Sometimes a TE Network Top Producer makes a split placement with a new member. Sometimes a new member makes a split placement with another new member.

Top Echelon Content and Communications Manager Matthew Deutsch

Matthew Deutsch

However, sometimes a Top Producer makes a split placement with another Top Producer. Or in this case, a Top Echelon Hall of Fame member makes a split with another Top Echelon Hall of Fame member.

And that just so happens to be the case in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog!

The Hall of Fame members in question are Amy Chapman of Key People Staffing and Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group. As you can see below, Amy and Michael recently placed a Director of Operations to earn a $55,000 fee at 25%.

Just for fun, let’s add Amy and Michael’s production since they joined TE Network:

  • Over 28 combined years of membership
  • 762 split placements
  • $6,306,311 of cash-in

To say that is impressive would be an understatement, so I won’t say it. Instead, I’ll say that it is phenomenal production that represents a deep belief in The Four Pillars of TE Network and a commitment to Amy and Michael’s trading partners and fellow members.

As the Mandalorian would say, “This is the way.”

But before we part ways, I must also recognize Oleg Goltsov of K. Jacobs Executive Search, who recently made his first split placement as a member of TE Netowrk. Oleg placed an Estimator – Electrical with Alex Ello of Acloche Direct Hire to earn a $36,000 split fee at 20%.

(It should be noted that Amy also recently made two splits with another Top Echelon Hall of Fame member, Brad Dodge of iLocatum Recruiting.)

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our split placements:

  • Names of the trading partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE Network’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in TE Network for the period from August 3 through August 9, 2026.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your split placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Once again, congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in TE Network!

If you’re a newer TE Network member and you’d like to enjoy more success in our recruiter network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

Every recruiter has encountered the same frustrating situation. You find someone who looks like a strong candidate, but the record in your database is missing critical information.

Top Echelon Content and Communications Manager Matthew Deutsch

Matthew Deutsch

Maybe there is no current email address. Perhaps the phone number is missing or outdated. The candidate’s work history is incomplete. Or maybe you simply need more information before deciding whether the person is worth pursuing.

Traditionally, filling those gaps means leaving your recruiting software and starting the search elsewhere. You might check LinkedIn, visit company websites, conduct Google searches, review social profiles, or use another third-party tool.

All of that takes time away from what recruiters should be doing: connecting with people and making placements.

That’s why Top Echelon has introduced the Data Enrichment Add-On for TE Recruit.

More Information Without Leaving TE Recruit

Data Enrichment allows recruiters to enhance People records with additional professional information directly within TE Recruit.

Using enrichment credits, you can request information that may include:

  • Contact email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Work history
  • Education
  • Social media profiles
  • Business information
  • Other professional details

Data Enrichment is available directly from People Datasheets and lists, as well as records within the Browser Extension. That means you can uncover additional information while working inside your normal recruiting workflow.

Instead of finding a candidate and then beginning a separate research project, you can potentially move from discovery to qualification and outreach much faster.

The goal is simple: more conversations and less searching.

Make Your Recruiting Database More Valuable

Data Enrichment is not just about finding an email address or phone number. It can also help agencies improve one of their most important assets: their recruiting database.

Over time, even the best-maintained database develops gaps. People change jobs. They move. Their contact information changes. Records imported years ago might contain only basic information.

Those incomplete records can easily become dormant.

Data Enrichment gives recruiters another way to bring them back to life.

Suppose TE Recruit’s AI People Search uncovers a candidate who entered your database several years ago. The person appears relevant to a new search, but their record contains outdated or incomplete information.

Instead of dismissing the record, you can request additional data and determine whether that person represents a new recruiting opportunity.

This can make candidate rediscovery even more powerful. Someone who was not right for a search three years ago could be exactly who your client needs today.

Spend Less Time Researching and More Time Recruiting

Consider how many small research tasks recruiters perform during an average week.

You find an interesting candidate but need an email address. You discover an old database record and want to know where the person works now. You need more career information before making a recruiting call. Or you find someone while sourcing online and want to capture additional professional information.

Individually, these tasks may only take a few minutes. Collectively, they can consume hours.

Data Enrichment is designed to reduce that manual work by bringing additional information closer to where recruiters are already working.

