Byrnes & Rupkey, Inc. joined Top Echelon’s recruiting network on May 28, 2014. Since that date, the agency has made exactly 100 placements in TE. That’s an average of nearly 25 splits per year!

One of the recruiters in Byrnes & Rupkey is Lois Rupkey, the Executive Vice President of the agency. She has accounted for nearly half of the splits that the agency has made during the past four years. She currently has 49 Network splits.

Lois has attacked her Top Echelon Network membership, making four TE placements in 2014 and following that with eight in 2015. Then her production really started to balloon.

Lois made 12 Network split placements in 2016 and another 12 the next year. So far in 2018, she’s made 13 TE splits, setting a new personal record in Top Echelon with five months remaining in the year. (Lois is currently ranked #30 in the Network in terms of cash-in during the past 12 months, but she should climb the rankings in the weeks ahead.)

So for all of these reasons and more, Lois Rupkey is Recruiter of the Week in Top Echelon Network!

Lois Rupkey: in her words

However, we wanted Lois to say a few words about the success that she’s enjoyed in TE. This is what she had to say:

“I have been recruiting for 30 years and the success of making 50 placements within TE speaks to the organization and how the members ‘took us in’ in 2014 when we joined. It has been amazing, with lots of friendships along the way! What a group of professionals who know their business and can also add humor, too.

“Thank you to all of you who have made this many splits possible. Our clients are very reactive. If affiliates watch our jobs and share matching talent, we will get the candidate in front of our clients and get an interview!”

Like many of the TE members who win this award, Lois routinely congratulates and compliments her split recruiting partners when submitting Completed Placement Forms. The comments below reflect two recent deals with one of her split partners.

So congratulations to Lois for her production and success in the Network and for being named Recruiter of the Week!

About which conference am I talking? The 2018 Top Echelon Network Fall Conference, of course!

If you’ve been following along, you know that we’ve announced the dates of the conference. We’ve also published the preliminary agenda and presented a case study about the effectiveness of attending our recruiter networking events.

But . . . I sense that you need more to convince you to attend. So this week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, I’m going to present three reasons why this conference is different from any other.

It’s good to be different

We hold our Fall Conference and National Convention every year for the expressed purpose of helping you make more split placements. And if it’s possible, we’re putting even more of an emphasis on that goal this year.

With that in mind, below are three reasons that the 2018 Fall Conference will be different from any other:

#1—We’re creating a new networking experience.

This new experience is one that’s unique and even more focused on helping you leverage your relationships to make more money. At Top Echelon, we’re always trying to improve and evolve, and this conference will be further proof of our efforts in that area.

#2—There are no industry trainers at this event.

The reason for this? We want YOU to be the focus! Yes, industry trainers provide tremendous value, and the ones that we’ve invited to past events have done just that. However, we’ve decided that the best thing we can do for this event is to put you and your split network membership front and center.

#3—You will learn (everything) from other recruiters.

All of the ideas and “pearls of wisdom” that you glean from the conference will come from two main sources. One is your discussions with trading partners. The other is the presentations made by selected Network peers. These are the people who are down “in the recruiting trenches” on a daily basis, just like you.

Attending Top Echelon events is an investment in your Network membership. It’s how you build split recruiting relationships. And as you know, relationships form the foundation of success in Top Echelon Network.

Early Bird Registration for the Fall Conference is underway! Register now, save money, and make plans to join us in Chicago in October!

We’re back with more Top Echelon Network members who have made their first TE deal!

We’re excited about this, and that’s because once you make one TE deal, it’s easier to make more. And that’s what we want. We want Network recruiters to make multiple deals each and every year. When that happens, it means those recruiters are receiving an excellent return on their split network membership.

First (and second) TE deal

So, who made their first TE deal recently? I’m so glad you asked. The names of those members are as follows:

  • Bill Cebak of Orbital Search Group
  • Gary Nashif of SMB Recruiters, LLC
  • Vicki Kennison, CPC of Sterling St. James, LLC
  • Stevie Clark of Ethical Search Professionals, Ltd.

But wait, there’s more! We also have a handful of Network members who made their second TE deal recently. The names of those members are as follows:

  • Bob White of Impact Solution, Inc.
  • Elsa Duty of Recruiting Services International
  • Blake Kindle of Mackie Search, LLC

So congratulations to everybody who made their first (or second) TE deal and to everybody who made split placements this week!

There have been a lot of newcomers in Top Echelon’s recruiter network making a lot of noise in 2018. In other words, they’ve been making a LOT of placements.

But you don’t have to take that from me. The numbers don’t lie. And the numbers in this instance are the number of placements they’ve made and their corresponding cash-in totals.

Network newcomers “raking it in”

Speaking of those numbers, we have them listed below. As you can see, there are some Network newcomers who are “raking it in.” They’re raking in recruitment fees, specifically. These newcomers include the following:

  • Keith Cornelison of Personnel Resources: member since December 14, 2016
  • Steve Zollner of The Sunridge Group: member since May 2, 2016
  • Michael Agen of New Solutions Group, LLC: member since October 26, 2016
  • Vern Fuller of Knightsource, LLC: member since July 26, 2017

You might be wondering how somebody can be called a newcomer if they’ve been a member for two years. Well, that’s because it sometimes takes a few months for new members to get their bearings in TE. During that time, they find suitable split recruiting partners and start laying the foundation for their membership. Then they enjoy increasingly higher levels of success.

Take Kristy Staggs of Byrnes & Rupkey, for example. (She’s also on the list below.) Her agency joined the Network in May of 2014. During the past four years, Kristy has made 45 split placements in TE. Of those 45, only two occurred in her first year. That is a remarkable stretch of production.

If you’re a newcomer in Top Echelon Network, then you can become a top producer, too. If you’ve only been a member for a couple of months, don’t lose hope. Find your groove like these recruiters did, and start cranking out the placements.

Congratulations to everybody on the list below for their performance during the second quarter of 2018!

Top Echelon’s split network determines the monthly and quarterly winners of its recruiting awards based upon two criteria, which are listed below in order of importance:

1.) The number of split placements made
2.) The amount of cash-in dollars earned as a result of those split placements

This explains why, when multiple recruiters are tied with the same number of split placements during a given month or quarter, the recruiter with the largest cash-in total for their placements is deemed the winner.
