Each year in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, we publish the names of the top-producing recruiters in the Network for the previous year. We determine that list by total cash-in for the year. And then we publish the names of the Top Echelon agencies from that year, and we also determine that list by total cash-in.

We’re just a little late releasing the second list for 2018. The first list can be found here. The second list, as you can see, is below.

Our annual list of the top Network agencies is determined by those agencies’ cash-in total in our split network on a rolling 12-month basis. The order of the list reflects the agencies’ cash-in total for the 2018 calendar year, which ended at midnight on December 31, 2018.

Candidates ghosting has become quite a problem in the employment marketplace during the past year or so. More and more, candidates are simply disappearing during various stages of the hiring process. Those stages include the following:

  • Phone screen
  • Face-to-face interview
  • Offer of employment
  • First day of work
  • After lunch on the first day of work

Renowned industry trainer Barb Bruno, CPC/CTS of Good as Gold Training recently conducted a webinar as part of Top Echelon’s Recruiter Coaching Series. The title of that webinar was “Recruiter Ghostbusting – Who You Gonna Call?”

During that webinar, Barb presented the top 10 reasons why candidates ghost during the hiring process:

#1—They’re too nervous and panicked, so they don’t show up.

#2—They’re not sure they’re qualified for the opportunity.

#3—The company or organization is not one that they prefer.

#4—They have other interviews lined up that interest them more.

#5—They’re close to accepting another offer.

#6—They saw negative reviews about the company or organization on the Glassdoor website.

#7—They feel that the opportunity is a lateral move.

#8—They don’t see advancement potential.

#9—They’re not sure of the company culture.

#10—They used the interview to secure a counter-offer from their current employer.

From a recruiter’s perspective, of course, none of these are good reasons. They’re just the top 10 reasons. That being said, how do you prevent this from happening? Perhaps no other recruiter in the history of Top Echelon Network has embraced his members in TE like Michael Agen of New Solutions Group, LLC.

The math is rather simple. His agency joined the Network in October of 2016. That’s two and a half year ago. Since that time, he’s racked up 46 split placement. It looks like a foregone conclusion that he will reach 50 splits before October of this year. It’s not know whether that’s the fastest that any Network member has reached 50 splits, but if it’s not a record, then it has to be close.

Michael’s production to this point has resulted in over $275K cash-in. Not a bad return on the investment he’s made in his Network membership.

Not only that, but Michael cracked the top five in Top Echelon. He finished #5 in terms of cash-in, generating more than $150K in just his second full year as a Network member. To say that’s impressive would be an understatement.

However, we are going to say that . . . and we’re also going to say that Michael Agen is Recruiter of the Week in Top Echelon Network!

Michael Agen: the secret to his success

We wanted Michael to say a few words about the success that he’s enjoyed so far in TE. Thankfully, he agreed to do so.
