Join the Top Echelon Party at the Baltimore Conference!

Believe it or not, the Top Echelon Network Baltimore Conference is almost here!  The conference is scheduled for Thursday, July 22, and Friday, July 23, at the Emabassy Suites Baltimore-BWI.  There are already 29 Preferred Members registered for the conference, and a few of them graciously agreed to talk about why they made the decision to attend.  (We’ll be running more comments in next week’s issue, as well!)

Ann Boland“I’m really looking forward to the conference because I’ve never heard Greg Doersching ‘live’, but I’ve found everything he’s written to be very helpful.  I also need to meet some of the ‘newer’ Members and want to catch up with ‘older’ Members whom I haven’t seen around in a while.  And I’m very excited about the opportunity to create a video profile: one of the executive outplacement firms to whom I send candidates also offer this capability — but as part of a $7,500 package.  I’m so glad TE came up with the regional format; ROI wise, it makes NOT coming virtually impossible.

Marc Tappis“There is a difference in the relationship you develop with someone when you do it over the phone vs. face to face.  Attending a TE conference gives you the opportunity to meet,  get to know, and establish relationships with successful recruiters.  Just like I have found it invaluable to meet my clients and develop and build relationships, I’ve been able to do the same with TE recruiters by attending conferences.”

Roger Malatesta“Attending TE Conferences are invaluable in what they return in the way on contacts and training.  I have been in the business for many years, and I have found that any training is at least a good refresher and at best offers new ideas on developing new clients and filling jobs.  This year, the speaker is Greg Doersching, who offers some very good ‘in the trenches’ training methods which are specific techniques that he uses everyday that I’m sure can be of help to anyone.  Also, Todd [Bossler] always puts forth a great effort on the software and how to make it work for you, Drea [Codispoti] and Mark [Demaree] always have good information and make you feel like you are an important cog in the Network wheel, and it’s a good break from the routine and a chance to recharge your recruiting batteries.

Philip Bartfield“I’m looking forward to Baltimore after a two-year hiatus.  It’s high time I caught up with all old friends, rekindled relationships, learned a thing or two, and recharge my batteries.”
