The year is certainly flying by, is it not? After all, it’s hard to believe that we’re rapidly approaching the halfway mark of 2023.

Now that we’re nearly at the end of the fifth month of the year, it can mean only one thing . . . the Memorial Day holiday!

As you might have already guessed, the Top Echelon Software offices are closed on Memorial Day. Specifically, the Top Echelon offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of the holiday.

In this case, the “Top Echelon Software offices” refers to the following:

No worries, though. Our offices will re-open at 8 a.m., EDT the following day: Tuesday, May 30.

As always, I’d like to take a moment to wish you a fun and safe Memorial Day holiday. This is a great opportunity to get together with family and friends and to travel for parties, picnics, and barbeques.

And of course, the Memorial Day holiday is always an opportunity to remember those who have served our country or who are currently serving our nation, both here and overseas.

We hope that you have a great holiday weekend!

Rack up another dozen splits for recruiters in Top Echelon Network!

And, as you can see below, the Network members involved in those splits landed some big fees. Ben Brown of TSS Sourcing Solutions and Gary Schultz of Work 22, Inc. landed the biggest one. They placed a Senior Developer for a fee of $41,250 at 25%.

In addition, there were three other fees that were at least $30K and four more that were at least $20K. Despite whatever rumblings may be heard in the job market and the broader economy, job orders are still plentiful, and as a result, the placements are still flowing.

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our weekly placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in Top Echelon Network for the week of Monday, May 16, through Sunday, May 22.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your Network placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in Top Echelon Network!

You can do so by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

I know that I’ve mentioned this in the past, but I would like to mention it again. (After all, it has been a while.)

In our continued efforts to help Network members meet the ever-changing challenges of the recruiting profession and the job market, we’ve been increasing the frequency of our training and networking activities.

As part of that, I’m pleased to announce that I am conducting “Top Echelon Network Q&A” sessions every Thursday at 3:00 p.m., Eastern Time. (Previously, these sessions were every Monday at 3:30 p.m.)

During these sessions, I will answer any questions you may have about Network membership, including:

  • Best practices
  • The Top Echelon Network Policies
  • And anything else associated with membership

In short, I am answering questions that will hopefully help you make more split placements!

We use the Google Meetings platform for these sessions. Click the link below to join this meeting at the appointed time every Thursday.

Top Echelon offers a free monthly webinar as part of its Expert Recruiter Coaching Series.

These webinars touch upon a variety of recruiter-related topics. These topics deal with both job candidates and clients. As always, our goal with these webinars is to help professional recruiters and executive search consultants just like YOU make more placements.

We record these webinars for those recruiters who can’t attend the live presentation, and we’re now pleased to offer the video from our most recent webinar by Greg Doersching of Next Level Training.

The title of that webinar (and corresponding training video) is “Becoming a Talent Agent: Mastering the MPC Marketing Strategy.”

Below is the official description for this training video:

— — —

MPC (Most Placeable Candidate) Marketing . . . STAR (Special Talent Available & Ready) Marketing . . . Skill Marketing . . . Purple Squirrel Marketing – it doesn’t matter what you call it, it all means the same thing.

It’s reversing the recruiting paradigm and taking good people who are looking for a change in jobs and finding them a new employer for a fee as opposed to what we usually do, which is “filling an order.” The market conditions we are in right now have made the practice of MPC Marketing more effective than ever before. It’s also becoming the fastest way to placements and will remain so for years.

So join Greg Doersching of Next Level Exchange for the next webinar video in Top Echelon’s Expert Recruiter Coaching Series, as he walks you through the tricks, tips, and tactics that will help you master this concept!

Watch this FREE training video!

Recorded versions of our Expert Recruiter Coaching Series webinars are posted on our website as free online recruitment training courses in the Top Echelon Recruiter Training Library.

Keep an eye out for the next free webinar in our Expert Recruiter Coaching Series!
