Communication is everything!

As we progress with technology, we have to find ways to adapt our communication to be more streamlined and efficient.

We at Top Echelon Network have made leaps and bounds to advance the tools with which you work, namely the Big Biller recruiting software and the Top Echelon Network split placement software.

But Communication, one of The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network, is still vital to you and your trading partners. Everybody needs to be aware of the new tools and methods, so there is not a lapse in communication between partners.

Here is the simplicity of the system.

If you send a candidate to another recruiter’s job, please do it through the system. There are a variety of ways to submit candidates. They include the following:

  • TEN Jobs Feed
  • Network Candidates Request
  • Direct submission to a Network Job

Using these system tools will allow the job order recruiter to properly track from whom that candidate was submitted and properly communicate to the candidate recruiter the following steps. Without this, there is more work for the job order recruiter, as well as the likelihood that communication will break down.

As the job order recruiter, when you thumbs up/down or delete somebody’s candidate, the candidate recruiter is notified through the software.

As you progress with that candidate and create activities with them, be sure to share Activity Details. Remember, these are your trusted partners with whom you make money!

When the Offer is Accepted on a split, move the candidate into the placement stage of the job by selecting the last bubble in the In Play/Current Stage (see below):

This prompts the placement form to be filled out. Follow the prompts to fill out the form. When you save the form, your trading partner will be notified.

It’s that easy! Using the system allows you to keep track of all of your activities with your jobs and your trading partners’ candidates without sending additional emails, texts, etc.

Remember, Top Echelon Network is built on its partners trusting one another. One certain foundation of trust is regular communication.

While the Top Echelon system is helping you keep track of things so much easier . . . you should always be talking to your partners on the phone on a consistent basis. Because as I mentioned at the beginning of this blog post, communication is everything!

At Top Echelon, we’re constantly upgrading both the Big Biller recruiting software and our split placement network software. So we’re pleased to announce the following updates:

1. Activity Type Option Added to Email Templates – A new Activity Type field has been added to the Email Template interface. This allows you to assign a specific type to each template, so it doesn’t need to be changed manually each time the template is used in an email message.

2. New People Search Fields – We’ve added two new search options to allow for further filtering of your search results:

  • The ability to search on whether or not a candidate is Willing to Relocate
  • The ability to search on the existence of a Present/Recent Title

3. Company “Has Email” Advanced Search Field – We’ve added a new Company Advanced Search option that allows for further filtering of your results list based on the existence (or lack) of an email address.

4. Integration with Verified First – We are pleased to announce our partnership with Verified First, a premier background and drug screening company. With an active Verified First account and corresponding Chrome Extension, you can now jump-start the screening process right from the Contact Information card on a Person’s Datasheet.

5. Import URLs via the Contact Importer – You now have the ability to import URLs into the Social Media & Links card of a Person or Company Datasheet through the Contact Importer, allowing you to preserve more of your existing spreadsheet data. This includes the ability to map a Link.

6. Job Actions Card – A new Job Actions card has been added to all Job Datasheets and provides quick and easy access to common Job functions, including searching for candidates, emailing candidates (taking advantage of Job Merge Fields), and copying the Job Board link to share with potential applicants.

7. Recruiter Merge Fields – Recruiter Merge Fields have been added to the email compose window. These new fields will allow you to pull the First and Last Names from the related Network Recruiters and quickly insert them into your message or Email Template.

8. Recently Opted In Card on Network Candidate Dashboard – A new “Recently Opted In” card has been added to the Candidates view of the Network Dashboard, allowing you to view the 10 most recent agencies that have opted into the database and had their candidates indexed.

9. Top Producers Page – We’ve added a “see all” link to the bottom of the existing Top Producers card on the Network Dashboard, which will display a full ranking of all Network Recruiters who have made split placements.

10. Top Importers – A new card has been added to the Jobs view of the Network Dashboard that displays the top 10 Network Recruiters based on the number of Placements over the last 12 months where they provided the Job. A “see all” link at the bottom of the card will take you to the new Top Importers page, which displays all Network Recruiters who have made Placements as the Job Recruiter.

11. Top Exporters – A new card has been added to the Candidates view of the Network Dashboard that displays the top 10 Network Recruiters based on the number of Placements over the last 12 months where they provided the Candidate. A “see all” link at the bottom of the card will take you to the new Top Exporters page, which displays a ranking of all Network Recruiters who have made Placements as the Candidate Recruiter.
