We have another batch of TE Network split placements in this week’s issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

And not only that, but we also have more TE members who have made their first Network split. Those two members are Sharon Werdebaugh of Your Talent Team and Troy Miedema of ProSource IT.

Sharon placed a Java Developer (Remote) with John Ricciardi of Afton Consulting Group to earn a $17,500 fee at 25%.

Troy, meanwhile, teamed up with Mike Moenter of Solutions Development Center, LLC to place a Backend Java Developer to earn a fee of $18,000 at 20%.

Congratulations to both Sharon and Troy for making their first split placement as members of TE Network!

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE Network’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in TE Network for the period from October 7 through October 20, 2024.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your split placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in TE Network!

I’m pleased to announce the Virtual Core Group (VCG) meeting schedule for the month of November!

For those of you who don’t know, TE Network recruiters share the following information during Virtual Core Group teleconference call meetings:

  • Hot job orders and candidates
  • Information about the activity they’re seeing in the marketplace and/or in their niche
  • Ideas for increased production on their desks and within their agencies

These are the activities that lead most directly to making more split placements in TE Network.

So that is why I’m inviting—or in other words, strongly encouraging—you to attend one of these Virtual Core Group meetings. Below is the complete VCG schedule for November, including the industries involved and the time that each meeting will be held. (Note: all times are Eastern.)

Tuesday, November 12:

  • 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. — Legal Services
  • 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. — Sales & Marketing

Wednesday, November 13:

  • 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. — Manufacturing & Engineering
  • 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. — Information Technology
  • 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. — Biotechnology/Pharmacology

Thursday, November 14:

  • 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. — Architectural/Engineering/Construction
  • 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. — Accounting & Finance

You can join the meeting to which you belong by accessing the information listed below.

Google Meeting link: https://meet.google.com/qba-qdic-kou

Below is the agenda for each Virtual Core Group meeting:

  1. Welcome
  2. Roll call of the members
  3. I will share the latest software updates for both TE Network and the Top Echelon recruiting software (now known as TE Recruit).
  4. Members will share their hot jobs with corresponding group discussion.
  5. I will direct a software and Network protocol Q&A session to close the call.

It is my goal that this agenda will help you take away more from the meeting than just hot jobs and/or candidates. Hopefully, it will help make you more knowledgeable in terms of the TE Network community.

If you’d like to join one of the groups listed above or if you’d like to start a new group, please contact me.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

You can’t experience success . . . unless you expect success, and that philosophy most certainly applies to your TE Network membership.

Just as trust and effort are vital factors, so are your expectations in recruiting within Top Echelon, specifically the expectations you have for networking. That’s why in this blog post in the “Planning Your Network Success” series, I’ll be examining the expectations that Network recruiters have.

Below are how The 5 Stages of a Networker apply to expectations in recruiting:

Stage 1 Networker

Their expectations of networking fluctuate on a per-person basis. They always blame TE Network or other recruiters if they’re unsuccessful.

Stage 2 Networker

Their expectations are normally high. They can see the potential, but they expect other recruiters to respond to their job orders and to place their candidates.

Stage 3 Networker

Their expectations are a little more realistic now. They’re beginning to understand that many of their job orders and candidates submitted to the Network will not result in a placement, but they recognize that some will. So they persevere!

Stage 4 Networker

They know how much Network activity is needed to generate revenue. They try to budget their time accordingly and take their split business seriously.

Stage 5 Networker

With relatively good accuracy, they can predict how many split placements they will make with their Outer Circle, Inner Circle, and Core Group of trading partners. They have a formal plan for the way in which they’re going to derive their split business revenue, and they work their plan. They know this success will not happen by chance, so they take responsibility to make it happen!

In my next blog post in this series, I’ll examine Active Participation.

If you have any questions in the meantime—about this blog post, about The 5 Stages of a Networker, or about your split recruiting membership—please contact me.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

The best way to learn how to make more placements in a split placement network is to see how other recruiters have made placements with their split partners.

That’s why we present such placements every week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

These placements tell a story, and like all great stories, they end with a placement fee. (“They lived happily ever after.”) However, to write a great story yourself, you must invest in your split partners.

Below are three BIG reasons to invest in your split partners:

#1—Exceptional candidates

We can’t emphasize this enough. Every single day in Top Echelon’s recruiter network, members share exceptional candidates with one another.

And every single day, recruiters in TE Network make split placements with each other because of the exceptional candidates that they’ve shared.

It’s all about the candidates! More candidates!

#2—Help during the placement process

Being a recruiter is NOT easy. The recruiting process is long. Hiring managers can be clueless. (You didn’t say that, I did.) Candidates can be secretive and stubborn. Face it: some help would be nice.

That’s exactly what you get with a quality split recruiting partner, somebody who can help you navigate the long and winding road to Placement City. (“Fall-offs and turn-downs and no-shows, oh my!”)

#3—Looking like a rock star to your clients

When you present exceptional candidates and you present them quickly, you look good in the eyes of your clients. When you look good in the eyes of your clients, hiring managers give you more job orders.

And when hiring managers give you more job orders, you fill them with more exceptional candidates from your split partners. It’s almost like a system . . . or something.

So if YOU want exceptional candidates, help during the placement process, and to look like a rock star with your clients, then invest in your split partners!

Also, contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS at 330.595.1742 or via email at drea@topechelon.com. (Because Drea is already a rock star.)
