Congratulations are in order for Carol McBride of RCC Group, LLC and Thyra Gadek of Southwest Accounting Resources.

That’s because Carol and Thyra placed an AV – Real Estate Tax to generate a split placement fee of $46,250.

That’s the highest fee among this week’s batch of Top Echelon Network split placements!

And congratulations are also in order for Cliff Rusnak of M-Works Search. Cliff made his first split placement as a member of Top Echelon Network, placing a Mechanical Engineer with Brad Dodge of iLocatum!

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our weekly placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in Top Echelon Network for the period from July 17 through July 23, 2023.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your Network placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in Top Echelon Network!

We’re continuously updating both the Top Echelon recruiting software and our split placement network software. So we’re pleased to announce the following software updates!

1. ZoomInfo Integration for TalentOS Users

An integration with ZoomInfo’s TalentOS sourcing tool now enables you to export candidate contact information directly into Top Echelon Software. This integration must be connected and configured via the ZoomInfo interface by the account administrator.

2. Merge Fields in Text Messages and Templates

You now have the option to include Person Merge Fields when sending a text message or creating a Text Message Template. This allows you to save time and automatically pull personalized information into your message without having to write it out.

3. Standardized Phone Numbers

Phone numbers with 10 digits are now displayed in a standardized format of 123-123-1234 across Contact cards for increased readability.

4. Virtual Meeting Link Buttons

Our Virtual Meeting Links now feature an updated, button-based design that makes it easier to select your preferred virtual meeting platform when sending Calendar Invites.

5. ACH Transfer for Brokerage Fees

We are now able to accept ACH transfers for Top Echelon’s 6% Placement brokerage fees. Click HERE to learn more about how to utilize this new payment option.

6. BETA: Spark Hire Integration

Our integration enables users to create and select structured interview questions that job applicants respond to asynchronously. This process empowers hiring and staffing teams to interview candidates more efficiently—reducing hiring/placement time while improving interview completion rates, quality of hire, and the candidate experience.

7. BETA: Indeed Interview Virtual Meeting Links

Add virtual Indeed Interview links to Scheduled Activities while sending calendar event invitations.

This process empowers hiring and staffing teams to interview candidates more efficiently—reducing hiring/placement time while improving interview completion rates, quality of hire, and the candidate experience.

(If you’re interested in Beta testing these new features, email us at

I’m pleased to announce the Virtual Core Group (VCG) meeting schedule for the month of August!

For those of you who don’t know, Top Echelon Network recruiters share the following information during Virtual Core Group teleconference call meetings:

  • Hot job orders and candidates
  • Information about the activity they’re seeing in the marketplace and/or in their niche
  • Ideas for increased production on their desks and within their agencies

These are the activities that lead most directly to making split placements in Top Echelon Network.

So that is why I’m inviting—or in other words, strongly encouraging—you to attend one of this month’s Virtual Core Group meetings. Below is the complete VCG schedule for August, including the industries involved and the time that each meeting will be held. (Note: all times are Eastern.)

Google Meeting link:

Below is the agenda for each Virtual Core Group meeting:

  1. Welcome
  2. Roll call of the members
  3. I will share the newest software updates for both Top Echelon Network and the Top Echelon recruiting software.
  4. Members will share their hot jobs with corresponding group discussion.
  5. I will direct a software and Network protocol Q&A session to close the call.

It is my goal that this agenda will help you take away more from the meeting than just hot jobs and/or candidates. Hopefully, it will help make you more knowledgeable in terms of the Top Echelon community.

If you’d like to join one of the groups listed above or if you’d like to start a new group, please contact me.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to

For only the second time in 10 years, Top Echelon is moving its physical location.

For 25 years, we were located in a building in downtown Canton, near the center of the city. Then, in 2013, we moved to a new location in the shopping district of the city.

And now we’ve moved again, although this time it’s more akin to moving around the corner or down the block. Regardless of logistics, though, it’s important for members of Top Echelon Network—as well as users of Top Echelon’s recruiting software—to know the location of our, well, new location.

That location is as follows:

Top Echelon
4565 Dressler Road, N.W., Ste. 213
Canton, OH 44718

Consequently, we encourage you to use the above address for any and all correspondence that you send to us. This includes the brokerage fee for any splits placements that you make as a Network member.

However, if you didn’t already know, Top Echelon now also accepts ACH payments for brokerage fees that are due. Read this article by Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS for more information about ACH payments.

And if you have any specific questions about our address change, please give us a call at (330) 455-1433.

As always, thanks very much for your commitment as a Network recruiter and loyalty as a Top Echelon customer!

Every relationship needs a great foundation in order to succeed. It doesn’t matter what kind of relationship it might be.

It could be the one you have with your parents. Or your children. Or maybe even your spouse. If that relationship has a great foundation, then it’s more likely to flourish and be successful.

And the split partner relationships that you have in Top Echelon’s recruiter network are NO different.

The split placements that Top Echelon Network members make with one another represent examples of that foundation. That’s because you can clearly see why the split partner relationship works.

This formula can be summed up as follows:

The recruiters involved took the time to learn about their partner, how they work, and what they needed.

Let’s break that formula down, shall we?

#1—Take the time.

Success in a split network like Top Echelon requires an investment of time. (It also requires an investment of energy, but that doesn’t speak specifically to this point.)

There’s no way around the fact that your Network membership is an investment in your recruiting desk and your agency. Top Echelon Network is not a “magic money-making machine.”

#2—Learn about your split partner.

There are many things about which you must learn. These things include your partner’s background, their business, and in some cases, even their family, hobbies, and personal pursuits.

You can become friends with your split partners, you know. It’s happened before.

#3—Learn how your partner works.

As you well know, not everybody works their recruiting desk the same way. In fact, recruiting desks are like snowflakes: no two desks are exactly alike.

As a result, you must find out some things. What is your partner’s recruiting process like? What is their preferred method of doing things?

#4—Learn what your partner needs.

What they need might depend upon whether they are an importer or an exporter in the Network. What do they need in the candidates that you present? What details do they need about the job?

Even if this is the only thing that you really figure out about your split partners, you can still be successful and make placements with them.

Are you looking for a better foundation for your Top Echelon recruiting network membership? That’s the first step. The second step is contacting Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to
