Top Echelon Network recruiters have been racking up split placements at a rampant rate for months now, but they reached the next level last week. That’s because Network members accounted for 27 splits!

To add some perspective, if Top Echelon members made an average of 27 splits per week for an entire year, that would equate to 1,404 placements.

Not only did Top Producer Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group make five splits during this one-week period, but one of the fees associated with last week’s TE splits totaled $40,500. Lisa Rokusek of Rokusek Recruits and Ebony Black of Connect Staffing Professional, LLC placed a Senior Fullstack Engineer to earn that fee.

Earlier this year, we held the Top Echelon National Convention for the first time in three years. And since it was such a successful event and we received such tremendous feedback, we decided to hold the Fall Conference in 2022, as well!

That’s the good news. The better news? Early Bird Registration for the Fall Conference begins this Friday, June 3!

This year’s Fall Conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 6, and Friday, October 7. The site of the conference is the Sheraton O’Hare Suites (formerly the Sheraton Gateway Suites).

Our room rate with the Sheraton O’Hare Suites is $144 per night. That rate is good for Top Echelon Network members attending the conference for the dates of Wednesday, October 5, through Friday, October 7.

To make hotel reservations at the Sheraton O’Hare Suites, call 1.847.699.6300. Be sure to reference the “Top Echelon conference” and its dates when you make the reservation. Please note there are a limited number of rooms available at that rate for our group. The hotel will give them out on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Sheraton O’Hare Suites is located near the Chicago O’Hare Airport. A courtesy shuttle will be available for your transportation. Also keep in mind that you do not have to stay at the Sheraton O’Hare Suites. You also have the option of staying at any hotel of your choice and traveling to the Sheraton.

It’s a proven fact that attending our recruiter networking events helps recruiters enjoy more success as members of Top Echelon Network. This event will be no different.

I can promise you that there will be sessions and activities designed specifically to help increase your billings. And I don’t mean just your TE billings. I mean your overall billings, as well.

One thing I know for certain is that when we bring Top Echelon Network members together to help one another, not only do they make placements, but they also help one another with running their desk and finding new ways of being successful in this business.

So we’re bringing back the Virtual Core Groups (VCG) starting on June 8!

So many relationships have been forged in these groups over the years, and those relationships have turned into split placements.

This time around, we are doing things a bit differently. A topic will be presented at the beginning of each meeting to create a sharing discussion during which members can learn from one another. Then I will “open the floor up” for attendees to ask questions regarding the Network software. Last on the list (and the main point of this call) is the sharing of jobs.

Each member will need to have the jobs they want to discuss shared with the Network prior to the meeting. We will display the jobs via GoogleMeet and everyone will be able review them and ask questions.

In terms of scheduling, the VCG meetings will be held regularly on the second Wednesday/Thursday of each month. Below is the Virtual Core Group schedule for June.

Wednesday, June 8:

1:30 p.m., ET – Manufacturing/Engineering
2:30 p.m., ET – Information Technology
3:30 p.m., ET – Biotech/Pharma/Med Device

Meeting Format:

  • Attendee roll call
  • A brief discussion of recruiting-related topics that will allow attendees to share and learn from one another.
  • Brief Q&A on the Network software
  • Sharing of jobs. (Jobs must be advertised to the Network prior to the meeting). Members will share their hottest jobs and discuss the particulars with the attendees as their jobs are shared on the screen.

For years in Top Echelon, we held an annual “Network Membership Drive,” one that few Network recruiters probably remember. Back in the day, that drive consisted of our hard copy Networking News newsletter that was mailed to 20,000 recruiting agency owners.

However, that was when print marketing was all the rage. In this digital age, print marketing is NOT all the rage.

The best way to get new members in Top Echelon Network who value quality and integrity is to ask for recruiter referrals from current members in Top Echelon Network who also value quality and integrity.

From that indisputable truth springs three reasons why we want your referrals for membership in Top Echelon’s split network:

1.) If you’re the type of recruiter we want in the Network, then chances are good that you know other recruiters who we also want in the Network.

2.) Recruiters you feel comfortable working with already are more than likely good candidates for membership.

3.) Trust is one of The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network, and it might be the most important one. We trust you as Network members . . . and we trust you to refer other recruiters we can also trust.

In addition, we are more than willing to PAY for your referrals. Once your referral applies for membership and is accepted, we will credit your agency’s account $150. (Yes, that is more than your agency’s monthly membership dues. Minus any brokerage fee you owe us, of course.)