That can help you move through the recruiting process more efficiently, whether you are sourcing candidates, qualifying prospects, cleaning up your database, or rediscovering people already in TE Recruit.

It also means fewer interruptions caused by jumping among multiple websites, browser tabs, databases, and third-party services.

Put Data Enrichment to Work

There are numerous ways agency recruiters can incorporate Data Enrichment into their daily workflow.

You might find a promising candidate who does not have usable contact information and enrich the record before beginning outreach.

You could use enrichment to learn more about a candidate’s employment history and education before deciding whether to contact them.

When reviewing older records, you can look for updated information that could make those candidates relevant again.

And when sourcing through the TE Recruit Browser Extension, you can request enrichment while you are working online and bring additional information into TE Recruit without disrupting your sourcing process.

The result is a more complete picture of the people you are recruiting and a database that becomes increasingly useful.

100 Monthly Credits for $29

The Data Enrichment Add-On costs $29 per month per agency and includes 100 enrichment credits each month.

If your agency uses more than its monthly allowance, additional credits are available at $0.50 per credit.

For recruiters, the value comes down to what those credits can help you accomplish.

If better information helps you reach a candidate sooner, rediscover someone who eventually becomes a placement, or simply saves hours of manual research, Data Enrichment can become another tool for increasing productivity.

In agency recruiting, speed matters. The faster you can identify the right person, gather the information you need, and begin a conversation, the faster you can move toward a potential placement.

Turn More Data Into More Opportunities

Your TE Recruit database should not simply be a collection of records. It should be a source of recruiting opportunities.

Data Enrichment can help make that happen by filling information gaps, improving existing records, reducing manual research, and helping recruiters act on promising candidates and prospects sooner.

That old candidate record might not be outdated after all. It might just be incomplete.

And with the right information, it could become your next recruiting opportunity.

Learn more about the TE Recruit Data Enrichment Add-On and how to start enriching your People records through the Data Enrichment Overview.

Recruiting has changed. Candidates have changed. Clients have changed. Technology and AI continue to reshape how recruiters work.

Top Echelon Content and Communications Manager Matthew Deutsch

Matthew Deutsch

The question is: Has your recruiting approach changed with them?

At TE Connect Fall 2026 in Chicago, industry trainer and recruiting expert Barb Bruno will lead three interactive Master Classes designed to help TE Network members rethink how they attract candidates, win clients, and spend their time.

These sessions aren’t based on hypothetical challenges, either. They directly address the issues TE Network members identified in the recent member survey, including candidate generation, candidate response rates, and the biggest challenge of all: client acquisition.

Even better, Barb’s sessions are designed around implementation. You won’t just hear ideas that sound good while you’re sitting in the room. You’ll leave with specific changes you can put into action when you return to your desk.

The Recruiter Reinvention: What Worked Then Won’t Win Now

Barb’s opening Master Class tackles a reality every agency recruiter must confront: The recruiting strategies that produced results five or 10 years ago might not produce the same results today.

Candidates receive more messages. They have more ways to research opportunities and recruiters. Their expectations surrounding communication have evolved. Meanwhile, AI and other technologies are transforming how people find and evaluate opportunities.

Continuing to recruit exactly the same way while expecting the same response rates is becoming increasingly difficult.

During “The Recruiter Reinvention: What Worked Then Won’t Win Now,” Barb will challenge long-held recruiting practices and show attendees how to become recruiters candidates actually want to call back.

You’ll learn how to change your approach and communication to generate more responses, as well as how to create a renewable talent pipeline so you’re not starting every new search from scratch.

Barb will also explore how one candidate conversation can create multiple future opportunities. Referrals, relationships, and continued communication can transform one recruiting call into far more than an attempt to fill a single opening.

The session will include a live interactive exercise, and attendees will identify three changes they can make to their recruiting approach starting Monday morning.

Stop Selling Recruiting and Start Becoming a Resource

Finding candidates is only half the agency recruiting equation. You also need clients willing to give you searches.

According to the Top Echelon member survey, client acquisition was the #1 challenge identified by members.

The instinctive response to that challenge might be to increase activity. Make more calls. Send more emails. Reach out to more prospects.

