It’s almost the end of the first month of the year, but we haven’t forgotten about the Top Echelon Network statistics for last year!

Each year, we at Top Echelon compile certain statistics for our recruiting network. This includes a variety of data, including job orders, candidates, and placements by discipline.

However, before we get to those numbers, let’s look at some others, shall we?

  • Completed placements were up 11.2% in 2018 over 2017.
  • The average placement fee was $20,283,33. That’s the highest average in the Network during the past five years.
  • The average starting salary for a placement was $93,406. Once again, that’s the highest average in the Network during the past five years.
  • The average fee percentage was 21.6%. The average has been hovering in the 21%-22% range during the past five years.

While all of that is good news, we have more statistics. Specifically, we have job orders, candidates, and placements by discipline. These represent the final numbers for the calendar year 2018. (That’s defined as January 1 through December 31, for those of you keeping score at home.)

Below are the job orders, candidates, and placements by discipline in Top Echelon Network for 2018:

Once again, the most placements in the Network were made in Industry & Manufacturing (27.5%). This discipline has long been the most productive discipline in TE. That’s been the case since the Network was founded as Nationwide Interchange in 1988.

As you can see, Industry and Manufacturing also boasted high levels of both job orders (34.2%) and candidates (43.5%). Other hot disciplines for 2018 included Engineering and Health Care.

The bottom line: if you work in these disciplines, then are placement opportunities for you in Top Echelon’s split network!

If you haven’t made any split placements in TE yet, then contact Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS. You can contact him by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

If you’re looking to bill more this year, then look no further than this Pinnacle blog post. That’s because it’s proof that adding contract staffing services to your business model can be profitable. Just take a look at the top contracting recruiters of 2018, which we’ve listed below.

First of all, I’d like to congratulate Jim Brown of Galileo Search for claiming the top spot for 2018. As you can see, Jim and his agency billed almost $1 million through Top Echelon’s recruitment back office. Galileo Search has been a member of Top Echelon’s recruiting network since 2003, and Jim has been a top contracting recruiter for the past several years.

Network member Keith Adams of PediaStaff has also been a top contracting recruiter. In fact, Keith has been one for the better part of the past decade. He’s set new standards for consistency in terms of contract staffing. Keith and his agency also billed nearly $1 million through Top Echelon Contracting in 2018. PediaStaff has been a Top Echelon member agency since 2006.

Another long-time member agency, Stephens International Recruiting, finished third in 2018. Doug and Cindy Stephens will celebrate their agency’s 20th anniversary in our split network in June of this year. Not only have they been top contracting recruiters in Top Echelon, but the agency has also made 69 Network placements since 1999.

So congratulations to Jim, Keith, Doug, Cindy, and everybody who made a ton of money making contract placements through Top Echelon in 2018!

(Editor’s note: This report lists the Top 10 Top Echelon Network members by contract placement earnings through Top Echelon Contracting. The report is provided to Network members for informational purposes.)

#2—Use Top Echelon’s recruitment back office solutions. We’ll take care of all the financial, legal, and administrative details associated with employing the contractors.

Yes, it’s that time of year again. It’s time to announce the top-producing recruiters in Top Echelon Network from the previous year!

Once upon a time, we only recognized the top 10 top-producing recruiters at our National Convention every spring. A couple of years ago, though, we expanded that to include the top 15. (Because the more, the merrier, right?)

Before we get to the good stuff, though, I must trot out our usual disclaimer regarding these rankings:

Our annual list of the top recruiters is determined by members’ cash-in total in our split network on a rolling 12-month basis. The order of the list reflects the recruiters’ cash-in total for the 2018 calendar year, which ended at midnight on December 31, 2018.

A rewarding trip to New Orleans

As mentioned above, we will recognize the top 15 recruiters in the Network at the upcoming 2019 National Convention. They will receive an award in front of their peers at the annual awards luncheon.

This year’s National Convention is scheduled for Thursday, March 28, and Friday, March 29. In addition, we’re holding the convention in New Orleans!

Early Bird Registration is currently underway for the convention. That means you can register at the Early Bird rate of $449 per person. (You can sign up for the convention in the Members’ Area with a credit card.)

In the meantime, join us in congratulating the top-producing recruiters listed above. I hope they’ll join us in New Orleans and that YOU will join us, too. And here’s to hoping that 2019 is an even better year for Top Echelon recruiters!
