Do you remember what you were doing in March of 1988?

Allow me to rephrase that. If you were alive, do you remember what you were doing in March of 1988?

Well, recruiter Steve Brody of Executive Resource Systems was joining Nationwide Interchange Service (NIS). And as you may already know, NIS was the name used for Top Echelon Network before it was named . . . well, Top Echelon Network.

Why do I bring this up? Because not only is Steve Brody a Charter Member of our recruiting network, but he was also part of the Largest Split Fee of the Month in Top Echelon for December.

Steve made that placement—for a Tax Director, in case you were wondering—with Robert Wilson of R.L. Wilson & Associates to the sweet, sweet tune of $50,000.

You may also notice that we’re now including the top five split fees each month, instead of just the largest one. That’s because not only do we want to spread the money, but we also want to spread the love. (Can you blame us?)

Top Echelon determines the monthly and quarterly winners of its Network split fee recruiting awards in four distinct categories:

We’re pleased to present the top recruiters in Top Echelon Network for the month of December!

Last year, we made a couple of changes to this regular feature in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. Those changes are as follows:

  1. We now list the top 10 recruiters for the month, instead of just the top five.
  2. We now base the order of the recruiters on their amount of “cash-in” dollars, as opposed to the number of split placements they made during the month.

With this new format, there are more likely to be ties among recruiters, especially with those who have made a split placement with one other.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 was a good year overall for Top Echelon Network. This was the case both in terms of Network membership and split placements.

The further good news is that we ended the year in double digits once again in terms of membership, as 17 agencies became the latest members of our recruiting network in December!

As you might already know, we run the names of recruiting agencies applying for membership in the Network Dashboard of the Top Echelon software. We list the names of new Network agencies, as well.

However, we also list our new members in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog. This list typically includes the:

  • Name of the agency
  • Industries and/or specialties in which the agency operates
  • Names of the recruiters working at the agency
  • Geographic location of the agency

Last month, we had three recruiting agencies celebrating 26-year anniversaries in Top Echelon Network.

This month, we have an even more impressive accomplishment: two agencies celebrating anniversaries of 30 years or more!

Those agencies are Markent Personnel in Portage, Wisconsin, and Adel-Lawrence Associates in Aberdeen, New Jersey. Markent Personnel is celebrating its 32nd anniversary this month, while Adel-Lawrence Associates is commemorating 30 years as a Top Echelon Network firm.

As you can see below, there are 21 agencies overall celebrating a Network anniversary during the month of January. Top Echelon now recognizes any and ALL Network agencies celebrating an anniversary during a given month.

When recognizing Network agencies for anniversaries, Top Echelon includes the name of the agency, the length of the anniversary, and the location of the agency, including the city and state.