Barb will offer another perspective during “Stop Selling Recruiting: Become the Resource for Talent They Can’t Afford to Lose.”

The goal is to stop being perceived as another recruiter asking for a job order and start becoming a knowledgeable resource hiring authorities want to speak with.

That distinction is increasingly important when hiring managers and company leaders are overwhelmed with recruiter outreach.

During this interactive Master Class, Barb will show TE Network members how to change conversations with prospects and clients. Instead of focusing primarily on whether an organization has an opening you can fill, you can learn more about what the organization is trying to accomplish.

Attendees will learn how to ask better questions that uncover the desired business outcomes behind an opening. Understanding those outcomes can help recruiters demonstrate their expertise, differentiate themselves from competitors, and provide greater value throughout the hiring process.

It’s about changing the conversation from “Do you have a job I can work?” to “What are you trying to accomplish, and how can the right talent help you accomplish it?”

That can be a very different conversation.

Give Your Recruiting Desk a 30-Day Reset

You can generate candidates. You can win clients. But there’s another resource every recruiter needs to manage effectively: time.

Recruiters have no shortage of things competing for their attention. Emails, database updates, sourcing, phone calls, meetings, administrative work, social media, research, follow-ups, and countless interruptions can consume the day.

But activity and productivity are not necessarily the same thing.

In Barb’s final Master Class, “The Million-Dollar Desk Reset,” attendees will examine where their time actually goes and whether those activities are contributing to placements and revenue.

The premise is straightforward: You don’t necessarily need more hours in your day. You need to make better use of the hours you already have.

Barb will help attendees identify and protect the highest-value activities that contribute to placements. She’ll also challenge recruiters to determine what they should automate, delegate, eliminate, or personally dominate.

Another important component of the session will involve measurement. Rather than simply tracking how busy you were, Barb will discuss the numbers and behaviors that can help predict future production.

The session will conclude with an interactive exercise in which attendees develop their own 30-Day Desk Reset to implement after TE Connect.

Three Sessions, One Goal: Better Recruiting Results

Barb’s three Master Classes cover different parts of an agency recruiter’s desk, but they all point toward the same objective: helping recruiters become more effective in a changing profession.

The first asks you to reconsider how you attract and engage candidates.

The second challenges you to improve how you approach prospects and clients.

The third examines how you spend your time and generate production.

Together, they address three fundamental questions every agency recruiter should be asking:

  1. Are the recruiting methods I’m using today still working?
  2. Am I giving clients and prospects a compelling reason to talk with me?
  3. Am I spending enough of my time on activities that actually lead to placements?

At TE Connect Fall 2026, you’ll have the opportunity to answer those questions alongside other TE Network members and leave Chicago with concrete strategies for improving your desk.

TE Connect Fall 2026 will be held October 29-30 at the Sheraton Suites Chicago O’Hare. Registration is $375 per person.

If you’re ready to stop relying on what worked yesterday and start building the recruiting desk you need for tomorrow, Barb Bruno’s three interactive Master Classes are three more reasons to join your fellow TE Network members in Chicago this fall.

We’re continuously updating both the Top Echelon recruiting software and our split placement network software.

So we’re pleased to announce the following software updates!

1. Data Enrichment Add-On

We’ve introduced a new Data Enrichment add-on that allows you to purchase enrichment credits and request additional information directly from individual People Datasheets. Enriched data may include contact email addresses, phone numbers, work history, education, social media profiles, and other professional details, helping you quickly uncover actionable candidate information, reduce manual research, and engage talent faster without leaving TE Recruit

2. RingCentral Integration

Connect your RingCentral account to TE Recruit to make phone calls and send text messages directly from the software. Call and text message details are automatically logged as Activities, helping keep your records up to date and making past conversations easy to review.

3. [PRO] Natural Language Search

You can now search for people in your database by describing what you’re looking for in plain language using a single AI-powered text field. This helps you find the right candidates faster without needing to build complex search criteria upfront.

4. [PRO] Resume Sequence Records

You can now resume a stopped record in a Sequence without removing and re-enrolling it. This gives you more flexibility to continue outreach from the existing Sequence when you’re ready.
