon Contracting recognizes and awards recruiters through its Frequent Contract Placement (FCP) Program. This program gives recruiters the opportunity to earn “cash back” points on recruiter commissions. Once a recruiter has $20,000 in earnings, he or she will begin earning cash back. Click here to learn more about the FCP program.

Top 20 Contract Placement Recruiters: June 30, 2018

Recruiter and Agency2018 Earnings
Keith Adams of PediaStaff$570,876
Jim Brown of Galileo Search, LLC$428,039
Cindy Stephens, CPC/CTS of Stephens International Recruiting, Inc.$48,515
Cindy Ridley of HRtechies, Inc.$36,360
Donna Carroll, CPC of$19,022
Maria Hemminger of MJ Recruiters, LLC$18,955
Philip Bartfield of Analytic Search$18,871
John F. Hope, CPC of Tri-Force$13,257
Pat McCombs, CPC of KB Search Team, LLC$10,980
Bill Young of EPC Recruiters, Inc.$9,121

All of the recruiters on this list are direct hire recruiters. They run a direct hire desk, in addition to making contract placements.

You do NOT have to stop making direct hire placements to offer contract staffing services to your existing base of clients. All you have to do is two things:

  1. Ask your clients if they have contract job orders. (If they do, then there’s a good chance they’ll give them to you.)
  2. Use Top Echelon’s recruitment back office solutions. We’ll take care of all the financial, legal, and administrative details associated with employing the contractors.

Once the candidate is placed, you kick back and collect contract placement checks AND you also continue making direct hire placements.

And if you have any questions about this whole process, we have answers.

There are many different ways to make placements in Top Echelon’s recruiting network. But did you know that the TE Discussion Forum is one of those ways?

If you didn’t, then this is your lucky day!

Discussion Forum in two parts

Actually, we have no idea if this is your lucky day. So don’t run out and buy a lottery ticket or anything. Instead, look at the two split placements highlighted below.

The TE Discussion Forum was the cause of both of these placements. The Forum is located in the Members’ Area. There are two parts to the Forum. On the left is the side reserved exclusively for “Hot Job/Candidate Discussions.” This is where you want to post about, well . . . your hot jobs and candidates.

We have reserved the right side of the Forum for “Other Discussions.” This includes everything other than hot jobs and hot candidates. (Yes, this includes the infamous “Friday Funnies,” as well.)

Seems rather simple, doesn’t it? So start using the Top Echelon Network Discussion Forum to make more placements!
