Our Top Echelon Network Recruiter Profile Experimentation
With the release of the Big Biller recruiting software and the beta version of the Top Echelon candidate database for recruiters software on the horizon, we’re experimenting with different ways to help recruiters promote themselves and get found within the Network. One suggestion was to take the candidates and job orders that have been shared, analyze what Industries and Disciplines the recruiter added for each, and then display that in their Recruiter Profile.
Unfortunately, that’s not a “Who Works What?” but a “Who Has What in the Network” issue. We liked the idea of displaying a “snapshot” of what type of candidates and job orders recruiters have in the Network on their profile. However, what we’ve determined is that we need both on the profile–what the recruiter selected that they work and what the data shows they currently have in the system.
As a result, that’s what’s been done and is currently being displayed in the beta version. Keep in mind that we realize it’s not titled correctly. Instead of “Active Disciplines and Industries Worked,” it should read “Active Disciplines and Industries Currently Shared in the Network.” In addition, we plan to return the Industries and Disciplines you’ve selected to the software. We believed that the Specialization Description on the profile might suffice, but that was not the case. That change will be made in the near future.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to experiment with the beta version of the software. Ultimately, we want to implement changes that make the most sense and that will allow for your Network experience to be as positive as possible. Of course, one way we do this is to rely on your feedback.
