Well, it happened . . . August is over. September is here, and on the horizon is the end of the summer season. Blah.

So how will we distract ourselves from inevitable seasonal changes? By focusing on split placements, of course, and we have a bunch of them for you in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

And although we don’t have seven Network members making their first TE split (as we did in a previous issue this month), we do have one. That one is Jerred Hebert of Quest Energy Group.

Jerred placed a SAP Logistics Consultant with Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group to earn a $37,400 fee at 22%.

And that just so happens to be the largest split placement fee in this issue of The Pinnacle! Congratulations to Jerred and Michael!

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in Top Echelon Network for the period from August 19 through September 1, 2024.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your Network placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in Top Echelon Network!

Along with countless recruiters, we’ve already inducted two recruiting agencies into the Top Echelon Hall of Fame. Quick, do you know which ones? Here are two hints:

  1. MJ Recruiters, LLC in Tiffin, Ohio
  2. KB Search Team, LLC in Fort Wayne, Indiana

With those two hints, you should not know which agencies have already been inducted into the Top Echelon HOF. But do you know which recruiting agencies will be inducted next?

What’s that? You want more hints? Sorry, we’re fresh out.

However, what we will do is reveal those agencies in the induction announcements below. Because, after all, that IS the point of this blog post . . .

COMMITMENT: Making 100 placements in Top Echelon’s recruiting network is no easy feat. After all, if it was, then everybody would be doing it.

But that is not the case. It requires a number of things, including talent, expertise, commitment, and perseverance—to name just a few. That’s why those who have made 100 or more placements in TE Network have been enshrined into our first Hall of Fame class.

And it’s why Chris Ramsay, CPC of Corporate Resources, LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio has also been enshrined!

Chris has enjoyed a long and successful recruiting career, both inside of Top Echelon Network and outside of it. In terms of the former, she’s made a total of 102 TE placements during her 25 years as a Network member.

During the course of the past two and a half decades, Chris has worked with a number of recruiters at Corporate Resources who were also very active in the Network. Specifically, she has specialized in Engineering and Manufacturing positions, from mid-level engineers to plant managers and director level.

According to Top Echelon President Mark Demaree, Chris has consistently produced at a high level during her time in the Network and her spot in the Hall of Fame is well deserved.

“Chris has long been a proponent of split placements and the networking necessary to make them happen,” said Mark. “Her commitment to the Network and her trading partners has been evident during the past 25 years, and I congratulate her on this prestigious accomplishment.”

We at Top Echelon are pleased to announce the induction of Chris Ramsay into the Top Echelon Hall of Fame as a member of the 2024 class!

THE POWER OF MANY: While there are multiple agencies in Top Echelon Network that have made more than the 290 placements that Corporate Resources, LLC has made in TE, the majority of those agencies have been carried to that placement total on the shoulders, so to speak, of one recruiter.

Corporate Resources—based in Cincinnati, Ohio—is an exception to that rule.

We know, of course, that Chris Ramsay, CPC has accounted for 102 of those 290 placements. For her efforts, she’s been inducted into the Top Echelon Hall of Fame on an individual basis. However, that still leaves 188 other TE placements that recruiters in Corporate Resources have made since the agency joined the Network in 1992.

During the past 32 years, there have been many recruiters who’ve worked for Corporate Resources, some of whom have left and/or retired from the profession. Their placements, of course, obviously count toward the agency’s overall Network placement total.

As far as active recruiters in the Network are concerned, Corporate Resources partner Carol Brinkman has made 46 TE placements and recruiter Dan Winters has contributed 11 splits.

According to Top Echelon President Mark Demaree, Corporate Resources has been a model member agency in Top Echelon since the day it joined the Network.

“We’ve always been proud of the fact that we’ve had a number of fantastic recruiting agencies join the Network hailing from the great state of Ohio, and Corporate Resources is certainly one of those agencies,” said Mark. “The production and professionalism of their recruiters has been nearly unparalleled during their 32 years in Top Echelon, and Corporate Resources fully deserves its HOF induction.”

We at Top Echelon are pleased to announce the induction of Corporate Resources into the Top Echelon Hall of Fame as a member of the 2024 class!

AUTOMATIC: Automationtechies.com in Eden Prairie, Minnesota is a recruiting agency that will soon be celebrating a quarter century of excellence within the profession.

And that excellence has also been reflected in its status as a Top Echelon Network member agency during that same timeframe. In fact, the recruiters of Automationtechies.com have racked up 144 TE placements during the past two decades.

As a result, Automationtechies.com is now a member of the Top Echelon Hall of Fame!

The agency is unique in the 2024 induction class in that it’s the only HOF agency that does not have an individual recruiter who has also been inducted. Automationtechies.com’s status as an HOF agency has been a team effort, spearheaded by President Alan Carty.

