Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group, the Recruiter of the Year in Top Echelon Network for 2021, is finishing this year strong. This is evidenced by the fact he was part of seven splits last week in the Network!

Since TE recruiters finalized 21 splits overall last week, it means that Stuck was part of 33% of the placements in the Network. As of right now, he’s on track to repeat as Recruiter of the Year in TE, and despite Trey Cameron’s best efforts, it appears as though he will do just that.

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our weekly placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in Top Echelon Network for the period from November 21 through November 27, 2022.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your Network placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in Top Echelon Network!

If you’re a newer Network member and you’d like to enjoy more success in our recruiter network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

We are more than three-quarters of the way through 2022. However, as you well know, your work is far from over.

You have to finish the year strong and also prepare for what will hopefully be an even better year in 2023.

The good news is that there is simplicity to your split recruiting membership in Top Echelon Network. And with that in mind, I have five things that every member—even those who are active in the Network every day—should be doing during Q4 and beyond.

#1—Share every job you have.

Hedge your bets by filling the role more promptly as a split. This demonstrates to your clients that you are THE go-to source for their needs in any market or environment.

Need more convincing? Then here are four reasons “Why You Should Share ALL of Your Jobs with TE.”

#2—Upload your candidates and opt-in to Network Candidates.

You know better than most people how tight the market is for talent right now. Qualified job candidates are in huge demand, and employers are more than willing to use a recruiting agency to help meet their hiring needs. I know for a fact that there are recruiters in the Network who have stopped taking job orders from their clients because they already have too many. You might be facing the same problem.

Top Echelon Network members, like all recruiters, need candidates! And they need them yesterday, so upload all of your candidates to the Network system and opt-in to the Network Candidates sourcing tool. (That is, if you haven’t done so already.)

#3—Check your quality.

What do the candidates look like that you are directly submitting to your TE partners’ jobs? Be sure that you have thoroughly read the job description and spoken to the recruiter.

(And don’t forget that Quality is one of The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network. We haven’t.)

#4—Call your trading partners back.

If somebody reaches out to work with you . . . respond to them! Communication is king in our recruiter network, so please act accordingly.

It will only take a few minutes of your time and it will go a long way toward branding you in a positive way within the Network.

#5—Develop at least FIVE (5) new partnerships.

Expanding your network in Top Echelon can only increase your success. Strive to create five new partnerships or working relationships in TE during the fourth quarter.

If you have ANY questions about this blog post or about your Top Echelon Network membership, I encourage you to contact me immediately (if not sooner.)

You can reach me by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

This week, in the “Planning Your Network Success” series, I’ll be tackling the topic of trading partners, specifically how they relate to The 5 Stages of a Networker.

What are recruiters’ attitudes and philosophies regarding trading partners in each of these stages? Well, I have the answer!

However, I’ll be addressing the first three stages this week and the fourth and fifth stages in the near future. That’s because the fourth and fifth stages are where the real money is made in Top Echelon’s recruiter network and deserve a bit more attention.

My analysis includes descriptions of each stage of being a networker and the three groups of recruiters involved in the process of networking—the Outer Group Size, the Inner Circle Size, and the Core Group Size. That analysis is below.

Stage 1 Networker

They often view other recruiters as competitors.

Outer Circle Size: Actual count is the current size of Top Echelon Network. A Stage 1 Networker is initially intimidated by the size of the Network. Anticipated placement billings = $0 to $5,000.

Inner Circle Size: Zero recruiters. Anticipated placement billings = $0.

Core Group Size: Zero recruiters. Anticipated placement billings = $0.

Stage 2 Networker

They’ve had contact with many Top Echelon Network members. Although most of these contacts have been pleasant, they have contacted enough people to have a few “not so good” experiences, as well.

Outer Circle Size: Actual count is the current size of Top Echelon Network. A Stage 2 Networker has begun learning how to maneuver. Anticipated placement billings = $0 to $5,000.

Inner Circle Size: Zero to five recruiters. A Stage 2 Networker has been working with between zero and five recruiters more than once and feels somewhat comfortable with them. Anticipated placement billings = $0 to $5,000.

Core Group Size: Zero recruiters. A Stage 2 Networker has not yet developed a close bond with any recruiters. Anticipated placement billings = $0.

Stage 3 Networker

They’ve had contact with a great many agencies, recognize that every agency does things differently, and are willing to “roll with the punches.”

Outer Circle Size: Actual count is the current size of Top Echelon Network. A Stage 3 Networker is beginning to realize that the larger this group, the higher the probability that somebody will place their candidates and provide them with good candidates. Anticipated placement billings = $5,000 to $10,000.

Inner Circle Size: Five to 15 recruiters. A Stage 3 Networker feels pretty comfortable with between five and 15 recruiters, even though they may not share the exact same work styles. Anticipated placement billings = $0 to $5,000.

Core Group Size: One to two recruiters. A Stage 3 Networker has begun to bond very closely with one or two recruiters. This is the type of relationship where there is ultimate trust and respect for each other. Anticipated placement billings = $5,000 to $10,000.

In my next blog post in this series, I’ll examine trading partners in regards to the fourth and fifth stages of a networker.

If you have any questions in the meantime—about this blog post, about The 5 Stages of a Networker, or about your split recruiting membership in Top Echelon Network—please contact me.
