As we turn the corner into 2025, there’s a palpable sense of optimism in the air, particularly for professionals and members of the TE Network. While challenges persist in every new year, there are strong indicators that 2025 holds great promise across multiple fronts—economically, politically, and technologically.

With this in mind, below are five compelling reasons why TE Network members should be particularly hopeful about what’s to come in the year ahead.

#1—The Presidential Election Is Over

The conclusion of the 2024 Presidential Election brings a sense of stability and focus. Elections are often accompanied by a “wait-and-see” approach by businesses, which can ripple through financial markets, hiring plans, and general economic sentiment. With the election now in the rearview mirror, businesses and individuals alike can shift their energy toward planning, growth, and innovation without the distraction of campaign rhetoric or policy speculation.

History shows that post-election periods often create opportunities where the economy may see a bump in growth, sometimes referred to as a “post-election bounce.” For TE Network members, this means potentially clearer policy directions that can influence industries, hiring trends, and business growth. Stability and predictability in government can act as a catalyst for economic progress, providing fertile ground for recruiting professionals to thrive.

#2—Post-Election Economic Momentum Is Historically Strong

Historically, TE Network split placements have increased coming out of an election, as opposed to the months leading up to the election. regardless of which candidate won. This pattern isn’t coincidental; it reflects a combination of factors. Businesses often accelerate investments and hiring after the dust settles, as they have more clarity on the policy landscape. In addition, consumer confidence typically strengthens as political uncertainties diminish.

For instance, after the elections of 2012, 2016, and 2020, the U.S. economy demonstrated resilience and growth. While past performance is no guarantee of future results, history often serves as a useful guide. TE Network members can look to 2025 as a year filled with opportunities to connect top talent with businesses ready to expand their workforce. The recruiting industry, in particular, thrives in periods of economic growth, making this an excellent time to sharpen strategies and leverage Top Echelon’s tools for maximum impact.

#3—A Robust Jobs Report Signals Economic Recovery

One of the most encouraging signs heading into 2025 is the strong U.S. jobs report for November 2024. The economy added 227,000 jobs during the month, surpassing expectations and rebounding robustly from a weaker October. This marks a significant milestone, underscoring the resilience of the labor market and the broader economy.

For recruiting professionals, this uptick in job creation is particularly noteworthy. It signals that businesses are confident enough to expand their workforce, which translates to increased opportunities for placements and commissions. Key sectors driving job growth include healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and professional services—industries that often require specialized talent and benefit from the expertise of TE Network members.

The November report also reflects a broader trend of recovery, as wages and labor force participation continue to climb. This creates a favorable environment for recruiters, who can capitalize on increased job openings and a competitive hiring market.

#4—Global Hiring Plans Reflect Cautious Optimism

According to the latest ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey, employers around the world are maintaining cautious optimism with steady hiring plans for Q1 2025. While some industries remain cautious, the overall sentiment points to continued growth in employment opportunities across various regions.

For TE Network members, this global perspective is particularly relevant. As organizations navigate a dynamic economic landscape, they are increasingly seeking skilled professionals to drive their businesses forward. This demand underscores the importance of leveraging tools like TE Network and TE Recruit to identify, connect with, and place the right candidates quickly and efficiently.

The survey also highlights trends such as the ongoing demand for technology-driven roles, the importance of reskilling, and the rise of hybrid work models. For recruiters, staying ahead of these trends will be key to capitalizing on opportunities in 2025 and beyond.

#5—Big Updates for Top Echelon’s TE Recruit Software

Innovation is a hallmark of success, and Top Echelon is poised to deliver significant updates to its TE Recruit software in 2025. These enhancements promise to streamline workflows, improve candidate matching, and provide even greater value to recruiting professionals.

As the recruiting profession continues to evolve, having access to cutting-edge tools is more critical than ever. The upcoming updates will enable TE Network members to work smarter, not harder, by automating routine tasks, enhancing data analytics, and improving collaboration with clients and candidates.

Some anticipated features include sequencing, more AI-driven tools, and improved integrations with other platforms. These upgrades will empower recruiters to stay ahead of the competition, providing better service to clients and securing more placements.

For TE Network members, these software advancements are more than just new features—they represent an investment in the future of recruiting. With the right tools, professionals can navigate the challenges of 2025 with confidence and efficiency.

Looking Ahead

The future is bright for TE Network members and the recruiting industry as a whole. The combination of political stability, historical economic trends, robust job growth, global hiring optimism, and innovative tools from Top Echelon creates a strong foundation for success in 2025.

While challenges are inevitable, this year holds immense promise for those who are prepared to seize the opportunities it presents. By staying informed, leveraging the latest technologies, and maintaining a proactive approach, TE Network members can make 2025 a year to remember.

Let’s embrace the optimism, take advantage of the momentum, and work together to achieve new heights in the year ahead. Here’s to a successful and prosperous 2025!

Is it a new year? Most definitely!

Is it a “new you”? Um . . . well . . .

Are we ushering in the new year with more TE Network placements? Once again, most definitely!

And is there a large placement fee among the split placements in this issue of The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog? Yet once again, the answer is most definitely!

The TE Network members responsible for this placement are Amy Chapman of Key People Staffing and Sonia Malik of Saba Talent. Amy and Sonia placed a Plant Manager to earn a placement fee of $50,000 at 25%.