Not only has Alan made 44 TE placements during his time in the Network, but he was also a Top Producer in Top Echelon Contracting, which is now Foxhire. Other recruiters making major contributions to the agency’s placement total in the Network include Kristy Fangman (24 splits), Michelle Johnson (22 splits), and Kristy Fitch (11 splits).

“Automationtechies.com has been a model of consistency down through the years,” said Top Echelon President Mark Demaree. “Their entire agency has invested time, energy, and effort into the split placement process, and it’s paid off for them and their trading partners. Without a doubt, it’s been one of the most successful member agencies in the history of the Network.”

We at Top Echelon are pleased to announce the induction of Automationtechies.com into the Top Echelon Hall of Fame as a member of the 2024 class!

Be sure to check The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog—as well as Top Echelon’s official LinkedIn account—for future announcements regarding 2024 inductees into Top Echelon’s Hall of Fame!

As we inch closer and closer to TE Connect Fall 2024, we have yet another announcement to make regarding sponsorship for the event!

Although . . . if you’ve been following along with us during the month of August, then you know that there are three major sponsors for TE Connect Fall 2024. They are:

Two weeks ago, I featured Recruiters Websites within the pages of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog.

Last week, I featured SourceWhale in The Pinnacle.

This week, I’m going to focus on Quil.AI in this fine publication. Below is the story of Quil, taken from the company’s website:

“At Quil, we’re a fusion of left brains and right brains. A chill but hardworking bunch of visionaries, creatives, and tech-savvy nerds, united by a singular vision: to create a world where every recruiter achieves the pinnacle of their performance.

Back in 2018, Ryan Frampton joined Vidyard as a BDR. There, he worked his way up to hiring and leading a team of 20 AEs and three sales managers in the SMB sales department. That’s when he realized the challenges of hiring a team.

Driven by the desire to help make the hiring process easier, Ryan ideated and decided to build the solution he needed. Thus, Quil was born. Since Ryan didn’t have the technical expertise to turn Quil into a reality, he called his friend Jordan Malfara, who was leading the development team at CoinSquare at the time and also experienced similar hiring challenges.

A few months later, Ryan left his role as the Head of Sales to embark on this new mission to build an AI platform built for recruiting, along with Jordan as co-founders. This software would write notes for them on interviews and automatically update the applicant tracking system so they could focus on listening to candidates.

Today, top recruiters trust Quil.”

Ryan Frampton of Quil.AI

Ryan Framption

Ryan Frampton, CEO and Co-Founder of Quil.AI will be presenting one of the sessions at Top Echelon Connect Fall 2024 in Canton. The title of that session is “AI Prompting Masterclass.”

That session is scheduled for 11:35 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25.

During this session, Ryan will show attendees how to to properly use AI with prompts and the right AI tools. In the meantime, you can click HERE for more information about how you can automate your Top Echelon recruiting software subscription with Quil.

Once again, below is the important logistical information regarding TE Connect Fall 2024:

  • Early Bird Registration: $325 per person through Saturday, September 7

I’m pleased to announce the Virtual Core Group (VCG) meeting schedule for the month of September!

For those of you who don’t know, Top Echelon Network recruiters share the following information during Virtual Core Group teleconference call meetings:

  • Hot job orders and candidates
  • Information about the activity they’re seeing in the marketplace and/or in their niche
  • Ideas for increased production on their desks and within their agencies

These are the activities that lead most directly to making more split placements in Top Echelon Network.

So that is why I’m inviting—or in other words, strongly encouraging—you to attend one of these Virtual Core Group meetings. Below is the complete VCG schedule for September, including the industries involved and the time that each meeting will be held. (Note: all times are Eastern.)

Tuesday, September 10:

  • 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. — Sales & Marketing

Wednesday, September 11:

  • 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. — Manufacturing & Engineering
  • 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. — Information Technology
  • 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. — Biotechnology/Pharmacology

Thursday, September 12:

  • 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. — Accounting & Finance

You can join the meeting to which you belong by accessing the information listed below.

Google Meeting link: https://meet.google.com/qba-qdic-kou

Below is the agenda for each Virtual Core Group meeting:

  1. Welcome
  2. Roll call of the members
  3. I will share the latest software updates for both Top Echelon Network and the Top Echelon recruiting software.
  4. Members will share their hot jobs with corresponding group discussion.
  5. I will direct a software and Network protocol Q&A session to close the call.

It is my goal that this agenda will help you take away more from the meeting than just hot jobs and/or candidates. Hopefully, it will help make you more knowledgeable in terms of the Top Echelon community.

If you’d like to join one of the groups listed above or if you’d like to start a new group, please contact me.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.
