Georgette Sandifer: Recruiter of the Week in TE!

There is perhaps nobody who exemplifies Top Echelon Network membership better than Georgette Sandifer of Gallman Consulting. In fact, Georgette exemplifies everything that the Recruiter of the Week selection process guidelines contains:

The selection process for the Recruiter of the Week Award is based upon multiple criteria, including production within Top Echelon Network, adherence to the Network Policies and Golden Rules, the spirit of networking that the recruiter displays while interacting with other members, and the level of commitment that the recruiter exhibits in regards to their Network membership overall. The Recruiter of the Week is a true embodiment of The Four Pillars of Top Echelon Network—Quality, Communication, Trust, and Active Participation.

Georgette has been a recruiter since 2000 and a member of the Network since 2005. She’s made 55 split placements since joining, and she’s been on FIRE this year in TE. So far in 2018, Georgette has made 12 Network placements. As a result, this could be her best year ever as a member of Top Echelon.

So for all of these reasons and more, Georgette Sandifer is Recruiter of the Week in Top Echelon’s split network!

Georgette Sandifer: “Love me some Top Echelon”

However, we wanted Georgette to say a few words about the success that she’s enjoyed in TE. This is what she had to say:

“I was honored to find out that I was selected as Recruiter of the Week. Top Echelon has been a valued resource to me, especially during some very trying times in the staffing industry. After 9/11, sharing jobs and utilizing candidates from my fellow TE members kept me afloat. My mantra is work hard and maintain focus. I think anyone will agree this will normally lead to success, but to add to that: share your jobs with the Network and you have a winning strategy. So far this year, I have made splits with Bob Alexander, Trey Cameron, and Paula Cobb. Ron Sunshine and I came pretty close, as well as some others.

“My biggest strategy in working with TE members is the “But For” Rule. I always err in favor of a TE member’s submittal, not just because it is the right and fair thing to do, but it builds trust. There are so many members that have made the difference between me getting 50% of a fee instead of 0% of nothing! With the current market—and more and more clients using multiple resources—I have to use the best resources that I can . . . and TE is at the top of the list.

“Of course, the relationships I have made are important, as well. I could not list them all here, but they have helped me grow as a recruiter, given me tips and ideas for running a better desk, consoled me, nudged me, and become my recruiting friends and family. (There is a paddle boarding weekend in the not-too-distant future with one of my TE buds with the initials TC. Ask Larry Radzley about the yellow halter dress, Chuck and Cindy Szajkovics about some of our marathon discussions, Bob Gabor about chocolate buckeyes, and Drea about me getting lost in the Nashville hotel. There have been butt darts, race cars, and so many more memories and fun times).

“Finally, the tools and training that TE has provided and continues to provide: Virtual Core Group meetings, the MEGA Database, conferences (very beneficial), online training classes, and a staff second to none. What can I say? I love me some Top Echelon.”

Like many of the TE members who win this award, Georgette routinely congratulates and compliments her split recruiting partners when submitting Completed Placement Forms. Below are her comments regarding not only a recent split placement, but the great story that goes along with it.

So congratulations to Georgette Sandifer for her production and success in the Network and for being named Recruiter of the Week!

“Bob had referred another candidate to me, who my client also hired. The candidate and I developed a great relationship, so when I asked him if he knew of any other good candidates—but for Charleston instead of Columbia—he recommended [this candidate]. So one candidate submitted resulted in two candidates placed and two splits. Not a bad deal at all!”
