First of all, congratulations to Joe Pelayo of Joseph Michaels International and Trey Cameron of Cameron Craig Group.

That’s because Joe and Trey placed a Payroll Manager to generate a fee of $43,750, which just so happened to be the Largest Split Fee of the Month in Top Echelon Network for May!

However, there are other people who also merit special mention in this blog post. They are Steve Kohn of Affinity Executive Search, Inc.; Larry Rosenthal of Larry Rosenthal & Associates; and Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group.

That’s because, as you can see below, all three were part of two of the top five recruiting fees in the Network during the month of May! As you might imagine, that’s no small feat in Top Echelon’s split network.

As a reminder, Top Echelon determines the monthly and quarterly winners of its Network split fee recruiting awards in four distinct categories:

1.) Recruiter of the Month
2.) Largest Split Fee of the Month
3.) Recruiter of the Quarter
4.) Largest Split Fee of the Quarter

We only announce the winners of these awards in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. We do so usually (but not always) in the issue following the conclusion of each month and/or quarter.

So congratulations to everybody on the list below for scoring some BIG placement fees during the month!

Recently in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, I discussed  “Questions to Ask When Creating Job Alerts in TE.”

This week, I’m addressing another key step for achieving success within Top Echelon Network as an exporter. That step is a thorough understanding of the job description.

First, though, let me say that yes, I understand that you want to make split placements in our Network. I love the fact that you want to make split placements. As such, I don’t want to dissuade you from doing so or dampen your enthusiasm.

Study the job description!

However, it’s important to not put too much of a burden on the job order recruiter. This is especially the case in a situation in which the job is not within your area of expertise.

That’s why you should study the job description to get a firm understanding of the position and the client’s needs.

If the job is NOT within your area of expertise, it’s recommended that you find a job that IS within your area. It’s not fair to expect the job order recruiter to “teach you” how to work and recruit in their niche. It is also not fair to expect them to look at submissions that are based on a lack of knowledge or experience in their niche.

I appreciate the fact that you want to work their jobs. However, this can be counterproductive and quite possibly damage your relationship with that recruiter.

Potentially, it could become a big time waster, as well as a point of frustration for other recruiters. Nobody wants that, so exercise caution.

Instead, track down jobs that are in your area of expertise. Then take the time to thoroughly understand the job description. Find out exactly what the client wants and work to provide it.

That’s the first step toward filling that position and yet another step toward enjoying success as an exporter in Top Echelon’s recruiting network.

May was a big month for two-time defending Top Echelon Recruiter of the Year Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group. That’s because Michael made a total of 16 split placements during the month, and those placements generated more than $136K in revenue.

Trey Cameron of Cameron Craig Group and Steve Kohn of Affinity Executive Search, two more perennial top producers in the Network, finished second and third, respectively, during the month of May.

Below is the information that we include with the Recruiters of the Month feature in Top Echelon Network:

  1. The top five (5) recruiters for the month.
  2. The “cash-in” total for each recruiter during the month. (We base the order of the recruiters on their amount of “cash-in” dollars, as opposed to the number of split placements they made.)
  3. The number of splits that the recruiters made during the month.
  4. The number of splits each recruiter has made during their Network career.
  5. Each recruiter’s “cash-in” total for their Network career.

With this format, there are more than likely going to be ties among recruiters, especially with those Preferred Members who have made split placements with each other.

Congratulations to the recruiters listed below . . . and congratulations to every Network Member who made a split placement (or multiple splits) during the month!

May was another solid month for membership in Top Echelon, as 15 more recruiting agencies joined the Network!

As is the case every month, our new Network firms work in a variety of industries and niches, and they’re all ready to make split placements and generate more revenue! These industries include Manufacturing, Accounting, Engineering, Healthcare, and Information Technology, among many others.

With that in mind, I encourage you to look over the list of new member firms below. And of course, reach out to any one of them (or more) if you believe that you can make splits together.

We run the names of recruiting agencies applying for membership in the Network Dashboard section of the Top Echelon software. We list the names of new Network members, as well.

However, we also list our new members in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. This list typically includes the:

  • Name of the agency
  • Industries and/or specialties in which the agency operates
  • Names of the recruiters working at the agency
  • Geographic location of the agency

So I’d like to take this moment to once again congratulate the agencies listed below and welcome them to the Network. I look forward to helping them make split placements!

(Note: If you have any questions about reaching out to new Preferred Members or about your split recruiting membership in general, please contact me. My contact information is listed at the end of this blog post.)

June is a big month for anniversaries in Top Echelon Network. As you can see below 39 Top Echelon agencies are celebrating a Network anniversary!

Not only that, but we also have a Network firm that’s celebrating its 33rd year in Top Echelon. That firm is Career Professionals, Inc. in Morristown, Tennessee.

Veronica Snyder of Career Professionals, Inc.

Veronica Snyder

Veronica Snyder is the president of Career Professionals, and she’s been one of the most successful recruiters in TE history. In fact, she’s made 95 split placements during her Network career with a cash-in total of more than $850K.

So in the very near future, Veronica could join the 100 Placement Club and $1 Million Club in Top Echelon Network!

When recognizing Network agencies for their anniversaries, Top Echelon includes the name of the agency; the length of the anniversary; and the location of the agency, including the city and state.

So congratulations to all of the agencies celebrating anniversaries in our split fee recruiting network during the month of June!
