The job market remains red-hot, including for recruiters!

The latest evidence of this is listed below, namely the 27 split placements that Network recruiters racked up last week. There were a number of members leading the way, including Phil Hurd of Oculus Search Partners, LLC. Phil accounted for four splits during the week.

And congratulations to Amy Chapman of Key People Staffing and John Ricciardi of Afton Consulting Group. The dynamic duo placed a Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance Systems for a $40K fee at 25%!

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our weekly placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in Top Echelon Network for the week of Monday, April 25, through Sunday, May 1.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your Network placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in Top Echelon Network!

If you’re a newer Network member and you’d like to enjoy more success in our recruiter network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

Pat McCombs, CPC of KB Search Team, LLC has been a “milestone” machine as of late.

Let’s start with the fact that Pat is celebrating her 40th year as a recruiter and search consultant this year. Then there is the fact that she reached the 100-placement plateau in Top Echelon’s recruiting network, although that was a couple of years ago.

Pat McCombs, CPC of KB Search Team, LLC

Pat McCombs, CPC

Relatively recently, though, Pat reached the $1 million mark as a member of the Network!

In fact, due to the fact that Pat remains busy in the Network, she currently sits at just north of $1.2 million in TE billings for her career. She’s made nine split placements already in 2022.

Pat has been a model Top Echelon recruiter during her time in the Network. She’s split-minded, she adheres to all of The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network, and she’s a big advocate of attending recruiter networking events like our National Convention and Fall Conference.

We at Top Echelon could truly not ask for a better Network member than Pat McCombs. She has a passion for recruiting, a passion for people, and a passion to make split placements!

“I have been a recruiter for 40 years, and a good portion of that time I have been part of Top Echelon Network,” said Pat. “I have worked with many amazing network partners, and I hope that I will continue to do so in the future. I am OLD, but I love this business and plan to continue working for several more years!”

Pat, of course, is part of one of the most successful recruiting agencies in the history of the Network. KB Search Team, LLC has been with Top Echelon for almost the entirety of its 34-year history. During its tenure, the agency has accounted for a whopping 322 TE placements and a cash-in total of nearly $2.5 million.

So congratulations not only to Pat McCombs, but also to all of the recruiters and employees of KB Search Team, LLC.

We look forward to many more years of helping them make split placements!

Since you’re a member of Top Echelon Network, you’re probably already familiar with some of the benefits of a split placement network of recruiters.

But have YOU made split placements yet? Have you closed a deal with another recruiter and experienced those benefits first-hand?

Below are three benefits of a split placement network:

#1—An excellent experience

What’s better than making a placement? Making a placement that involves a great experience.

Chances are good that you’ve made placements that have been a miserable experience. And of course, you’ve worked searches that were miserable and didn’t even end with a placement fee.

However, when you work with a trusted trading partner in a recruiting network and the two of you collaborate and strive toward a common goal, the result can be exemplary on a number of levels.

#2—Great candidates

Day after day and week after week, Network recruiters make placements solely because they were presented with a great candidate by one of their split recruiting partners.

Their client couldn’t find the right candidate. They couldn’t find the right candidate. But one of their partners had the perfect candidate. BOOM! Placement!

#3—Professional satisfaction

Despite all of the slow-moving clients and wacky candidates, recruiting can be and often is a very rewarding profession. When things work well and happen the way they should happen, the rewards are apparent.

Not only that, but the feeling of satisfaction is also that much greater. It serves to remind you why you became a recruiter in the first place. And every recruiter needs a reminder like that from time to time.

Are there more than three benefits of a split placement network? Of course there are! And I’m sure we’ll be writing about those, as well, as Network members continue to make splits.

If YOU want to experience more of the benefits associated with Network membership, contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

I don’t often talk about myself in the third person. However, I thought it was appropriate for the title of this particular blog post.

At Top Echelon, we want to help YOU make more placements. That’s why we’re here. That’s why we’re in business.

And more specifically, I want to help you. After all, I’m the Director of Network Operations at Top Echelon, a job that I have held for 15 years now.

One of my goals as the Director of Network Operations is to talk to as many Network members as I possibly can. The more recruiters that I can talk to, the more recruiters I can help, and the more recruiters who will be able to make split placements and generate additional revenue for their agency.

So with all of that in mind, I would like to invite YOU, the members of Top Echelon’s recruiting network, to book a time on my calendar so that we can talk about your membership and how you can maximize it.

Just click the link below to schedule a time on my calendar that works for you:

Book 15 minutes with Drea!

We can talk about any aspect of your Network membership during these calls. I want to help you identify the challenges that exist for you and formulate ways for overcoming those challenges so that you can effectively leverage the resources that the Network offers.

I want to do everything I can to ensure that Top Echelon Network recruiters can keep the current level of momentum going over the rest of 2022 and that we all end the year on a high note.

I look forward to speaking with you soon!

We’re constantly upgrading both the Top Echelon recruiting software and our split placement network software.

So we’re pleased to announce the following updates:

1. Ability to Mass Disqualify in Pipeline

Disqualify has been added as an option in the action menu of the Pipeline Inbox, In Play, and All Records views. This new action allows you to save time by selecting and disqualifying candidates in a mass format.

3. People and Company ‘Has Mobile’ Advanced Search Field

We’ve added a new Advanced Search option that allows for further filtering of your results list based on the existence (or lack) of a mobile phone number.

4. Search for Jobs Advertised to LinkedIn and ZipRecruiter

The Advertising card in Jobs Advanced Search now includes the option to search for jobs that are posted to LinkedIn Limited Listings and ZipRecruiter.

5. [BETA TESTING] Posting Jobs to Indeed

We have started beta testing the ability to post jobs from the software and receive applicants directly through an existing Indeed account(If you’re currently posting to Indeed and interested in beta testing this new time-saving feature, send an email to beta@topechelon.com.)

Remember, you can always stay informed by visiting the official Top Echelon Product Updates page. You can see current and past updates, as well as which updates and upgrades are next.

(Note: As mentioned above, if you’re interested in Beta testing upcoming features in the software, we encourage you to email us at beta@topechelon.com.)
