‘This the season for heart-warming stories. So we have one this week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. Specifically, we have two Network split partners who placed one of the recruiter’s brother!

This may be the first time this has happened in the nearly 30-year history of Top Echelon’s recruiting network. (If it has happened before and somebody in the reading audience has the details, please email them to marketing@topechelon.com.)

Network split partners and success

The Network split partners in question were Catherine Bateman-Stewart of Woods & Paolino Recruiting Solutions and Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group. The two of them successfully placed Catherine’s brother in the position. Michael had the job order and (obviously) Catherine had the candidate.

As you can see by the comments below, both Catherine and Michael are pleased with this placement for many reasons. Both were happy to place Catherine’s brother and also to work together. This was Catherine and Michael’s first placement together, and if this one was any indication, it won’t be their last.

That’s because they both show a willingness to do what is necessary for success as Network split partners in Top Echelon. They’re willing to make split placements, for one. They’re willing to use TE’s tools, such as the Alerts system. And they’re willing to work with each other through every step of the process and see the search to completion.

So Michael filled his client’s job order. Catherine split a placement fee for a job order that wasn’t hers. Catherine’s brother is now employed. Now that is a heart-warming ending to our story!

If you want make more placements in the Network (heart-warming or otherwise), Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS can help. You can reach Drea by calling 330.455.1433, x156 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

“Two things about this placement. First, I saw this position because I use the TEN Search Alerts and Michael posted a well-written job order, as usual.

“Second and even more important is Michael’s diligence in presenting our candidate, my brother. Michael always works hard for the candidates and the client, but I feel he really had his heart in this one even more than usual. I am so thankful for the chance of working with TEN and especially Michael!”

“I couldn’t be happier to make this placement with Catherine. This split ranks up there with the best of my career, as the candidate is Catherine’s brother. So happy to be able to assist her brother find a new job. And, as always, it’s a pleasure working with Catherine. She’s already assisting me with another sales rep opening with this same client. Way to go, Catherine, happy your brother is once again employed.”

As we’ve mentioned many times before, there are Four Pillars of Top Echelon’s recruiting networkQualityCommunicationTrust, and Active Participation.

They are extremely important in terms of experiencing success as a Network recruiter. Specifically, they’re vital for those recruiters wanting to make more split placements in Top Echelon.

However, there is one that we reward recruiters for embracing, and that’s Active Participation. The way we do so is through our Frequent Placer Points (FPP) Program. The FPP Program is one of the ways we reward participation by Network recruiters in a tangible way . . . and I’ll explain what I mean.

How the program works:

Okay, the name of the program is a bit misleading. While we reward members for making placements, we also reward them for doing other things, as well. A list of those other things is below:

  1. Attending Top Echelon’s recruiter networking events
  2. Attending Regional Core Group Meetings
  3. Participation in Virtual Core Group meetings
  4. Posting job orders
  5. Sharing qualified candidates
  6. Scheduling telephone interviews
  7. Scheduling face-to-face interviews
  8. Making a placement with a new member of Top Echelon’s split network

How we reward recruiters:

We’ve assigned point totals to these different activities. TE recruiters earn these points once they complete an activity. The points earned for the FPP Program accumulate each calendar year from January 1 through December 31.

How do you redeem your points? This is the best part.

Recruiters who qualify for a FPP Program reward will automatically receive a “cash-back” rewards check in February following the year that they earned those points. In the past, we have issued checks totaling tens of thousands of dollars to Network members for the points they earned. So less in two months, Network recruiters who earned points through the FPP Program will receive their “cash-back” rewards check.

There are 10 plateaus of achievement in the FPP Program. The more you participate, the more plateaus you will achieve and the more money you’ll earn in the form of a “cash-back” rewards check.

Every member is automatically eligible to participate in the program. You can view your progress in the program by clicking on the “My FPP Points” button found on your Recruiter Profile.

For complete information about the program and how we reward recruiters, click on the “Frequent Placer Program” link in the upper-left hand part of the Members’ Area. It’s listed with the “Candidate Alerts,” “Job Order Alerts,” and “Policies” links.

Thank you for your current—and future—participation!