But wait, there’s more! (Of course there’s more.) That’s because recruiter Brandi Newman of In House Recruiting, LLC made her first TE Network split placement recently. Brandi and Michael Stuck of Gables Search Group placed an account executive to earn a fee of $16,000 at 20%.

So congratulations to everybody and Happy New Year to all!

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our placements:

  • Names of the split recruiting partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE Network’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in TE Network for the period from December 16 through December 29, 2024.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your split placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in TE Network!

If you’re a newer TE Network member and you’d like to enjoy more success in our recruiter network, then I encourage you to contact Top Echelon Director of Network Operations Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

Did you make money through TE Network in 2024? If so, then you might be earning even MORE money for your production!

That’s because if you finished in the top 10 in Top Echelon Network during 2024, then you should soon be receiving your Network Rewards Program check.

On the other hand, if you didn’t finish in the top 10 in the Network or if you don’t even know what the Top Echelon Network Rewards Program is, then you’re in luck. Because we have all the information you need!

There are two tiers under our rewards program.

Tier One: TE Gear

Once a member has reached $25K cash-in through the Network, they will quality for TE gear. Top Echelon headquarters will notify the member that they’ve reached the $25K threshold and can select any item from the TE gear store.

Once a Network member has reached $25K cash-in and selected an item from the TE gear store, there is only one other tier in the program. To reach that tier, a member must be one of the top 10-producing recruiters for that calendar year in terms of cash-in through the Network. If a member reaches that tier, Top Echelon will reward them with a cash award, as listed below.

(Note: All Network recruiters who reach Tier One in 2024 will have until January 31, 2025 to redeem their reward. If you do not respond by that date, then you will forfeit your rewards. And we don’t want you do that.)

Tier Two: Top 10 Cash-In

The top 10 producers in Top Echelon’s recruiter network each calendar year will receive the following cash-back totals, respectively:

  • 1st Place—$3,000
  • 2nd Place—$2,500
  • 3rd Place—$2,000
  • 4th Place—$1,750
  • 5th Place—$1,500
  • 6th Place—$1,250
  • 7th Place—$1,000
  • 8th Place—$750
  • 9th Place—$500
  • 10th Place—$250

The time frame for the Top Echelon Network Rewards Program is January 1 through December 31 of any given year. The program for that year ends on December 31, and a new program begins on January 1.

If you have any questions about the Top Echelon Network Rewards Program, please contact me. You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.

As you may have noticed, we’re continuing to release quite a few updates and upgrades, both to our recruiting software and also to the Top Echelon Network software.

In light of all these updates, we recently promoted the Top Echelon Product Updates Page!

On that page, you can see the most recent updates and upgrades to our software. We break the updates into categories based upon the month that we’ve released them. Not only that, but we also supply an answer to the question, “What’s next?”

However, this week, I would like to remind you of another page related to our applicant tracking software and the Top Echelon Network split placement software.

That page is the Top Echelon Software Status Page.

We update this page if there is ever a service interruption regarding our software. This includes scheduled maintenance of our systems, which we do from time to time. When you visit this page, you can see there are five “Top Echelon Software Systems” listed:

  1. Recruiting Software
  2. Careers Page
  3. Job Posting Service
  4. Top Echelon Network
  5. Website Hosting

Ideally, what you want to see is the word “Operational” next to all of them. About 99% of the time, that is what they say. However, if there is an outage for any reason (once again, including scheduled maintenance), there will be information communicating the status of the situation and when the software will be fully operational and accessible again. There is even a history section, where you can browse through past incidents.

Like the Product Updates Page, the Top Echelon Software Status Page is designed to communicate the most important information to you, our customers. We want you to stay informed about our products and services, so that you can use those products and services to the best of your ability to generate more revenue for your recruiting agency.

If you have questions about these updates or about any other aspect of your Top Echelon Network and/or recruiting software account, you can:

→ Send an email to support@topechelon.com.

→ Visit our Help Center.

I’m pleased to announce the Virtual Core Group (VCG) meeting schedule for the month of January!

For those of you who don’t know, TE Network recruiters share the following information during Virtual Core Group teleconference call meetings:

  • Hot job orders and candidates
  • Information about the activity they’re seeing in the marketplace and/or in their niche
  • Ideas for increased production on their desks and within their agencies

These are the activities that lead most directly to making more split placements in TE Network.

So that is why I’m inviting—or in other words, strongly encouraging—you to attend one of this month’s Virtual Core Group meetings. Below is the complete VCG schedule for January, including the industries involved and the time that each meeting will be held. (Note: all times are Eastern.)

Below is the agenda for each Virtual Core Group meeting:

  1. Welcome
  2. Roll call of the members
  3. I will share the newest software updates for both TE Network and the Top Echelon recruiting software (also known as TE Recruit).
  4. Members will share their hot jobs with corresponding group discussion.
  5. I will direct a software and Network protocol Q&A session to close the call.

It is my goal that this agenda will help you take away more from the meeting than just hot jobs and/or candidates. Hopefully, it will help make you more knowledgeable in terms of the Top Echelon community.

If you’d like to join one of the groups listed above or if you’d like to start a new group, please contact me.

You can do so by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com.
